We love our water babies lessons, our instructor Claire is amazing, she makes the lessons so much fun, super engaging for babies and parents. She's always very informative, takes the time to make sure we understand each activity, safety and babies reactions.

Have been with water baby’s for almost 2 years , initially the service was very good however this soon changed . Our first instructor went on maternity leave and water baby's clearly was not able to appropriately organise cover as we had at-least one session per month cancelled due to staffing or lack of . Moved venue and the same concerns with staffing were present . Not what you expect of a company of this magnitude and expense . Quality admin and forward planning leaves a lot to be desired. Some locations I believe are lovely the two locations we went to in Milton Keynes often left the pool cold , strong smell of urine in the toilets and lack of hygiene more often than not . Not ideal for young babys who can not yet regulate their temperature . Though this is also a venue difficulty water baby’s are responsible for ensuring the venues they work with are suitable and up to standard. Unfortunately would not recommend due to the inconsistency and value for money .

Absolutely love taking my children to water babies, Nick is incredible and she taught my daughter from 7 months old until almost 5. My son is now swimming with Nick and is equally loving it! Highly recommend Water Babies, it’s so worth the money.

My little girl learn something new every week and he love her lesson teacher,we are very happy that we chose WaterBabies. 😊

We've tried swimming lessons for Poppy (now 7yo) before at the David Lloyd gym we go to, but it was a shambles. Teachers often didn't show up and when they did they didn't pay much attention and made it a chore.

This is the polar opposite of Water Babies. Rachel, the teacher, is hands-on, approachable, supportive and - crucially - makes swimming enjoyable and learning fun. Poppy looks forward to her sessions and laughs during them while simultaneously learning to swim sooner. The way Rachel turns learning techniques into games makes them less 'taught' and overly formally structured and instead makes them seem achievable and fun. It being a small group obviously helps this dynamic, but that's another reason why Water Babies is so good. I honestly can't recommend them enough.

The Waterbabies underwater photoshoot was such a special experience! The team were amazing at making Fred feel calm and confident when they took his pic underwater — and the photos are just stunning. It’s incredible to see your little one so at ease in the water. A beautiful keepsake we’ll treasure forever.

Teacher is always really engaged and pool facilities mean it’s never been stressful to get changed.
I miss the old structure of levels before the islands and characters

Great lessons, and flexible

We have been swimming with Waterbabies with our eldest for 3 years, since he was 8 weeks old, and he has loved every second. We are now swimming with our youngest too, and he is enjoying the lessons just as much.
Both boys absolutely adore their teacher Claire, as do we as parents. She is kind, friendly and fun, and makes learning safety skills such a joy for them.
We have had to move classes over the years, including missing classes for holidays or illness etc, and have always found the staff at HQ super helpful and accommodating. We have also had issues with pools being broken, which is of course not the fault of Waterbabies, and they have always gone out of their way to help rearrange classes etc when I've called.

Great classes, gives your little one a lot of confidence inside and outside the pool.

Joining Waterbabies has been the best decision ever. Our baby girl was born low birth weight and we really wanted her to be able to enjoy swim lessons. Waterbabies has made it possible by offering a hydro pool where the temperature is warmer so it means she is comfortable. The lessons are so positive and rewarding. Seeing her grow in confidence every Sunday is heart warming. Waterbabies is for all children! They are easy to reach out to aswell. Highly recommend signing up :)
