After a long night drive from Cheltenham to Wrexham, I arrived at the Hand Hotel (Chirk)feeling extremely tired. Despite it being close to closing time, Sally welcomed me with exceptional warmth and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well settled before she left. Her genuine care and willingness to go the extra mile made a lasting impression on me. I truly appreciate the outstanding service I received and would highly recommend the Hand Hotel to anyone visiting Wrexham. Their hospitality is simply amazing.

Visited this restaurant 4 times now and each time a lady called suzanne couldn’t do enough to help us and feel special we always look forward to seeing her now and love the food and service !

Was with my mum as we normally go to nandos everytime i visit and it's normally ok however on this occasion I was uncomfortable the vibe just wasn't the same our wings were the size of a baby chick no meat on at all tasteless then the corn on the cob was hard & wasn't even cooked nice my garlic bread tasted old & cold. The guy at the till wasn't English & couldn't really understand me. So im afraid to say we wont be going back.

Wrexham University is Unreliable, Irresponsible, and Engages in Intimidation!

I enrolled at Wrexham University, made my payment, and received my enrolment letter. I shared the necessary documents, and my course started. However, just one week after the course began, I received an email stating that my course had been canceled without any explanation.

This situation has severely affected my mental well-being and has also caused my studies to be delayed by a year. Despite repeatedly requesting an explanation, I have received no response—neither by phone nor email. There is no one to contact, and the university has shown no professionalism or courtesy in addressing this issue.

This is not the first time they have done this to me previously, and I no longer believe it to be a coincidence. I am convinced that the university is acting in a discriminatory RACIST manner. A higher education institution should not treat its students with such disregard and irresponsibility.

Moreover, last month, the university publicly stated that they would expel students if they posted reviews about the institution online. This is a blatant legal violation—it is a form of threat and blackmail. It is against human rights and represents the abuse of laws and power for one-sided control. Such practices are commonly seen in undemocratic countries where people are treated like slaves and subjected to oppression.

I strongly advise against enrolling at this university! They do not care about their students, and there is no guarantee for your future here. If you value your education and well-being, stay away!
