Appalling delivery reliability

Appalling delivery reliability, repeatedly state components will arrive at x date - then on the day give another later date and then repeat. Cannot rely on them at all . Also some pricing of hardware is ludicrous. Customer service try their best but something is badly wrong with their distribution model. I am working in a commercial operation and could not recommend them as a vendor.

DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY!!

We made order for a device from this company. They sent several messages of delivery time being scheduled later. After 4 months they informed they can now get the device and payment in advance is needed. After payment was done they informed that they are not able to provide us the device as scheduled. After 5-6 months of the order date, we decided to cancel the order as we didn't need the device anymore as our customer ordered it elsewhere. After several email coversations and phone calls STILL UP TO THIS DATE WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We well turn to legal advice to recover our money from this company and advice everyone do the same.

Messy as hell

Very poor customer services. They are unable to follow-up an order and to give carrier and customer reliable informations. Next time, our customers will try to find an alternative.

VWR Shipping

Positive attributes: VWR has what you need most of the time. They also have good prices when comparing costs. These positives do not matter because there are other companies that can fulfill laboratory needs! FYI: you are not special. Negative attributes: The cost to receive purchased goods is ridiculous! Yes, VWR shipping processes create costs that are unfair to the customer. VWR processes: customer creates an order for three items, VWR creates an order(s) to their distribution center(s), distribution center(s) fulfills items, and items are sent in three different packaging from three different centers. Make it make sense. The complaint is not about the cost of shipping BUT VWR process to deliver goods. Furthermore, their customer service rep justifies their nonsense. A useless individual attempting to remedy the problem by suggesting customers use their carrier. This solves nothing. That idea is stupid and unintelligent and not very thoughtful. PUT YOURSELF IN THE CUSTOMER'S SHOES. WOULD YOU ALLOW AMAZON, MACY'S, or DOORDASH DO THIS TO YOU? VWR, you need the capability to bundle packages to be delivered all at once. Or give customers an option at the time of purchasing to decline such behavior aka being charged ridiculous shipping. VWR is causing problems with their unevolved practices. VWR is choking the delivery industry--these folks(Fedex/UPS) are already underpaid and overworked. VWR is adding more emissions to the environment--where is your suitability message? Hello!?!? What about the extra, unnecessary packaging material?!?! VWR is adding cost to the customer and they do not care. They do not have to absorb the cost. Take responsibility Company!! Does your CEO know the grave his entrusted employees are digging? Probably not! Again this does not affect VWR's pockets. Nevertheless, your days are numbered going this route. Furthermore, I need to invoice you the cost of my time in writing this, the cost of my suggestion and advice. Your ancient processes need to be reviewed. Hire a data analyst. They will see this trend and will have suggestions on the fix.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, would give 0 stars if possible. They've seriously messed up some recent orders with much longer delivery times than initially indicated (7 months instead of 24 days). When I wanted to cancel the order, this was not possible anymore as the item was "on its way from the US". Well, it's still not here after 8 weeks and it took countless phone calls to settle for a return (if the item should ever arrive). Will never order with them again even if prices are more competitive.

no service

no service , they do not give delays in the offers. They refer to their webpage" normally shipped x weeks" In our case (x=3) it is now 5 weeks , no news. If you request an offer , it is a waste of time as it is the catalog price. I will avoid this company in the future

Disaster!

It takes them too long to reply to emails. If you have some trouble they even charge you for a replacement shipping. This is business fraud! Highly disrecommend VWR for supplier. There are more reliable companies available.

Business fraud

Business fraud. Crap supplier! I had very bad experience with VWR. I bought media bottles from VWR. 5 + bottles were broken. VWR charged me on replacement. A terrible business fraud started, I experienced 1. Shipping broken glass for a investigation 2. Shipping broken glass to VRW for refund 3. Partial refund 4. ….. it was a nightmare. This supplier coms from another planet.

Unreliable, slow and Non-responsive

When dealing with VWR they can take up to 1 working week to response to my emails. Further anything that is stock may take an additional 2 - 3 weeks to arrive with no answers to why.

Purchased goods from VWR 2 boxes of 1L bottles firstly they only sent 1 box sent several emails asking about the other box in response they sent me a POD of the first box received then after many emails and phone calls they sent the second box. This was a box of 500ml bottles and not the 1L bottle i asked for. another 4 weeks has passed and nothing finally i got a response saying they're going to collect the wrong parts and ship the correct parts which arrived on the 21st of July. i placed my order in March !!

Ingen af medarbejderne ved hvad det er de handler med.
Virksomheden virker kun som en mellemstation altså skaffer og tager intet retur.

We purchased a $1500 refrigerator that…

We purchased a $1500 refrigerator that once we received it was all smashed up. Granted this is an issue with the shipping company VWR uses but we are being held hostage and cannot get a replacement until they deal with the shipping company. Not good service and I will let everyone I know in the field who utilizes the services about it.

A warning for other consumers

A warning for other consumers. I ordered Purell sanitizer online at the start of the pandemic and was prepared for the in-demand items to be backordered or delayed in shipping; customer service was frustrating and negligent. After creating an account and ordering online, 3 weeks later I get a notification that my credit card had been used w/out my consent. The order for this fraudulent charge was 2900$!!!! Then when I called VWR, they were not able to give me any information and the customer service rep who was clearly working from home with her kids yelling in the background and spoke little english offered no help. She was ill equipped to help me research this issue and kept repeating that she was "new" and "cannot help". Then, another 4000$ charge was made! Because I could get nowhere with VWR, I had to cancel my credit card because in these stressful times, what consumer can afford these exorbitant and fraudulent charges? Finally, a VWR rep called me and said that both charges were made manually by their staff, meaning it was not done via an online purchase. When I requested further details because this information indicated the fraudulent activities were initiated by their employee and I asked if they had a quality check process to prevent this, the rep offered nothing except that it was an employee and that was all the info they could provide. During this already stressful time with the pandemic, I recommend saving yourself headache and potentially fraudulent charges and to deal with a company that you know has better policies and customer service.
