Maureen has been fantastic. She's always very polite and professional. She never misses anything and even helps with changing the bed sheets when required. She fast but thorough. We always look forward to her visit, because we know she does a great job.

This is the first time I've ever given a bad review, I always try and find something positive.
We've been with Well Polished Bournemouth for 6 weeks. 2 weeks cleaners went sick, 1 week complete no show, 1 week day changed, a change of management (seemingly for the worse) and we've had 3 different cleaners. No refund for a no show as we were offered a clean the following week, just a few days before the next routine clean. One cleaner used stainless steel polish to clean laminate kitchen work surfaces and another tried to use bees wax furniture polish on the basins and sinks. We have forfeited our notice period fees as we really don't want anymore cleaners from this company anywhere near our home. There are no redeeming qualities for this company.

Had a deep clean which left me wanting as missed the areas I wanted to clean on ringing the office to tell them that the areas I wanted was missed despite several requests to leave the areas that I could do and do the areas I couldn't do Ally was extremely responsive and rectified the situation she sent shamim and she did the areas that required doing to an extremely high standard I've now got a regular cleaner that not only cleans properly she has sn extremely pleasant manner that put us at ease straight away thank you

For just over a year we have had Corinna come to do a weekly clean . Mainly the stairs, landing & hallway, lounge kitchen toilets x2 & the bathroom which have never looked so good!
Corinna prefers to use her own products & hoover & always does an excellent job. A very pleasant person to have around the house.
Regular communication from our local Well Polished Office to check if I am happy with the quality of work.
On the odd occasions of illness ( very rarely) or holidays I am offered an alternative cleaner which has always worked out well.
I would definitely recommend this company.

My neighbour(I have his permission) recently bereaved employed well polished Swansea to give his home a good clean. He asked particularly that the kitchen be given the most attention has it had become covered in nicotine from his deceased partners smoking. The cleaner came in on a Friday and spent 4 hours in the home. My neighbour asked my opinion of the work done. On inspection I proved to him that basically nothing had been done, and to cancel a further visit for Monday (which he did). My wife and I spent 3 hours cleaning the kitchen, and even things that didn't need moving were covered in grime and nicotine.Even counter surfaces had not been cleaned. The conservatory had had a wipe but not to my standards. The lounge had had a quick flick of the duster and the large rug had just been swept around.On lifting the rug we found it to be filthy and untouched. We spent a further 3 hours the next day on the downstairs toilet and the bathroom. I was appalled to hear what this company had charged for basically pretending to clean. We didn't take any payment for our work and we had been thorough even though we are both in our 70's

Organising the initial clean was easy and Yvonne was friendly and helpful finding out exactly what we needed. Our cleaner Diane is superb, always punctual, friendly and does an amazing job. My whole family feels the benefit of her hard work and knowing the house is always clean is fantastic. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Well Polished provide a very punctual thorough and friendly cleaning service. If my cleaner cannot come for some reason, Well Polished always quickly find me a relief cleaner. A very good service from start to finish which I highly recommend.

Been a customer for many years with very few, if any complaints

From the initial enquiry through to completion this was a pleasant process. The cleaner was punctual and thorough. The agreed scope was attended in full. This service is thoroughly recommended

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Well Polished and would strongly caution others before using their service.

We booked a cleaner for two hours, specifying that our living room was the priority. However, despite this being clearly communicated, the cleaner ignored our request and spent the entire time in the kitchen—which was not our main concern. Worse still, the cleaner caused significant damage to our kitchen cupboards, stripping off large portions of paint. This has left us with an unexpected repair cost that Well Polished has refused to acknowledge.

When raising the issue, customer service was completely unhelpful. Initially, we were only offered a £20 refund out of a £50 booking, which doesn’t even begin to cover the damage. We then escalated the complaint, only to be met with dismissive responses and no real attempt to resolve the issue fairly.

What’s particularly frustrating is that Well Polished claims to have £1m public liability insurance for peace of mind, yet they refuse to process a claim for damage caused by one of their own cleaners. Their response? They say their cleaners are self-employed, meaning they take no responsibility—so where does that leave the customer? Apparently, with zero protection.

If Well Polished is purely an introductory agency that washes its hands of any liability, then what exactly are customers paying for? If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own.

This company talks a big game about customer satisfaction and service guarantees, but in reality, they offer none. I strongly advise anyone considering them to think twice before booking, as you may find yourself in the same situation—out of pocket, with no support, and left to deal with the consequences of a cleaner’s negligence on your own.

This service began in December 2024. From the start the cleans were erratic. Short term cancellations, cancellation at the time the clean should have started and several no shows. It was impossible to contact the office as they never answered the phone and I had repeatedly to leave messages. Only on one occasion was a replacement sent and then to the wrong address. Today I have had enough and have cancelled the service with immediate effect as I have not heard why no one arrived this morning. I would not recommend this company if you require house cleaning, the Winchester office does not provide the service advertised.

My cleaner is absolutely brilliant. I can't even express how impressed I am with the service. She is reliable, totally trustworthy & so polite a real pleasure to have in my home.

We've always had very positive dealings with Clare who has always done her best to provide cover for holidays and sickness. All cleaners have been very personable, arrive on time, and leave the house looking much better than when they arrived! Thanks very much.
