I wouldnt order from here again

I placed an order for a gift basket with the expectation that it would arrive in time for the recipient’s birthday, especially since the website advertises a “1-day delivery” option. Unfortunately, this claim is misleading.

Despite the company name, the baskets are not actually shipped from Washington, which means delivery times are no different than ordering from anywhere else in the country.

After placing my order, I contacted the shipping carrier to confirm delivery status and was told they had not yet received the package. However, when I reached out to Washington Baskets, I was informed that USPS already had the item. This conflicting information left me with no clarity on where the order actually was.

I placed the order on April 8th, and it was not delivered until April 15th, far from the advertised 1-day delivery timeframe. As a result, the basket did not arrive in time for the birthday it was intended for and ultimately was a waste of money as I had to keep a basket I didnt need.

Customer service was also disappointing. The representative seemed to be reading from a script and was unable to offer any meaningful assistance or resolution. I was told that once the item is delivered, a refund is not possible, leaving me stuck with a $290 purchase that failed to serve its purpose.

Overall, this was a frustrating experience due to misleading shipping claims, lack of transparency, and unhelpful customer support.

However, we take full responsibility for the conflicting information you received regarding the tracking status and the confusion surrounding our shipping origins. We also apologize that our support team’s response felt scripted and did not provide the level of assistance you deserved for such a significant purchase.

I spent some time selecting Easter food…

I spent some time selecting Easter food I thought my son would enjoy and the company substituted most of that with food he wouldn't enjoy--gluten free and sugar free. Trail mix instead of chocolate. Etc. I honestly thought they had mixed up my basket with someone else's. What is really bad is that they failed to take responsibility and said I should have read the fine print about substitutions on their website.

I just got this third response from Customer Service. The Easter basket was already late. This was "the rare case" where the entire basket was substituted for items not really appropriate such as sugar-free and gluten-free. I have to smile when they end the letter hoping we enjoyed the overall experience:

As outlined in our substitution and refund policies on our website, unavailable items may be replaced with similar products of equal or greater value, and substitutions are not eligible for refunds or compensation.

We truly appreciate your understanding and hope the recipient enjoyed the thoughtful gesture and overall experience.

Great company

The Beasley they have are very durable and well priced. I’ve got several and they have lasted the test of time and some rowdy puppies.

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed by the extraordinary delay, lack of communication, missing the Brush, missing the 'wood file', the plant was a succulent and the board is not what was advertised.

Even worse, the delivery was left in the middle of the driveway at 830pm last night... the champagne would have exploded as it froze.

This was a terrible experience and so not worth the expense... horrible

My purchase was damaged during delivery…

My purchase was damaged during delivery and never arrived. I recived multiple contradictory emails regarding a refund. To date I still have not received a refund. I finally got a human on the phone and they said 3-7 days - it has been 7 days since my purchase was damaged and not delivered - still waiting on money back. Website gives scam and AI vibes. I should have thought twice.

I ordered a $135 personalized basket with 10 carefully selected items for a friend in need. Only 1 of the 10 items I chose was actually included. The rest were substituted without notice, one item was expired, and even the personal message I wrote wasn’t included. When I reached out, I received a generic, automated response citing their substitution policy—no real acknowledgment of the issue or the thought I put into the gift. While the basket did arrive on time (credit for that), I would’ve gladly accepted a delay if it meant delivering what I actually ordered. Sadly, this experience was misleading, impersonal, and left both me and my friend disappointed.

Once again, Washington Baskets delivered on a great gift for a friend’s recovery. While I wasn’t able to be there for her in person, selecting the perfect items for an easy, delicious, flexible dinner gave me and I hope her some comfort! The options were wonderful and the delivery went as scheduled and planned.

Wrong basket, terrible attitude. Never again!

They delivered the wrong basket, and when I called and emailed about it, their response was anything but apologetic, instead referring me to their terms and conditions, and stating they have the right to change the order. But did not even send an email to inform me about it!! I hadn't even asked for a refund or replacement, but they launched into a defensive tirade about their delivery. Won't ever ever ever use them again.

Fraud Company

This business lies on there website. It said the basket would be delivered on May 11th, on a Sunday. I called on Friday just to confirm the details. When I called, the lady over the phone told me my basket would not be delivered until Wednesday, and that weekends do not count as business days. No where on there website does it say that. My refund is currently being processed.

Nice gift basket

I ordered from this company, then regretted it after reading the reviews and being told on the tracking system that my order would arrive 4 days later than expected. I emailed and received a reply to say the parcel would arrive one day later than the originally-agreed delivery (which was still ok). It did indeed arrive that day, it was what I had ordered and my Dad was delighted with it. The website isn’t brilliantly informative and a bit tricky to navigate, but it all worked out very well in the end.

this is an AI generated website that is fraudulant. They will not deliver your basket as promised, and when you complain, they will send you AI generated emails that have the same text no matter what you say.
