The Fullwell leisure centre bad managment.

The Fullwell leisure centre, since the summer of 2025, both the swimming pool and gym facilities have been closed due to what has been described as building and refurbishment works. More than a year later, the same explanations continue to be given, yet no visible progress has been made.

Now, in the summer of 2026, not only have the works not been completed, but they do not appear to have even started. What is even more concerning is that no one seems able to provide a clear timeline or any information about when the project will begin.

This situation raises serious questions about the management of the facility and the oversight of the project. It appears that either there is a lack of effective management or no meaningful action is being taken to resolve the issue. Furthermore, there seems to be little or no scrutiny from the council or the London Borough of Redbridge, despite residents continuing to pay high council tax and expecting access to properly maintained public facilities and transparent communication.

Avoid completely

Avoid completely! Horrible management from Vision RCL venues, discriminated on my party size neglecting to mention that they offer private party sessions. They don't allow any food because they're too greedy to sell theirs for an overcharged price. My wife got charged £20 for a kids portion of fish fingers. Outrageous.
I will NEVER be a customer again.

Poor communication between parents and organisation.
my son used to learn violin through school for many years ( year 1-5). however, not seen a single performance or improvement from him.
i wasted money paying for something that wasnt progressing for year.

I had an outstanding experience today…

I had an outstanding experience today thanks to Scott and Patrick, the young lifeguards at Fairlop Leisure Centre. As someone who is new to swimming and not very confident, I felt nervous about trying the deep end. Despite this, Patrick and Scott were incredibly helpful, staying with me as I ventured into deeper waters. Their support and attentiveness made a real difference. Having recently become a member of Fulwell Leisure, I can confidently recommend this great facility. After leaving Nuffield Leisure, I discovered Fulwell to be much cleaner and more organized, featuring a spacious pool, well-kept changing rooms for both men and women, spotless showers, and a neatly arranged locker room. It’s reassuring to have supportive people like Scott and Patrick to assist you in your swimming journey. In comparison, some Nuffield locations I’ve visited previously were not in the best shape. Thank you for making my first visit so unforgettable.

Today

Today, two young lifeguards named Scott and Patrick at Fairlop Leisure Centre truly made a difference for me.As someone newly venturing into swimming and still building my confidence, I felt quite anxious about going into the deep end. However, Patrick and Scott were incredibly supportive, walking alongside me as I swam to the deep side. Their guidance and attentiveness were genuinely appreciated.As a newcomer to Fulwell Leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic venue. Having transitioned from Nuffield Leisure, I can confidently say that Fulwell is cleaner and more efficiently managed. The pool is spacious, the male and female changing rooms are well-maintained, the showers are spotless, and the locker room is organized. Plus, with helpful individuals like Scott and Patrick, your swimming experience is wonderfully supported. I've visited at least three Nuffield locations, and some hadn't been in the best shape.Thank you for making my first visit truly unforgettable.

Worst Aquatics Manager at Fullwell cross

Terrible management and worst customer service one can ever get. The receptionist at Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre made an error with my Childs direct debit set up and instead of acknowledging and correcting their admin error, Vision Redbridge, which manages the centre, slapped a fine on me for late payment when the direct debit set up failed. They have no decency to acknowledge their error and have threatened to cancel my child's swimming lessons if I didnt pay the fine and sort the mess they created. Most unprofessional aquatics team. i would give them zero stars if i could.
Parents beware! and record your discussions with the receptionist or admin for your direct debit set up
