Account deleted, unacceptable handling, zero responsibility

Our experience with V-Tiger was a complete failure.

Shortly after onboarding, we suddenly could no longer log in to our account. There was no warning, no notification, no explanation. After noticing the issue, we contacted customer support via the internal chat to ask what had happened. Only then were we told that our account had apparently been deleted and that the team would “take care of it.”

After that, however, nothing meaningful happened. We followed up via email and received essentially the same vague response, but no concrete solution, no timeline, and no further communication. Since then, nobody has seriously gotten back to us.

Imagine this happening to a company with tens of thousands of records and active customers. In our case, we were lucky it happened early – but the potential damage is enormous.

To be clear:
Mistakes can happen. That is not the main issue.

The real problem is how V-Tiger handled the situation. There was no proper support, no transparent explanation, no real attempt to take responsibility, and no professional follow-up. Communication simply stopped, and to this day, the incident has not been properly addressed.

This is not how you treat customers, especially when you are providing a CRM system that is supposed to be business-critical infrastructure. Losing data is bad enough. Losing it and then handling the situation this poorly is simply unacceptable.

Based on our experience, I strongly advise against using V-Tiger, especially the cloud version. This is not a reliable way to run a business.

This is a very poor CRM system

This is a poor CRM system, it takes so long to actually find what you want. You can only do 1 event/task at 1 time. AND THEN, they updated the system for the worse. Buy cheap, you buy twice. avoid this CRM at all costs.

Honest Vtiger Review

In my honest opinion, I haven't had any other CRM give this much for the price. From the sales to marketing to support, this is an all-inclusive CRM. At least for us, it is.

Sales - This has given us the ability to track our opportunity very easily while keeping all the necessary contact information, notes, pictures together. If another sales rep takes over an opportunity, it's easy for them to review everything in one place and see what comes next.

Marketing - Tracking what our clients read and click on has given us insight into what they are interested in and what type of marketing material we should provide. Overall leading to increased lead generation.

Support - As an IT company, we must have a support system and having it combined with our other departments has made it so much easier to handle. When using a different system to support, it always became a hassle going back and forth and missing improtant information. All working together is much better.

I've used other CRM's and not to say some aren't great but Vtiger has proven to be a one stop shop for us.

All our information is connected

What we love is that we have all the information from all the areas of our company connected thanks to this user friendly software. From the first call to a prospect to the mailing of invoices we can register all the steps of the sales process and every member of each department can have access to that info.
Vtiger is very useful for our daily needs and it also makes it easier for our auditors when they have to collect specific data from our administration and sales processes. It is very visual and they can see account names, dates, quotes, files... at a glance. Another area that is key for us is the one we use for our Technical Department. We are a Support Center and the employees in this department create service contracts with our customers, and open tickets in order to solve every request we receive. Reports and reminders are also fantastic tools both for the sales department and the support department. We use the Marketing features more and more in order to create lead generation campaigns. It is very useful to get info about how many contacts open an email, how many of them click on the links, etc. It is a pretty user friendly software and once you are familiarized with the module configuration area it is easy to create new connections, modules, fields etc. We really like the level of customization we can have thanks to the configuration features. However, if you are not an expert the Support Team of Vtiger always help you with anything you need, they really do their best to configure all the areas the way you need, it is amazing :)

The real CRM, easy to use and highly integrated into your company

We have been using VTiger for many years. Every day spent we realize how simple it is to manage the data introduced.
We appreciate the possibility of modifying and creating new modules to support those present to strengthen the traceability of information to the sales and support departments.
VTiger also allows you to publish a customer portal with just a few mouse clicks, providing them with another access channel to technical support.
VTiger provide also a smartphone app has solved several problems especially when you are out of the office.
Reporting is great especially when you can build your own custom metrics to report on.

vTiger is highly configurable which is…

vTiger is highly configurable which is great. It is also a necessary feature due to the lack of integrations with other resources. The price point is good for getting a CRM and if you are starting to utilize multiple tools for things included in more expensive CRM's it would be a factor in selection. For a solid configurable option at an affordable price, vTiger is a good pick.

Versatile CRM

Versatile CRM; very powerful and customizable. Our company purchased Vtiger because, after an extensive evaluation, we determined that Vtiger had the most options for customizing.

It's powerful and open ended.

If there is one downside, it is that it takes some setting up (and there is a learning curve). Other CRM products arguably have better functionality out of the box, but you're limited in what you can customize them to do. Vtiger is the opposite.

Finally, I believe that allowing for such robust customization increases the learning curve for Vtiger. However, this isn't a bad thing. If you are truly trying to configure your CRM to be useful across all of your teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) then it behooves you to understand those teams and their needs deeply. So any Vtiger admin, or whoever is in charge of implementing Vtiger at your company should be prepared to understand all the nuances of those teams' work.

There are always things to improve: I believe the user interface could be a little more friendly out of the box, but these are small complaints for the value the customization options provide.

Vtiger organized and joined our company

I use it for all the organization of the company, since a client need a quote, then we use the next part to crete a sales order, register the equipments, instruments that our storage has, it is incredible, its very funcional, We can organize all wit Vtiger.

Vtiger is very helpful for us because ir organize all the differents areas of the compane, for example, sales, support after sales, logistics. We have documents ordered in the cloud for example. If a seller wins a tender, he can upload the purchase orders to the cloud and we can all review it

I like for example, in case os the After sales support Area, I can create an asset (when a customer buy a medical equipment). I can create it with the serial number, then I cant create the guarantees, preventive maintenance, and I can also create incidents if something happens to the equipment, for example a failure and we have it as a record, so that other engineers have knowledge if something has happened to that equipment or not. Additionally I can assign a task to one of the engineers and tag it, so he is aware that he has a job to do with an asset.

We organize the storehouse, the sales areas, now they have new and great quote forms.
Our boss can now how many items we has in the storage.
Our technical support can organize their visits to the customers
Accounting area knows how much we sell and we spend.
Every employee can check the information of the customers
Logistics can check the Sales Orders at time.
The storage area can create the assets as soon as a product arrives

Vtiger review.

Vtiger is a wonderfull solution, if you are looking to manage all your customers in one software, you can create different assets for the organization that you are handling, create multiple contacts, and link organizations in different ways. Vtiger makes possible to have a record of the phonecalls you have, and even link your mail provider so you can have everything in one solution.

The only downside I had with vtiger is that is still lacking on automotization, meaning that, when I do a phonecall in my sales opportunity, the phone call is not automatically linked to the opportunity, I have to do it Manually. Aside from this, regarding to the mail manager, you have to link manually the mails from your customers to the opportunity.

Is not that those are killer features that are needed, but it surely would increase my thoughts on the solution, I really enjoy using this solution and I've been using it for about 3 years now, I know that they have very good updates and implementations in the future, and I hope to see them sooner than later!

Vtiger is an excellent tool for companies as it does integrate all levels. What does this mean? Well, Vtiger integrates all internal communications and also it adapts itself to what the company needs.
