Very prompt with coming out to assess my vehicle, reasonable offer and immediate payment. They came about a week later to tow my van away just as agreed. No complaints and was a very smooth process. Nice guys to work with as well. Will use again if needed in the future. Pretty sure they are the Bedford location.

They told me that they would give me $1500 for my car went back a couple weeks later to sell it because I had no other car options and they offered me $1000. Said it was due to tax season. Why such a big jump? Crazy

Our team was right that tax season has a real effect on used-car pricing. Federal and state tax refunds typically peak between mid-February and early April, and that influx of cash drives a meaningful spike in used-car demand. Buyers who have been holding off on a purchase use that money to move forward, which lifts prices across the board for several weeks. Looking at the timing, your previous visit was approximately one month ago, in mid-March — right at the height of that tax-refund-driven demand and the optimal window to sell. Once that demand cools, prices soften across the market, and they soften fastest for older vehicles with documented reconditioning needs, because the buyer pool for those vehicles narrows considerably outside peak season. Broader market conditions over the past month have only added to that softening.
That said, we understand how frustrating it is to hear two different numbers from us, even with a market explanation behind it. Our team should have walked you through this context more fully so you understood exactly why the offer had moved between visits. We're pleased we were ultimately able to make an offer that reflected current market conditions and that you were happy to accept on the day.
