“Warranty not what you’d expect from a premium tool brand.”

I purchased a Wiha 320 flathead screwdriver years ago, expecting the “lifetime warranty” to mean the company would stand behind their product like other professional tool brands. When the blade became worn after years of normal industrial use, I reached out to Wiha for a warranty claim.

Their response was that the tool had reached the end of its “lifetime,” and therefore the warranty no longer applied. That essentially means once the tool wears out — even under normal use — the warranty ends.

For a company that markets itself as premium, this was disappointing. Other tool manufacturers have been far more supportive in similar situations. This experience makes me rethink investing in Wiha products in the future.

Excellent tools. I have a few and plan on replacing some from other brands. Superb quality

I have always purchased quality tools and it was time for a new electrical screw driver that would save me carrying several around. After some researching I found the Wiha pop up screw driver that holds 6 different head types. This item seemed ideal even if it did cost £85. All was well and good and the product seemed well built and reliable till one day both the eject buttons came off. I picked them up and refitted them but there is clearly something missing as they do not stay locked in now. I contacted Wiha for assistance. All I got was can I provide proof of purchase. IVE GOT YOUR PRODUCT IN FRONT OF ME, what more proof do you require.
Do not expect an £85 screw driver to fail like that.
Will never purchase another Wiha tool and I have made this clear to friends and work mates.

I bought a tools on sale and when I order is completed and I already paid. They declined my order saying its an error on their website.

I was a regular customer since than I never bought single item even its on sale.
Using the name Made in Germany but no care for the customer at all.

Very good tools
but they randomly have shortages and backorders on stuff. They also seem to have a lot of delays due to rearranging the warehouse. Kinda weird.
