Extremely good service, quick and simple

I went to an event ‘ for the love of books’, which was launching 2 books, one of which I bought.
I love this bookshop and everything about it. it is one of the reasons I upped sticks and moved to Frome after 35 years in Derbyshire. I know the staff, they know me, they
make good recommendations of titles I will like and are, more often than not, correct.

A really helpful book store that ordered several titles for me that I couldn't find elsewhere. It's not just a lovely place to browse, the staff are knowledgeable and genuinely interested in their customers.

Really quick delivery and beautifully packaged

I ordered this year’s Proms guide online and it arrived promptly and safely wrapped.

Bought tickets to the Liz Earle Book Talk, so ticket and book, for myself and my friend.
Very easy to book this online. I had a couple of questions, so emailed Emma, who replied almost immediately. Very helpful.
The evening, itself, was very well managed. Great meeting everyone at Winstone's and of course Liz herself.

I love popping in to Hunting Raven in Frome, always very friendly and helpful staff and a fabulous selection of books. When a book I'm searching for is not in the shop they are always happy to order a copy for me and it will arrive within a day or two. Also I like the loyalty points which I can collect for childrens' books.

Where do I begin! Winstone's is my favourite bookshop; it has a warm, friendly vibe, super helpful staff and a great selection of books. And the book launch I attended had the same warm, friendly, relaxed welcome.

It was very entertaining and informative. A really enjoyable evening without spoiling the read!
I think it encourages reading when we can occasionally meet authors who can give more information depth background to their books.
Our host was an excellent entertainer as well and knows how to make an author at ease and ask just the right questions
