I would not recommend buying the Vitruvian+.

I paid around 3.2k for the machine, another 750 for the Pro Kit, and 1.2k for the lifetime all-access membership. For that price, I expected a premium product with premium support. That has not been my experience.

After just over a year, and without heavy or intense use, the machine stopped working properly. One day I started it up and it began flashing orange/yellow. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps: turning it off and on again, installing updates, and following the guidance from support. The issue remained.

When I contacted support, I was told I had to open the machine myself. That is unacceptable for a product that costs thousands. I did not buy a premium smart fitness device expecting to repair it myself after barely a year of ownership.

I also contacted the warranty department, opened a ticket, and followed up with polite reminders. After two weeks, I still had not received a single meaningful response.

Expensive fitness equipment should last for several years, not barely make it past the minimum warranty period. It should work as advertised, and when something goes wrong, it should be backed by competent and responsive customer service.

Based on my experience, the Vitruvian+ feels unreliable, and the after-sales support has been poor. I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

Was very happy with the product initially untill I decided to cacel my subscription in January of this year after having used it for several years.

Ever since they keep charging my CC. I've reached out to them several times but they are not responding. Terrible service for a supposedly premium brand. Very disappointed in Vitruvian!

I was enjoying everything about this machine and I didn’t have any issues with customer service until I decided to cancel my $39.00 monthly membership. My credit card was still being charged even after I cancelled my monthly membership. I’ve reached out to them to try to resolve the issues about the two months that they fraudulently charged my credit card. After I canceled my membership they changed to soft ware within my app and took away the premium workouts which is fine because it mentions that users will lose premium features after cancellation. I was only canceling my membership for a few months. This company has put a bitter taste in my mouth, because of their fraudulent actions and the lack of customer service reaching out. They use to have a way in the Vitruvian app itself to cancel membership. Now you have to do it by email. There is no customer service support number either. I reached out to Vitruvian to give them the opportunity to refund me my money and they haven’t responded. My next step is to work with my bank to resolve this issue. Vitruvian is simply being crooks while continuing to charge my credit card against my will.

Since getting the Vitruvian at the start of April, I have been training consistently three times a week on the Vitruvian using their instructor-led classes, which take about 20-30 minutes. Whilst it may not seem very long, they are great workouts and leave me feeling happily exhausted. You pack a lot in during this time and I would say I do the same (if not more) than an hour long PT session where there are longer breaks. Best all of all, I can easily find time to do this so I haven't missed a session since starting. Whilst the app needs some work, overall the trainer is a wonderful tool for consistent home workouts for people that don't have space for a proper gym or the time to go to a gym. I am totally sold on this and love it! Favourite trainer so far is definitely Shantani. She is pure joy and explains the exercises really nicely. I hope she does more classes in future! Oh, and be sure to go for the pro kit because most of the instructor led classes use all of the kit.

Would not recommend. This device requires their app to function. Since purchase, more and more features that were usable have been hidden behind their paywall subscription. And it’s not cheap. Simple functions like: notifications when workout timer is running out. Or video playing showing workout you’re doing. They also hide your data behind the paywall so you can’t sync it with Apple or anything. And there’s no way to use the machine without their app. So basically they can keep turning things off and you can’t do anything about it. I totally understand hiding workout courses behind a paywall. But the item you bought it a training machine, and you force your users to use your app, things like notifications or form videos should not be hidden behind a paywall. Neither should your data. Big red flags everywhere. Provide valuable continuous content for the subscription, don’t hinder basic user functionality to force people to pay to use their 3k machine.

Das komplette Home-Gym in einem kleinen Gerät - Tracking & Verwaltung vom Trainingsplan per App - was will man mehr?

Es gab bei mir anfangs die ein od andere Reklamation (Schäden am Gerät /Equipment), welche immer schnell und unkompliziert bearbeitet und gelöst wurden.

Sobald man neue Ideen/Vorschläge hat, kann man diese aus der App heraus mitteilen - die Antworten sind ebenfalls schnell & freundlich.

Ich hoffe auf kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der App/Software (auch wenn es nur Kleinigkeiten sind die man verbessern kann) und alles ist gut!

Also von mir -trotz des anfangs hohen Preises- eine klare Empfehlung hnd die Zukunft des Home-Gym;)

The customer service is terrible for this product. This is an expensive product and you would expect more from a service team to keep their customers happy it’s so expensive I’d avoid this as it’s going to cost you even more to work with the customer service team. Dealing with “lovely Suarez” has been anything but lovely.

Context: I paid for the pro package and it was missing the safety cables. I didn’t realise this until I noticed a tiny warning in the app that I need them. Because I do not have the 6 by 8 box and original packaging support won’t help me and want to charge me for the missing part.

Love Vitruvian, it gives me a full set of weights in the home! Of course it's spenny, but the convenience of having such easy access to resistance training is incredible. I can confirm they feel like real weights.

As an Alaskan I always give props to companies that ship up here without extra fuss, costs, and quickly. The product is very well built and reliable. Having fun with it and this type of trainer is very efficient.

The Trainer+ is a game changer for me! Don’t have to travel to a sweaty gym, set up complicated machines and load up weights. The app tracks everything and tells me exactly what to do. I’ve never been so consistent with my strength training. My husband is obsessed too! I honestly believe that everyone is going to have one of these in their homes in the near future. I’ve received so many compliments on the way I look and 3 of my friends have bought one after trying mine. The price isn’t even that expensive when you look at the benefits- less than a cup of coffee over 18 months. Can’t rave about it enough.

Vitruvian has excellent customer support: they remedied an issue with my order promptly, and also provided friendly and responsive support in onboarding and in addressing feedback...

A unique machine that helps bring strength gains in a much easier way.

I have had the Vitruvian for just over 6 months now, and my experience has been as much, if not more, than i could've ever wished for. The Vitruvian Trainer+ unit looks and feels to be well made. The easy to adjust weights and quick to move between exercises, means that my workout sessions become shorter AND more beneficial than using traditional weights or going to the gym. The App and System take a little bit to get used to, but before long it all seems to make sense. Looking forward to the future add ons to the system and updates to the app.

The Vitruvian trainer is great. I received mine as a Christmas present. Unfortunately it arrived slightly damaged. I reached out to the vitruvian customer service team, and not only did they send a new one, the picked up the damaged trainer as well. Great trainer and world class customer service. Thanks Vitruvian. Customer for life!

The Vitruvian has been a game changer for my training. I was nervous to give up free weights as I’ve been using them for strength training for 20 years. However, with the amount of resistance and different lifts the machine offers I haven’t looked back. The company is also incredibly responsive with questions or issues I’ve had. So far the machine has held up well. They are continuing to improve the software and even how the machine performs. As long as it holds up long term I can’t imagine ever going back to trekking to the gym and sharing equipment.

Great device, great workouts, lots of features, small form factor, great customer service!

Vitruvian Trainer Plus is a very powerful machine. It can produce 440 lbs of resistance in many different forms. Adaptive, static, eccentric, ladders, etc. This machine offers a safer and superior workout to traditional free weights in my opinion.
The machine is portable and compact. It can be stored under a bed or in a closet when not used. It’s not quite as smooth and polished as Tonal, lacking some of Tonal’s bells and whistles, but because it’s portable and has over double the resistance, it offers some unique advantages to Tonal and is less expensive.
I own them both and use them side by side. The Trainer Plus the most powerful adaptive fitness trainer available today and has greatly enhanced my workouts.
