Disgraceful

Another month later and again none of my PA’s have been paid. Refusing to return calls or answer my calls. Despite me ringing a week ago to ensure we didn’t have a repeat of last month where PA’s didn’t get paid and I spent a full day trying to resolve.

DO NOT PAY STAFF

Absolutely terrible payroll service. We constantly have issues with missing wages and late payments. Every single month our entire care team has to spend all day chasing them because we haven't been paid at all, despite our employer submitting time sheets on time every month, and calling them a week before payday to make sure we will be paid and purple promising we will be. It creates unnecessary stress for staff who rely on being paid for our work on time.
They also fail to send wage slips, which is a basic part of payroll and something employees are legally entitled to. Trying to contact them to fix these issues is impossible, phones go unanswered and messages are never returned despite the voicemail saying they'll call back within 2hrs. No enrolment into a pension either.
Because they are so unresponsive, our employer ends up spending all day trying to chase them for us, often having to involve the local authority just to get problems sorted. This should not be necessary for a payroll company that is supposed to manage payments professionally.
Overall the service is completely unreliable, extremely difficult to deal with, and causes ongoing problems for staff and employers. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to look elsewhere.

Why do the council use this service

I have tried to be patient but as a disabled person i need my PAs to be paid they are supposed to be make things easier
Their CEO Mike Adams is supposed to be a leader in the the disablity field how about he leads his team to provide a responsive serve thats isn't rude and doesn't ignore disabled people

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company ! DO NOT USE AND DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Causing nothing but problems, their payroll department can't process any payments on time they are always late. One of our carers has not been paid for over a month.
No one answers the phone nor reply to emails unless you constantly chase! Suppose to take the pressure off and make it easier but they are doing the opposite.

A shocking company

A shocking company, not entirely sure why they have a phone number or email address, as the communication is terrible and they never get back to you. I’ve been chasing them now for 2 1/2 years to sort out unpaid Hmrc PAYE bills and it its like getting blood out of a stone from anyone at the company. They’re very good at putting their heads in the sand.

Shut this company down!

Quite frankly the only way this company could improve is to be shut down. They are an absolute disgrace of a company, every staff member seems to be completely incompetent! They unlawfully change rules, they unlawfully withhold wages, they dont answer their phones or reply to emails. These people have caused me untold amounts of stress and anxiety over the last three years. It's not just me, anyone you talk to and mention purple you can see their face drop, I do not understand how this company is allowed to treat people with such disrespect. Who is watching them, why are your staff not trained properly?????? Non payment of wages, no pay slips, no acknowledgement, no payslip summaries, no contact. If you weren't doing anything wrong you would answer the phones. Absolute disgrace, if I were their staff I would never admit I worked there through pure shame & disgust.

Dreadful Experience

I have been paid by this company for the past 7 years. On average once a year I don't get paid and then it's impossible to reach anyone by email or by phone. Their attitude when you do speak to someone is that they don't care. EMPLOYERS - These people will give you a bad name. EMPLOYEES - Beware these people are a layer between you and the Employer allowing them to flout employment law with Impunity.

Gross Incompetence

After receiving an imcomplete payslip in November, I asked for more details.
61 communications later, I still have no response.
Calls to account managers never get to them. Messages sent by the helpful admin person Alex are ignored.
Social Services have got a different agent to assist the client so this should all end soon.
Advice to anyone uses thier services , is to get anohter agent.
This company seems to do everything that is required to get grants and funding but then cannot conduct the business that they are tasked with.
I will be making a formal complaint after getting the information I have been requesting and teh new agent is in place.

Disgraceful. Unreliable.

This company go under the name purple zest for the Doncaster area and took over from penderels. They took over spring last year and for the first 3 months I had to fight for our wages ( 2 p.a’s for one gentleman)I thought the teething problems had been fixed but I am back to having to chase wages again. I send reminder emails to payroll a week before wages are due in, I send them in early to avoid any problems…. And they still can’t pay us on time. No one answers the emails from the payroll department. I am never allowed to speak to someone in higher authority. I am currently being promised I’ll be paid by 6pm tonight when I should have been paid 3 days ago ( doubtful it will be tonight more likely tomorrow morning but they try to appease you with that little fib) I’m going to complain again to Doncaster council as the service isn’t fit for purpose. It’s not fair… we shouldn’t have to beg to be paid. This months excuse was that they didn’t receive the time sheets/payslips from our accountant… which is rubbish as the accountant always copies and pastes me into the email sent to payroll department and they was sent weeks ago. Just constant excuses.

** just to say, it’s now past 6pm … the time I was promised I would be paid by ….and low and behold….. no pay. Shambolic company

No Communication

Well what a company, moved over to this service from Ideal, sent me information on the 17th October to say they was taking over my sons PA still hasn't been paid which was due the 18th October I've sent 5 emails rang nearly every day with promises of someone will ring me back. Absolutely disgusting at the end of the day would they go to work.and have to keep waiting to be paid. Something needs to be done or I will see if I can move to aanother company.

Stay away from this company!
Complete scam. Local authorities should not be giving vulnerable persons, this companies information to help them manage their payments.
Taking money from vulnerable people and then not providing them adequate service, not paying their carers
Ignore complaints, Ignore concerns!

I have never experienced such a dreadful company I thought they were bad enough when they were Essex pass but have not improved one bit
The terrible experience I and my work colleague are having regarding their handling of wages and our pension is a disgrace none payments of wages and nonpayment of pension, but the worst part is that they took our pension, held it in their bank account and for months, which is fraudulent, we have lost invested interest, and to top it all they have decided to reduce the % amount they are taking without our consent
They will only correspond by email won’t sit round the table to sort their wrong doings
I am now taking it to an ombudsman

This payment compay is a terrible. Avoid at all cost if you can....
I've had nothing but problems with them in the 4 years since having my wages organised by this company.
They NEVER ring you back when they say they will & always fob you off, pretending to help or its not their department they'll ring you back & Never do.

I'm still waiting for wageslips the be emailed, from last year even though I've asked via email & calls.
They were taking my pention out my wages but it wasn't being paid into my pention pot. After many phone call they finally paid my pention, but I lost 5 months of investment as they kept my money & didnt invest it straight away. Even with my pention company ringing them, they didnt do anything. If I didnt check & keep ringing, I honestly believe they would of stolen my money.

Infact, they even changed the amout my boss pays me in pention & I cant get my old allowance back. My boss was paying 5% & matching me, now they have changed it to 3% & i can't get my old allowance back as Purple filled in the wrong information.

When we first joined this company they didnt pay me or the 5 other staff for 3months, my boss had to pay us with her savings & I had to pay her back when we was finally paid.

Today im waiting for my wages & payslip, I've called the compay, but they are not taking calls.

Its a discusting company & its diabolical how they treat people. All this happens to all my bosses 5 other staff too.
I am a carer & look after my bosses disabled daughter, my boss uses Purple for the wages. She is now going to do a training course to do the wages herself when she retires as she is also disgusted by this company WE ARE PURPLE....

There is many more instances but I can remember them all as there is too many.
