Awful customer experience. Online booking counts weekends towards your total count, but there is no pick up or drop off on those days. So you either lose days or pay extra depending on their availabil... Ver mais

I retired last year. To end the contract was a nightmare. They need a certificate letter to cancel 90 days prior to end contract. Would not let it end early. Without out a buyout December 8 was end of contract So then they bill for the whole month. Would not pick up ontil Jan 2.
Then I get a bill for 375.00 to pick up the dumpster.
Have lawyer read and interpret there contract before you sign it. They are ruthless.

I need to update my review of Waste Management. They actually went above and beyond to resolve a missed pickup issue. This all started over a missed pickup on my recycling day. That wasn't the problem. Things happen. I rescheduled the pickup and then it wasn't picked up. A customer service rep claimed they tried but my yard debris container wasn't at the curb for pickup. Since it was, their response wasn't acceptable and lead to a one star review. No company gets to screw up and then lie and blame the customer. Waste Management responded to the review and I emailed back. At this point, I was just going to wait for the next scheduled pickup date. I just wanted an apology because they weren't taking responsibility for their mistakes. Their response was impressive. They just picked up my yard debris without my needing to ask. I had moved the container back to my garage. They found it and emptied it. They even left business cards on my car in case I needed to follow up with them. That is actually amazing customer service. I have updated their rating from 1 star to 5 stars.

Absolutely terrible company! Don’t sign up with them if you don’t have to. They charge all sorts of “extra fees”. They are unreliable. Their customer service is awful. And their monthly fee goes up higher every month. In one year my fee rose from $38 to $60. Find a different company!!!

This company has bad customer service.the trash truck driver devastated my trash can when he dumped it,now they want me to put my trash outside of my house in bags until next week before they will bring me a new trash can.this is pathetic.the first time I called and asked for a supervisor they hung up on me.this company is BULLSHT!

I requested an additional pick up and was told next Tuesday. Only in my area on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Crystal, located in the Midwest,reached out to the dispatch,there was a truck in my area and they'd pick up today. Thrilled I wouldn't have to wait a week,she went above and beyond. We've been with WM a long time,had some hiccups but on the whole they're great.

I spoke with Julian our sales representative and he’s amazing and very knowledgeable. I also spoke with Sharnae in the billing department who was very kind and helpful discussing our invoices. If you have any issues, they are wonderful to rectify them. They deserve a raise!

A couple of weeks ago, I contacted Customer Service to check on their procedure for cancelling service. I was told that there would be a $75 charge for picking up my bin(which is outrageous). I told them that I don't have one of their bins--it is a carry-over bin from the company I was with 15 years ago that had been bought out several times over. So, they said that the pickup charge would not be charged.
Today, I called to actually cancel service and suddenly the pickup charge was back on the plate. I told them about the previous discussion about the bin not being theirs. But they would not give up. They claimed they had no record of my previous call (as usual).
I did get a better price, but I have to wonder why they cannot charge that lower rate all the time. I wager that my rate will be back to what it was within a year.
The whole idea of not honoring what I was told by their own staff makes that company so shifty that I do not care to deal with them anymore.

Dear Waste Management, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the services provided by your company, particularly in light of the new offerings presented to me in an attempt to prevent cancellation. The monthly charge of $538.00 for a 6-yard unlocked dumpster appears excessive. Furthermore, the additional fee of $260.00 for someone dumping their garbage in my dumpster seems unreasonable, as it implies that I am being penalized for circumstances beyond my control. The justification provided, citing undue stress on the driver and potential extra runs to the dump, is unconvincing. As a 10-year customer without any previous issues, I am dismayed by the sudden imposition of excessive fees. My previous attempt to cancel our service when the rate increased to $538.00 was deterred by the substantial cancellation fees and damages, as well as dumpster pickup costs. This experience left me feeling coerced into continuing our contract. Despite the contract stipulating that I have the right to cancel at a price increase, your response indicated that the dump's price increase necessitated your own price hike, which seems like a deflection of responsibility. I would still have been required to pay damages, early cancellation fees, and dumpster removal costs. The subsequent offer of a contract at $238.00 per month was declined, and I opted to continue service at the full price for a year, intending to terminate our contract at the end of that period. Yesterday, I spoke with a representative regarding the $260.00 charge and my concerns, but was met with scripted responses that failed to address my issues. I was offended by the manner in which my concerns were addressed and the implication that I am incapable of understanding competitors' contracts and that I would receive similar service from other providers. When asked about competitor offerings, I pointed out the absurdity of disclosing competitors' bids. The representative's response, claiming that you were not bidding but rather negotiating, was unhelpful. Your offer of a three-year contract at $130 per month, with a reduction of $408 per month, raises questions about the fairness of your pricing. On a personal note, I have had similar issues with your residential service, which I canceled when I moved. The offering at the new residence required us to drive the garbage can to the end of the road, whereas your competitor picks up at the back of our estate gate. You attempted to charge us for moving from our house and not continuing service with you, despite being unable to provide the same level of service. I have concerns regarding your company's business practices. I will not be renewing my contract with you, regardless of the price. I have decided to switch to your competitor, even at a higher cost, due to the deceptive and bullying business tactics you exercise.

The customer Support to get a Human Agent is the worst. Auto system asks many questions when I ask for agent. Then repeats over and over! Says transferring to agent after 10 minutes only for the system to hang up on me??? Then I have to do it all over again to try get a human Agent!
My Recycle Bin was taken when they picked up But customer Support has no knowledge WHY?? So they will replace in 2 days? That's 3 days without service because I have no Bin. But they will still charge the same for the billing cycle. Not give credit for no Bin. Also I had extra trash this week because I had someone help me throw stuff out. I am disabled and can only do this when someone comes to help. The Trash bin was full with extra 3 bags one on top and 2 leaning on the Trash Bin.
That was not taken ??? I pay for my trash to be picked up and all of it needs to be taken Not partial pick-up!!!

Absolutely terrible. Please read reviews before choosing them as partner. They will continue to steal from you (claiming pickups are complete and charging when they actually missed the pickup), terrible service, fake charges you have to catch and call to be removed, crazy fees, price increases, terrible customer service and the list goes on and on. Please use any other service other than WM. If you have problems with them there are several law firms working on class action lawsuits against them. I advise reaching doing a quick google search to find the best fit your situation to join.

Wonder why your losing customer's. Your support needs retraining. Cause I can tell you no paying guest at a resort want to woken up by a rubbish truck so early in the morning. Laylani IQ is absolutely 0. She also mentioned that other businesses has canceled so that why the driver picks up early. Wonder why they canceled!!!! Your service sucks.

They were supposed to pick up an old couch which I scheduled 3 weeks ago. They told me May 12, 2026 which did not happen, then I was told May 13th for sure, which didn’t happen… Their staff constantly lies and are very rude.. I will notify the town tomorrow because they contract with these clowns… Worst company ever they SUCK.

Horrible service. The drivers continuously dumped my cans or placed them back in the middle of my driveway. I finally canceled my service and they charged me $100 to pick up the cans!
Trying to get a human to talk to, ridiculously hard! Would Never recommend them!

We cleaned out our garage. There was more trash then the can could hold. So as not to overwhelm the guys I didn't put it all out at the curb. This week I put one extra bag out. I know your rules say they don't have to pick up loose bags. Well I think it is lazy and stupid. I'm 67 years old and carries the bag out myself to make sure it wasn't to heavy for the man. The bag wasn't hazardous for anyone's health. Maybe people should start working instead of just driving a truck and pushing buttons that pick up a can for them. We pay enough taxes to have trash pick up. That means picking up the trash. I put extra out the week before and it was picked up. Maybe that was because it was something the driver wanted for himself because it was still useful. I just didn't want it

I’d leave negative stars if possible. Called in December to cancel service at a few locations since we are contractors and move all over. Was told that my company had a rep assigned and she was the only one who could cancel. Was given her email and sent her a message never got a response, Hacacia Costa Rodriguez was her name. Then I called customer service in Jan and got transferred to her and spent an hour working through the cancellation with her only to receive yet another bill the next month. And here’s where the avoidance comes in. I called her sent emails…no response. Longer story short I called customer service at least 35 times between feb and april and kept getting the run around. Finally got through to a Heather Bouldrey who apologized for the mix up and said she could see in the notes where I spoke with Hacacia back in January and said she was going to get it taken care of. I was hopeful she was going to take care of it but it appears all she did was cancel the service (in may, which should have been done in January) and we keep getting bills for feb-April. Any guesses on Heather returning calls?…she doesn’t, that’s seems to be their MO, just avoid your mistakes and hope they just go away. Called again today 5/11 and sat on the phone for 1 hour and 1 minute. At the 36 minute mark I was put on hold by, I believe Chrystal was her name only to be hung up on 25 minutes later while still on hold. This is absolutely crazy, and as a large customer with a lot buying power for over 10 years with multiple other accounts open with WM you would think they’d try to get this resolved. Well those accounts will now be closing thanks to no one else except your customer support team. Just Terrible! K, bye.

After the service was canceled, The account was charged an additional months service. WM did not respond to requests to help with this matter. Clearly WM will not assist you after a cancelation request.

This so called company has literally 1 star for over a thousand reviews! That is what happens when you deal with incompetent ignorant 15 dollar an hour call center reps! And then they tell you to email them like they are really going to do something about their ignorance! I hope this company goes out of business in the State of Colorado! Soco Waste is the best and they are super cheap! They are family owned with no issues, they send a statement out each month and its user friendly. I highly recommend trying out Soco Waste!
