Very disappointed/frustrated/angry with this company, I sent 5 Mega Drive games along with various books and CDs, this was verified by another before the box left my premises, strangely all mega drive games are listed as being “missing”, so were they stolen in transit or what? feel completely ripped off and would not recommend

quick payout. card reader needs improving, can not find so many books and audio needs to be sharper need a minimum lower limit as £7.50 takes some getting to, especially when offers are mainly low 20p against competition average 48P. but will continue to use every 2 months

Totally reliable and professional service

I have been selling books from my collection that are now no longer required through the service provided by We Buy Books. It is easy set up an account, either online or using their App. The latter is slightly easier as you can scan the barcodes of the books via your phone's camera.

On the occasion that one of my books has an unrecognised ISBN, an email to WBB will often tell me if they can accept that book, and what code to use. Their customer service always replies promptly.

Delivery is also easy, as WBB offers different methods for you to send the books - even collection from your door. The parcel has a tracking number so you can follow its progress until you get paid.

I opted to have the money put into my PayPal account and you can receive payment in other ways.

Overall I highly rate WBB and can say that it is beyond a 5-star service, with good customer service/ response, timely payments and easy to use website/ App making it easy to identify which books they can/ cannot accept for sale.

I accidentally included a book in my sale and I didn't know it's value or that it was a signed copy because it belonged to my sister not my Dad who I was acting on behalf of. We Buy Books had offered me £4.80 for a book worth at least £100. As soon as my sister told me how valuable the book was, I contacted WeBuyBooks immediately. I contacted them less than 24 hours of them having received my book to ask to buy it back and they told me they had already sold it.
How could they have known from a barcode the book was signed making it even more valuable than the similar ones online going for between £80 - £170? I expect them to make money from selling items on but not on this scale. I believe they have acted dishonestly. They have not offered me a fair price for the book signed or not signed.
They would happily have not paid me for a book if it was not in the condition they expected (you can't tell that from a barcode). Why doesn't it work the other way? I don't believe for one minute they sold on the book that quickly, they just didn't want to sell it back to me for the price they'd offered me for it. I will not be using this company again, it has left me with a disgusted feeling of having been exploited.

Good App,good prices, quick and fair checking procedure and Payment received very quickly so what's not to like.

Farce of a business and complete scammers. 2.3 stars reviews on other book sites I wouldn't be surprised if most of these were bots or not authentic. Even as I write this people have left bad reviews within the last 1 hour.

I sent 100 books in two boxes, they claim many of the items were missing WHICH IS A LIE as I scanned and packed all my items at the same time and they say the order arrived intact without damage to the boxes. The CDs I sent were all in perfect condition as I checked them individually and the covers were in perfect condition and the CDs without scratches.

MY ITEMS, MY PROPERTY has allegedly been 'recycled' WITHOUT MY CONSENT and apparently this is in their terms and conditions that they can take your property and 'dispose' of it if THEY deem it suitable or it's under £3 which is in their terms and conditions that they are well aware nobody reads.

In addition to me asking for ALL my items to be RETURNED I have to pay for the return AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY before they even PAY THE SELLER or finish the processing evaluation to determine how much you may receive THEY LIST YOUR ITEMS FOR SALE BEFORE CONFIRMATION OF PAYING YOU!!!!

If they sell your items without paying you or your consent they will also deduct that from your packaging.

In their T's&C's apparently from the moment the courier collects the items and BEFORE THEY HAVE PAID YOU it becomes their property 😂😂😂😂😂.

I will NEVER use this company again and I would recommend anybody selling their books TO STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE COWBOY SALESPEOPLE.

You've only paid me for one now of books. Two lots were booked, in two separate boxes picked up at the same time. What's happened to the payment for my second box of books please?

Used two other companies before I found this one, they were slow and tried to pay me short for books they claimed not to have received. I had to complain before they refunded me. In contrast I got paid the amount offered without issue service was quick and easy.

I have a lot of books to dispose of before downsizing and We Buy Books made the process of listing, posting and being paid so easy. Every step was explained and I was kept informed of where in the process I was. So friendly and efficient and well recommended.

#2662783. You are lying about the contents in the box I sent. Only one book was missing and I even added a note, but they made disappear many and didn't pay for them. I'm sure you are selling them now. I even had a chat asking to remove one book which they did, Claro 1, then I asked to remove another one, Claro 2, I waited over 10 minutes for a response and told in the chat I wouldn't include it, then mentioned it in a note inside the box. I have been scammed. Will never use you again and have told everyone I know of this experience.
