We manufacture premium quality, application-specific tapes & adhesives. Our mission is to provide solutions to common construction problems. Here at Walther Strong, we are dedicated to making your lives easier. Pioneers of Deck Tape since 2012 At Walther Strong, we saw what the industry was missing: a purpose-built solution to prevent rot and prolong the life of decking structures from the ground up. So, we developed Deck Tape — the first tape engineered specifically to protect decking subframes from moisture ingress, UV exposure, and weathering.

Top quality & great service
I ordered some decking tape in a hurry and it arrived the next day no problem. Also phoned them for advice which was a cinch - really helpful and knowledgable staff - can't recommend highly enough - and some great products.

Seems good, shame about the delivery
Can't attest to the efficacy of the tape as its only been down a week but it was delivered quick enough with some sweets. Shame about the only delivery options being DPD and adding a quarter of the price on top of a single roll.

Easy to apply to joists for my decking- I believe it will add a further level of protection to them
And a thank for the biscuits- they “helped” the installation!

Deck Tape
First time to use this tape. Appears to be good quality and will prolong the substructure of the decking. I believe it was worth buying and would recommend.

Good overall
Order arrived ahead of schedule. Tape is easy to cut and the backing comes off easily. I have had some issues with it sticking to wet wood but other than that all ok so far. It is an expensive product and the order price can soon mount up, mine was over £200.00 would have been good to get free shipping at that cost, but as long as it stops the framing from rotting, then I suppose it will have been worth it.
Update 11/05/21 Am having shipping refunded, as should have been free at that order value! Didn't know that myself and wasn't expecting anything, was just a thought based on the order value. Well done Walther Strong, excellent customer service 😁, unlike another company I am dealing with at the moment, unfortunately.

Afternoon Paul,
Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience - we really appreciate it. In regards to still paying shipping when your order was over £200 - we actually do offer free shipping but it is easy to miss if you are not looking for it ! - I have contacted my colleague Maxine who is going to get in touch and arrange a refund for your shipping fee :)
Have a great day !

It does stick fast to the wood to keep it safe from continuous wet surfaces, stickier than old-fashioned fly paper. Covers and seals strip wood, decking bolts and brackets. Once you learn how to handle the self adhesive tape and the separation layer, its plain sailing , can be torn off readily
