Great lesson progression and fantastic for water confidence
We took our eldest son swimming at water babies from 6 weeks old for the first 18 months of his life and now as a two year old he is very water confident: independently and safely gets in and out of the pool by himself, can swim to the side and hold on when close by independently, is confident moving around the pool and happy going under water. The structure and progression of the lessons is really impressive and what I think makes it so much better than other swim lesson providers (having tried a couple of others since) and makes the extra cost worthwhile compared to others. We have now started our second son (at 2 months) back to Water Babies. Lots of good things to say.

Good so far
I enjoy the lessons and so does Ernie. They are a good pace, not too slow. We can see how he is getting more comfortable in the water and he is starting to respond to the commands.

I absolutely love these classes
I absolutely love these classes. I started them with my son when he was around 10 weeks old. The class is so well organized and the teachers are very knowledgeable and well trained. It’s a great way to spend time with my son and he is so actively engaged.

"Hi R P, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad to hear you’re enjoying the warm water and that you've had a positive experience with our lessons.
We hear your frustrations regarding class timings and our catch-up policy.
Regarding timings of classes, we appreciate when you have more than one child swimming, swimming them at classes close together or back-to-back is ideal, however due to number of swimmers and the variety of swimming levels this is not always something we can offer.
Availability for catch-up lessons is pending space and availability. We can only offer catch-up lessons when a spot opens in another suitable class for your little one’s age and ability. We do rely on people letting us know they are unable to attend, as this then opens the spaces for a catch-up. We know this can be tricky to coordinate, and we apologise that the current availability hasn't met your needs, however you do have 6 months from missing a class to take the catch -up. If you would like to contact us, we will be happy to check availability for you.

fab lessons
We love our lessons with April she is fab. The location is ideal for us too with a nice warm pool. Was great to meet mums with babies at a similar age/stage & build new friendships.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
We have loved our swimming lessons at water babies. My little boy started just before he was 10 weeks now he’s coming up to 6 months. We have also done an underwater photoshoot which was AMAZING.

Confidence in water
Slowly building confidence in water, but most of all cohen looks forward to his lessons due to April’s patience with him. He was extremely nervous when he first joined and is now jumping off the float

My daughter’s teacher Dan is fantastic
My daughter’s teacher Dan is fantastic, his style of teaching, kindness and approach to my daughter has enabled my daughter to really excel in developing her skills and confidence. Our experience at water babies is amazing and it is hugely thanks to Dan :)
Also being able to still swim at a separate time and day to usual weekly lesson due to illness is such a great thing and was easily sorted by ringing the office.
We love water babies and will continue ti attend for as long as we can!

the best swimming classes for anxious parents and unsure babies
i was so worried about starting waterbabies with my little one.. i’d heard from different people about how you need to dunk your baby etc etc.. and i was sooo worried i would be made to dunk my baby straight away.. however this was not the case at all! .. my baby wasn’t a huge fan and did get a bit upset, but her teacher, Hayley, has been so super patient and honestly some of her first lessons, my baby would cry and end up asleep on my chest, just spending time in the pool.. but after 5 weeks of allowing my baby to take the lead and let us know what she has happy with.. she did her first underwater swim 🥰 and now several weeks later, my girl is actually enjoying her time in the pool and is so content with every activity… i can’t thank Hayley enough for not only making it a positive experience for my girl, but also for me too (it’s really not nice having an upset little one, and the reassurance I received meant the world).. so honestly waterbabies has been an amazing experience, and we will be attending for a long time to come yet 🤍

We absolutely love Mondays because that’s when our lessons with waterbabies are! The skills my little one has learned throughout have been amazing and the teachers are so knowledgable, supportive and brilliant! We’ve attended since my little one was 12 weeks old and he’s now 8 months and loves swimming!
