I was sold by WC back in Oct. 2023 by Sales with a Money Back Guarantee if I was not satisfied. My project is a simple book project edits and cover redesign, and to get my book listed on Amazon by early December 2023. I was promised this was easy to do and complete in time. I was hesitant since there were several negative complaints regarding WC. However, Sales was convincing and no worries with Money Back GTD.

I was assigned to designer who I had to chase for my book drafts to review. Each time I was sent back Cover drafts with "errors" and my requests for edits were incomplete. This was very frustrating as her communication was poor and I believed her English was lacking in comprehension. This went on for several weeks with just the Cover redesign and I missed my December deadline!!! Ted Baker - Director of Operations convinced me to give them a second chance, no worries our Money Back GTD is in place. This turned out to be false promises, designer had left, and a new designer was assigned. Then they closed for Christmas for several weeks. January 2024 another new designer was assigned, made several similar errors with my book content draft. I continued to chase and request for updates and draft reviews. All falling on deaf ears ???

WC is a poorly run company with weak inexperience staff. Mgmt provides empty promises throughout. I have requested my Money Back GTD and was promised my REFUND back in MID-FEBRUARY. I am STILL WAITING for my REFUND, March 26th, which should ONLY take 5 business days. WC has FAILED me EVERY STEP of the WAY... BEWARE !!! They are NOT responding to my UPDATE REQUEST for my REFUND. I have wasted so much TIME, ENERGY, and MONEY dealing with Writers Clique Staff - UGH !!!

I would like to thank Adam Smith and the entire team for their professionalism and efficiency. Always available to answer any question I had throughout the process of publishing my book. Adam was also available to address any issue that arose. I just published my first book with Writers Clique and we are finishing the second book. I highly recommend them to any author who is looking for expert assistance in publishing a manuscript.

I had the awesome privilege of working with Fred Adams as my project manager. He was AMAZING!!!!
He has a wonderful personality, very patient and kind. His knowledge about AmazonKDP and how it works was phenomenal! I could not have asked for a better person to work with. In my opinion, he is one of a kind, and an asset to your company!

Took a long time to get my book published -- about 8 months. They kept losing chapters.
When finally on the market as a print book. it looks good, but has proof reading errors that I thought had been corrected.
About 6 months after publication, they came to me with an offer to make the book and E book and put it on Amazon Kindle. They took $1000.00 from me to do this -- I set up another Amazon account WC's request. They never got the book to Amazon nor did they get it marketed as an E book ---- they did not return any money

My goal was to get a book published of my photographs. I found the process very challenging and was not able to do it. I met writers Clique and Ted Baker and Adam Smith. I worked with Ted at first and he got me through one process and then I worked with Adam Smith for the final process. They helped me every step of the way and I'm so very appreciative of them helping me get my book published. Thank you Writers Clique, Ted Baker and Adam Smith for making one of my goals come true.

It was a real pleasure to work with Mr. Ted Baker at Writers Clique,He handled everything in a profession and polite manner, Mr. Ted Baker , Mr. Adam Smith and the Writers Clique staff demonstrated their talents of professionalism with Excellence, I was SO very pleased to my book completed and revised and now on many other platforms I highly recommend Mr. Ted Baker, Mr. Adam Smith and their professional, very Capable and talented Staff, I will be using their service again in the Near future. Promises are not being kept

I posted this two weeks ago and it was removed. WHY?

I am not getting the services I paid for. Publication in IngramSparks is not complete and I have been told for over a month it would be done, but it hasn't. I did most of it myself and shouldn't have had to. I paid good, hard-earned money for your company to do it. Also, I have been denied the date marketing began and access to detailed report of this marketing. I paid 1800 dollars for this service, and so far, nothing has been given to me. I was also told, more than once, that I would receive a copy of all sales and royalties up to this point. Needless to say, that hasn't happened either.
My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB. I will also file a review with Alli reporting your company as a scam publisher. Y'all have until this upcoming Friday to get this mess straight.
The editor did his job, and I am grateful. However, everything else is a bust so far. I created my own cover page since they offered covers that didn't go with my story. I had to redo all entries in KDP due to the wrong format Writer's Clique used. I started my publishing in IngramSparks but could not get the cover page set right. I tried 10 times in between promises that "it will be done this week." I was told everyone in publishing was going on a week's vacation at the same time, so I'd have to wait another two weeks. This is when I tried to upload it all on IngramSparks. I am still waiting on it to be done. I paid WritersClique 1200 dollars for this, and I did most of the work.
Now for the marketing portion which costs 1800 bucks. I was sent my author's pages to approve, and I did that. That was two weeks ago, and I am still waiting for access to it. I have been denied knowing the starting date of the three-month period of marketing my book and was told "don't worry about it, we are monitoring if for you." I have also been promised a complete report of my sales and royalties, two weeks now, and I still have not received it. Nothing else, as far as I know, has been done in the marketing of my novel. I have been denied access to my domain name web site as well as a complete record of what marketing has been done up to this point. I paid for this, so I have the right to receive access to my marketing account.
The Above was my previous complaint, now, I am forced to add to it. My project manager stopped replying to my emails and texts. When I finally got in touch with her, she said, “I literally have 100s of clients and don’t have the time I need to answer all emails and texts. WELL WAKE UP! I AM STILL A PAYING CLINET AND AM OWED THE SERVICES I HAVE PAID FOR. A project manager should not take on more clients than he/she can manage in a professional manner. I have been asking her and her assistant in Marketing when the rest of the agreement concerning book sales and professional reviews I was guaranteed will be done. There is a little over a month left on the three-month marketing serviced I have paid for. Neither of these people will answer my emails.
I was asked to remove this complaint, and I did in good faith. This will remain until all promises are kept to my satisfaction. The 26 books that have been sold were to my family and friends. Not one book has been sold through WritersClique. I have been told by my project manager not to worry they are handling it. So far, I don’t see any progress on their part. Sure the websites are done, and I am grateful, but no sales in two months on WritersClique’s behalf is not good enough for the money I paid. I am tired of being told not to worry and it takes time. Time is almost at an end, and I want the services I paid good hard-earned money for. If the sales and professional book reviews don’t happens, I will be filling an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have all the emails, texts, and paperwork to validate my claim.

A friendly and hardworking team to work with!
I contacted Writers Clique to publish my book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I was then assigned a quite friendly project manager Kimberly. I would say she knew how to get things done in the best possible. She along with her publishing team got my book published within no time and helped me throughout in understanding the basics of these two publishing platforms. I would recommend these guys to everyone else!

I have read hundreds of reviews. I have learned that the best review is a truthful and honest review. This is rather than an emotional and irrational attack on a person or product.
This is my 3rd book published through writers clique. I do not know the company as a whole. However, I know my director/associate Kimberly Hills. Through the process of each book, she has been award-winning, in my view. Professional and personable, she has gone the extra mile to communicate and discuss book editing, cover, and copyright issues. All in all, publishing with writers clique is a pleasant journey.

I have chosen Writersclique for my first ever published book fictional novel for Promotion and Marketing, and their team did a fantastic job on my website and amazon, which enhanced my book sales and searches. They have delivered what they committed to me at a reasonable price. Thank You.

So far the experience has been very quick and easy. We just got a look at the book cover design and love it.

I appreciate the ability to review and correct anything until I am satisfied. I felt like I was actually controlling it to a point. I was given respect and as much time as I needed.

Working with writers critique was an interesting experience. I had no idea what I was doing when I decided I wanted to publish. They streamlined the process and made it easy, there were a couple of snags but nothing major. I worked with Kevin, he was always available be i through email or phone call.

One thing id give them to improve would be to explain the process more, as a first timer I dint necessarily know what to ask it would've benefited me to actually know the process. Solid experience though

Getting your book published is very challenging. Finding the right publisher is even more so. I did extensive research Finding the one that met my needs. I finally settled on Writers Clique. My project manager was Eminey. After working through some initial problems, with her assistance they produced a book of high quality. She did a fine job following up when needed. I would use them again.

I really truly appreciate Kevin and the rest of the teams focus, workflow and turnaround. Success all around.
