Underwater photoshoot
Our underwater photoshoot was great! Very very well organised and knew where you were to be and what to do at all times. The staff knew when it was too much for the babies and knew what to do to make them more comfortable.
The changing rooms at this location were slightly cold and the pool was quite noisy but not overly busy.

The team do try their best to make sure that it is well organised and is a good experience for all of our parents and swimmers. Loving our swimming lessons so far
Loving our swimming lessons so far. Our wee one is 4 and had never been to swimming lessons so far. In only a couple of sessions, his confidence in the water grew so much!
I love that you go in with your child and they learn skills without armbands. It's all through strategic holding of the child and pool noodles. Can't wait to see him progress!

Teachers are fab. Highly recommend
This is my 3rd time completing waterbabies. Teachers have all been excellent. Facilities in Dalkeith are great with plenty room for changing and nice warm training pool (after initially being in the hydro pool).

We’re both water confident!
Teacher Louise & Teacher Jen have been amazing in Rory’s first year of swimming. He has gained so much confidence in the water and loves to kick and splash! He enjoys holding on to the side and trying to climb out too! As a parent, I now also have the confidence to take Rory into a pool even if i’m on my own.

The lessons are brilliant + so is our teacher. My second little one to swim with WB. Only thing that stops it being 5* is the facilities changing rooms. They are freezing + not cleaned enough.

We love our swimming class
We love our swimming class, Stephania our instructor is incredible and such a good teacher who is brilliant with the wee ones. My son is gaining confidence and safety skills in the water and having lots of fun at the same time.

Really fun & safe way to teach kids swimming
The instructors really engages with the kids, class size not too big and allows some 1-2-1 teaching.
The class is both fun and active, this is one of the highlights to the week filled with excitement.
Most important aspect, it teaches water safety for the kids.

Fun lessons
My lb has always loved water babies, he did have the 1year wobble but we kept going and just did what he wanted to do. Now all he wants to do is be u see the water.

Great for babies, less so for toddlers
Water babies had been great when my son was a baby. But as he's got older I've been less impressed. The teachers are all fabulous and are so lovely and great with the kids, but the class sizes are just too big and it really negatively impacts the lesson. Now that he's 3 I think we might be moving on.

We do keep class numbers as small as we can to be able to continue running them. We strive to provide a positive and enriching environment for all our students and will take your feedback into consideration.

Friendly reassuring and very accommodating
We have been taking our little one to water babies for the last few months since she was 4 months old. Due to commitments we also ended up changing days and a couple of times we were unable to make it, and water babies has been terrific and extremely accomodating, and they don't just give you a blanket "no, you have paid for it and if you miss it you miss it", they have always given us options on terms of catch up or refunds - they are definitely not the cheapest option, esp the photo shoot and the price of photos is definitely very expensive, however I will still give them 5 stars as they were definitely not pushy for sales and it's just emails which I find extremely easy to deal with. All the staff are very friendly and brilliant and we love going to the sessions.

I really enjoy the lessons progressing…
I really enjoy the lessons progressing and changing each week, allowing me to see my little one learn new skills. The instructors all have been lovely and informative. With a great focus on safety. Elise, who we normally have, has been great, she is patient and takes time to explain new skills, and the babies respond well to her. My little girl loves her lessons.
Only down side has been a few lessons being cancelled, including fairly last minute cancellations. Thankfully these are made up for and their website is easy to use to track the lessons and skills we’re working on. It’s also slightly more expensive than other options for swimming lessons around, but has a great focus on using repetitive and clear instructions (I.e. name, are you ready… go!) to help you little ones know what to do if they ever fell in a pool.

Charlie is loving his swimming lessons with water babies ,was off ill for 2 weeks and since going back the smiles and excitement in his face speaks for itself ,

Excellent swimming lessons
Water Babies swimming classes are excellent. Louise the instructor is attentive and always makes sure that both babies and parents are comfortable. Well structured classes are fun and we have seen a big change in our little one. I would highly recommend.
