Absolutely Disgusting –FALSE ADVERTISING

I paid £800 for a month’s accommodation and was absolutely shocked at what we got. The room was filthy – there was mould on the walls, dirt everywhere, and it clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned… There were no curtains, we had a broken sink/toilet seat. The place felt completely neglected and uninhabitable.

I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but I expected basic living standards for the amount I paid, but this was far below even that. No one should be charging that kind of money for such poor conditions. It’s a complete waste of money, and I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. We also did not feel safe at all they claim to be there for us 24/7 but when we contact them about serious concerns or problems we won’t get a reply for a day or more!!

We also got told all the reps would help us with a job which states on the documents and the advertising and they didn’t help us AT ALL we had to go look for our own jobs. Me and my friends also waited 5 hours outside with our luggage to get a room we didn’t get one until 3am.

Oh and you also get charged a €150 euro fee when you arrive LOL

Applied to go to Malia for the month of July in October of 2024, communication through the whole time leading up to July was bad, couldn’t get in contact with anyone. A few days before we were due to leave we were told Malia wasn’t busy enough and we had to be moved to Zante. The next day we were told Zante was too full and we had to go to Ayia Napa instead. My friend and I had already booked our flights to Malia which ran us about £600 in total for returns. We told Workers Family that we had already booked return flights and paid for them and we were told they would pay for our new flights both there and back from Ayia Napa. They sent over our flight to Ayia Napa the day before we left. Arrived in Ayia Napa on July 1st around 9pm and had to wait around at reception until 2:30am. When we finally got to our rooms we were appalled, sheets were dirty, glasses were dirty, door handles falling off cupboards and overall was just extremely dirty. Had to chase up the reps for 3 days to get AC as the room was 40° without it. Once we got the AC we realised it didn’t work so we paid £20 for nothing. This was after we had already paid an additional £150 upon arrival which was supposed to include gas, electric, bedding however my first week I had no pillow. A couple people had bed bugs, a few had to go home as people got seriously unwell living in these conditions and my friend and I had to go early due to a medical emergency as well. This meant we did not receive our £50 deposit back. We had to pay for our own flights back and emailed admin about being compensated for them but never heard anything back. The reps would go out and buy drugs then give them to the workers. Workers Family do not help you find a job, all they do is put you in unliveable rooms and leave you to figure it out on your own. Windows were falling apart, beds were broken and infested with bed bugs, ant infestations, cockroaches in the rooms. DO NOT BOOK WITH WORKERS FAMILY. Biggest waste of money ever.

I recently flew out to ayia napa to work for the summer with workers family as I wanted to try something new and despite the negative reviews I tried to stay positive.
The accommodation you are made to live in is cockroach infested, has bed bugs and is nothing like what is advertised. The room lacks basic necessities and you are essentially paying £800 for a single broken dirty bed. The accommodation often felt unsafe for me and many others with people often walking in and out of the room on drugs as they pleased.
Asides from the accommodation, from the moment i and all the workers arrived there was a lack of organisation and professionalism from the company. Some people arrived at 10pm and were stuck waiting for a room till 3am because they overbooked and were unorganised. I don’t blame the reps which worked for the company for this as they were simply trying to help- this issue is more with the people above them.
The one positive I would say from this experience is the friends I was able to meet and make memories with despite the awful environment we were put into. I would definitely say going through a company allows you to make so many new friendships but I would advise going with a company with a good reputation like party hard rather than this shambolic disgusting scam company.

Ayia Napa has been amazing! Hands down the best time of my life. Events every single day, good vibes and the wildest nights I’ve ever had. Met so many amazing people and made some of my closest friendships. Came here both last year and this year and loving every single second of it! Had so much support from the reps when wanting to start work and multiple job offers the next day. The best experience I’ve ever had and can’t wait to come again next year

I recently worked abroad in Ayia Napa through Workers Family, and the accommodation was nothing like what was advertised. The place shown on their website looked clean and modern, but what I got was old, dirty, and lacking basic amenities. It felt like a bait-and-switch.

When I raised the issue, there was no real explanation or apology from the company. Overall, this experience was very frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Be cautious and don’t rely on their photos.

My experience in zante has been class and made people for life and what a experience it has been and the party package is defo worth it shout out to corrie/welshy our rep for always checking in and supporting us when we needed him and whatever questions we needed he was helpful he’s the man to go to for a good night out aswell if your coming to Zante book with workers family you won’t be disappointed Zante until next time

I came in July, booking process was easy. All the reps were very committed to helping you through the process of getting to Zante and into your accommodation. Furthermore, my wonderful rep Kya has been most helpful, thoughtful person that I’ve met on this trip. All together, wonderful experience, can’t wait for next year!

Zero stars is not allowed, horrible horrible place hell on earth.

So corrie was the only rep that’s basically looked after us since landing. Any questions he was there with answers and he was always a person we could go to if we needed anything. He took us on the best nights out with the package deal we got when we first landed. I will definitely come back out with workers family. I met some really good people out here who I’ve made genuine friends with and it’s been the best experience 🍻

Believe the bad reviews, the agressive and defensive responses from the company to bad reviews speak volumes.
My daughter used this company against her better judgement.
The promise of work is not true.
You cannot work legally without a visa so young people are being exploited at 20 euros per day and work has been found independently.
Accommodation given has been cockroach infested , no bedding , everything broken. 4 people (2 of which are strangers) in an incredibly cramped space.
My daughter has had to cut the trip short due to such a dreadful experience. 2 other girls in her room who she met through this trip have done the same.
Money spent on all of this could have been used on a really nice holiday. Please save your money and go somewhere nice.

The REP’s Mitch and Amo were always there for anything we needed throughout the whole season and made sure we all had a proper good time.

I’ll definitely be back out there again this summer with Workers Family🫡

Came out to napa in 2023 as a DJ, they introduced me to all the right people and paved the path for my future. Everyone very friendly and helpful. With the contacts they introduced me to, had a great time in 2024 and will do in 2025 summer aswell

great company , all the staff are so funny and great help, the opportunities they put out to you are amazing and i ended up staying for 2 months the rooms are basic but it’s all you need when your out all day and all night anyway, they sort your transport from the airport and explain everything when you get there i 100 percent recommend.

This company is a massive scam. I went to Malia in June with workers family. I was promised support, help, protection and a job. In the beginning they say it’s only £600 for everything which is your accommodation and wristband. The wristband is absolutely useless. I think it was a week or two our whole group was supposed to fly out when they hit us with another charge. £100 for another wristband for events which is manly just going to the clubs, £50 for a resort fee, £50 for breakage fee that you’re promised to get back but don’t, £20 pounds for another wristband to get into a nightclub and more charges for the room such as a safe, air-con and bedding as none of that is provided with the £600 you pay at the beginning. So in the end before you even get to experience everything you’ve roughly spent £1000 on total. Then you also have to pay for your own food and drinks and flight tickets. So now youre looking at £2000 in total. The first night I got there we went on the strip to look at all the clubs. I was unfortunately sexually assaulted in the club and was searching everywhere for the reps so that they could help me but to everyone’s surprises they were no where to be found. All the reps were trying to do was just sleep with all the girls that came with. The reps even had a private groupchat where they would bully, mock, catcall, and rate all the girls on who was more fuckable. I arrived on the 1st of June and left on the 2nd of June as I didn’t feel safe and got no refund back for anything. For everyone protection I really hope you don’t go through with their scam xx

I came out with workers family in September. I’ve had one the most amazing experiences of my life and got to meet loads of new people. Mitch was one of the reps out here and was extremely helpful when there was a shower leak in our room, he came out with Ammo straight away and sorted it out for us. Will definitely do an experience like this again next year if I can get the time off for university.

i arrived in napa on the 1st september i got checked in by mitch and amo they’ve always made sure we all felt comfortable and planned multiple days out for the group, mitch even paid quite a bit of money for our beach day buying speakers etc , had the best time out here and made best friends, definitely worth going to .

Ayia Napa 24 what a place, made friends for life and if any1 is debating taking that step and getting out the uk Just go for it the memories will last a life time, will 100% be back next year 🫡
