This yoga school is awesome. I signed up for an online yoga course and I was impressed what I've got for my money. The teachings were great and more that I expected or would consider possible in just one course. The teachers were great and I just loved Sunday Zoom classes of Hatha, vinyasa or Jin yoga and the Pranayama and meditation practice was beyond expectations.
Thanks to Vinyasa Yogashala for the perfect start into my Yoga journey.

My experience with the Online Self-Paced Certified 200 Hour Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Ayurveda & Kundalini Yoga TTC course was fantastic. It gave me exactly what I was looking for: an in-depth knowledge of various modalities of yoga from beginner to intermediate level, maybe even a little advanced. All teachers of all styles are very competent, detailed and rigorous with the content of traditional yoga, according to the scriptures. I really liked the emphasis on food in kundalini classes, it reminds us that yoga is a philosophy of life that goes beyond the mat. Recorded classes are excellent, as are live classes. I am Brazilian and a yoga teacher for 3 years, after completing this training (in June 2022), I feel that I have much more theoretical foundation and repertoire to conduct variations suitable for each body type and pathologies that we encounter every day among students. I am very satisfied and recommend this school to everyone who wants to evolve on their journey and study more about anatomy, mantras, pranaymas, everything. it's a wonderful investment that becomes negligible given the size of the content we receive. As I am not an English speaker, this course also helped to increase my vocabulary in English, making me able to teach yoga not only in Portuguese but also in English. The coursework material for the 200HR exceeded my expectations. I wanted material that was derived from yoga's roots and history and not just basic coverage of asanas. The mantras and meditation portions really helped me enhance my own practice which was my original goal. I recommend this coursework for those like me who may not want to be an instructor but just want to grow in the practice.

Even thought the vast majority of the teachings were pre-recorded videos and everything was done online I still very much got to experience the warmth, integrity and gentleness of the Vinyasa Yogashala family and its many talented instructors. Each Teacher contributed with its unique medicine and expertise, all of the administrative help was very responsive and kind throughout the process from my very first enquiry. It is my heart wish to one day travel to Rishikesh to express my gratitude and further my yogic studies in the physical. Meanwhile I think it is remarkable that such authentic and soul infused offerings exist online and I recommend it all heartedly to anyone - especially to those a little shy to get started as they'll feel charmed and very much supported :) . When it comes to Yoga, any place that manages to touch you internally , be it mental or emotional , is a good place to learn and to be grateful for and Vinyasa Yogashala is 1 such place. The people of this place, who manage it, run it & teach here- they are a family and they make you their family by the love & responsibility they share for their students. I'm someone who has done multiple TTCs and yet I was able to learn so much more especially from the Asana classes that are really good, technical & detailed. The excursions that they took us on are going to stay with us forever. The extra activities like sound healing and Kirtan were amazing experiences that were healing on so many different levels. We'll forever be grateful to Ashish ji, Tanu ji, Vinay ji, Rahul ji, Vikas ji, Shivam ji, Deepak, Prithvi, Arushi and the staff for their kindness and support.

“Begin to breathe”is the message on the panel I saw every morning just behind the teachers every day.
This is what I learned properly to do. Breathe,observe,be aware and present. Move the prana, the vital energy!
As every path you start to walk, there are ups and downs..but if you are guided by the right teachers you can reach the summit of the mountain.
I have been practicing yoga by my own since a year and half and I wanted to go deeper, know much more about yoga.
I had the chance to learn more about philosophy, pranayama,meditation which I can say.. they changed my life. Teachers are knowledgeable, always open to answer, talk and share they experience. They created a peaceful environment, familiar, involving everyone in the different activities and excursions and especially trust in yourself.
Hatha and vinyasa helped me to be more aware about my body and understand that everyone has his own pace to follow and respect. Things take time and dedication.
The school is located in Tapovan, away from the noise of the main road, which is important to relax the mind.. with an amazing view of the mountains.
Accommodation was really comfortable( good mattress), fan, hot water..the room clean and big.
Simple,fresh,good food three times daily.
Much more to say but I guess it is a kind of experience you have to experience directly.. to understand how precious it could be.
Really grateful I decided to join this course in Yogashala.. And I will take with me all the good vibes and smiles for long long time.

My experience with Vinyasa Yogashala cannot be described in just few lines. I am forever indebted for the transformation I have undergone & I know this is just a beginning. I joined the school at a time when I was at my lowest point in life and by the time I finished my course I knew I had eventually found all my answers. The decision of coming to Rishikesh for learning yoga and importantly to Vinyasa Yogashala has been the best investment of my life. This place is not just about learning asanas but so much beyond. It's been just a month since I completed my 200 hrs TTC and I already feel so much in control of my life.
My sincere & heartfelt thanks to the management of the school - Aashishji & Tanushreeji for the wonderful time. Feels like I have left a piece of me back there. The reverberations of OM chantings play constantly in my subconscious. And what a bliss that is!!

This course is a must do. I have had amazing experience with the course. Teachers are very kind, genuine and down to earth. It changed me fully. I feel more stable physically and mentally. It has improved my mental health with which I was struggling for a very long time. I feel very calm and content now. Lot of patience has been inculcated within me because of the yoga and meditation practices taught in the course. It has also helped me in my spiritual growth a lot. I am really very content. Words will never be enough to describe the way I feel. Lots of love to vinyasayogashala team. You are doing a great work. Please keep doing it.

My experience in one word was: life-changing. Not only did all the teachers enlighten me about the fact that yoga is 90% mental work, they guided me through each step to make sure that what I learn, is the right thing and the right way of doing it. It changes your life when you learn the right way to do a simple downward dog position. Apart from that, the accommodations felt just like home, so at the end of the day it was a relief to sleep in comfy bed and a clean room. The food was also great and I used to eat like 4 rotis when I thought I wasn't even hungry. There were a lot of excursions and activities in between which were the perfect break, my favourite was the sound healing session and visiting the Kunjapuri Temple. But most of all what made this school feel like home was the support that I got from all the teachers, especially Tanu ji and Ashish ji to go step by step to do things that previously seemed scary to me. If I got a second chance at choosing a school for my TTC, I would want to re-live this experience again.

Just finished the 200H TTC and I am so grateful I choose this school. The teachers were amazing so knowledgeable and helpful. Throughout the course they would answer any question and offer their support. I came here having 3 years of doing yoga and even in the first few days I was blown away by how much I actually didn't know and how much more knowledge I could get out of this course. The facilities of the school were amazing, the food provided was always super tasty and made with so much care. And most importantly the psychological support and positive reinforcement I got from Ashish, Tanu and all the teachers really made me feel like I was part of their yoga family. If you are looking for not just a yoga class but a life changing experience you should book this school without a second thought
