Keeping it to the point Phil was mega professional, catered to what we needed and explained anything and everything we were worried about. Lots of money to pour into a house, but has felt well worth it.

Pros:

- Awesome communication
- Felt transparent
- Double checked with us on colours etc even after ordering to ensure good product fit
- Product makes house looks so much cleaner and is warmer!
- They can work in small areas, and will use local recycling firm instead of a skip who were speedy

Cons:

- Estimates for how long it would take should have been more conservative, estimated a week and took a month

After a delay to commencement, due to weather issues on other jobs, WP arrived and did a very professional job on our rendering project. We wanted a specialist rendering company, and it was clear that WP were knowledgeable and delivery-focussed. Would recommend their services. The staff there are very friendly and helpful too!!

It took a long time for us to get our rendering done, neither my neighbour nor the conservation officer made things easy. Steve at WP was supportive and patient while getting my neighbour on board and permission granted from the conservation officer. Once everything was in place Phil managed the job and again communication was great, problems were quickly resolved. The work was finished promptly and site left exceptionally tidy. We are delighted with the finish, our house looks fantastic. I whole heartedly recommend WP rendering.

We have had an extension built and used WP Rendering for our screed when our original supplier let us down 3 times in a row. We were so impressed with their professionalism and work ethic, we thought of no other company when it came to rendering said extension.

We can highly recommend Steve and Phil plus both their teams. They did the work when they said they would, to a very high standard. They were friendly and polite, cleaned up after themselves every day and kept us always informed of progress.

All our family and neighbours are also impressed, and we have recommended them in person to these. We would give higher than 5 if available.

The outcome speaks for itself, we had 2/3 of our house rendered and 1/3 cladded by WP rendering a little under a year ago and it looks absolutely stunning! It was hard to find a contractor who was willing to do the whole exterior as a one stop shop, WP with a wide range of previous work under their belt gave us the confidence that they could execute the look we were going for. We wanted some particular details on the exterior, for example rounding into the window reveals, a subtle flourish that is fairly tricky to get right, but the team did this beautifully and we often get positive remarks for this addition. We also wanted a particular type of cladding that was becoming harder to come by, Steve and Phil we able to source this no problem and it was installed after all the rendering had been completed with care and precision. The job did take a bit longer than expected, but given the scope of work and typical British weather, you can't fault the outcome. WP have refined their craft and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

WP rendering did a really good job for us on a difficult 17c property which is partly half timbered with rendering. This not only involved replacing the failed 1970s concrete rendering letting in damp with more traditional Lime Mortar rendering but also replacing some oak beams which had suffered from extreme damp penetration. We had to wait for the spring weather before the work could be done but it has been worth waiting for. The team were helpful and solved the issues they found very professionally. WP Rendering display characteristics of the lost art of doing great work combined with excellent customer service. They really had tight control of our building project and kept us informed at all times. Phil Weatherhill was our point of contact and he dealt with the job with supreme confidence and great care, always keeping in touch with us as to the next stage in the works. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the job or the way it was handled. 'Excellent' is the only way to describe it.

Waited 6 months to get job started purely due the inclement weather but was worth the wait. The lads that did the work were very polite and hardworking that was much appreciated. Always prompt and very respectful of the property and it's surroundings, Steve and Phil always kept us updated at each stage of the process, many thanks to them and their team for a job well done. Phil and the team did a fantastic job in addressing the problems we had with the rendering on our property. The lads who did the work were very polite and hard working and the measures that they took to keep the working space clean and tidy throughout attracted praise from neighbours. Throughout the job Phil kept us updated with progress so we knew exactly what to expect and when. I would recommend WP Rendering.

The end result of the insulation and rendering is brilliant. Phil managed the project very well, despite a few issues on the way which were not the fault of WP Rendering, but of the local planning office.
My house is in a conservation area. I had been told by WP that we wouldn’t need planning permission because the house would look the same as before, but without the cracked/missing rendering. However, a week or so into the work, a planning officer arrived and told the men to stop immediately as we needed planning permission.
Work was therefore held up for about seven weeks, while I submitted a lengthy pre-planning application and waited for a response. I had been told informally by the planning office that even if I applied for planning permission, it was unlikely to be granted.
During this period the scaffolding remained in situ. WP Rendering were very understanding and I was not charged for the time the scaffolding was there, unused.
Finally the planning office informed me that planning permission would not be required and they thought that insulating the house was ‘a good thing’ and that work could proceed.
The men were then able to return to finish the work during a period of terrible weather, and completed it the day before Christmas Eve. They were truly amazing and worked during weekends as well. I am very grateful to them, and to Phil for his communication at all times.
I would suggest that anyone having similar work done in a conservation area might chose to speak to planning first.

WP have simply done a fantastic job. The whole of the exterior render system on our property needed replacing – a major job that involved removing and replacing the exterior render and carrier boards. From start to finish Steve, Phil and the team kept us in the loop of what would be happening, when and with whom, and I can’t speak highly enough about the lovely guys who worked tirelessly on the house itself. The standard of work was exceptional and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was clean and tidy afterwards, and that we were happy with the finish. Tomas even gave me some great fishing tips.

All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend WP to anyone. They turned what could have a been a very stressful experience into something that was relatively painless, and we’re really happy with the quality of the work that was done.

WP rendering came and gave us a quote to render a lovely new building that we have built in rural Worcester. It will be used by a fab group of people who have disabilities and want to get together and enjoy the countryside and grow lovely veggies and flowers in their poly tunnel. Job has been completed and the team have done an amazing job. All work was done in time scales and team cleaned up as they went - all new windows and doors were covered prior to work starting to ensure no damage. We and the group are so pleased with the new building.

From start to finish, the service we received was first class.
Communication from Phil was excellent throughout, and the hard working team had the complete job of preparing and rendering the property within a couple of weeks despite the wet and cold weather/ All professionally carried out and the property has been transformed.

Amazing company. They re-did the external rendering on my almost new, modern house. It was a complex job due to the type of blocks used (hence the developers had bodged it), so I was anxious about it being done right. These guys were amazing. From Steve who did the initial consultation, to Phil who oversaw the whole project/logistics and admin, to the 4 guys who worked extremely hard, long days, they pulled off a perfect job which looks incredible. Soooo pleased, and grateful. So, from a bit of a perfectionist, I'd have to very strongy recommend these guys and would definitely go back for any rendering needs of any kind. Cheers boys. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very pleased with the work done and fabulous finish to our house. The entire process was professional managed by Phil and remained wholly focussed on our needs/wants/wishes. This was backed up by the excellent site team led by Simon, who kept us engaged and explained each stage of the process as they did it. They kept the site neat and tidy despite some rubbish weather and delivered a fabulous end result with outstanding quality of work.
