Spent nearly 400$ on their website (I have been a client for decades) and they sent the package using a company named OnTrac (instead of using any of the known ones) and the company marked it as delivered when it wasnt, wrote to customer service and provided everyhting they asked for and they response is that the company states that it was delivered (it was also signed by some random name that isnt nobody of us) and that they cant take responsability about it???? so if a package is misdelivered you just dont care and let your clients down like that? horrible customer service and worse resolutions, thanks for nothing #ZaraWillNever

Dreadful experience - the contempt is off the scale
Dreadful experience - like so many others. I bought some items in the Oxford Street branch and the person serving me never told me that returns could only be back to a branch and the only branches are in London or Edinburgh. And I rarely visit either city. So do I pay £50 for the train travel to return £108 worth of clothes? As a compromise, from customer service, eventually having wasted two hours on the phone and web, I was told to return the two clothes items to the USA and pay for the shipping myself. The contempt is off the scale. Never ever again will I even look at this brand again and I'll post my full experience on my socials shortly. Horrible USA arrogant, working to a script "please do not contact us please" customer service.

I always enjoy my experience in the Abercrombie and Fitch store because the workers are kind. The music is nice. The lighting is wonderful and the selection of clothes are superior. Since a child, I’ve loved Abercrombie and Fitch and I’m glad to have rediscovered it as an adult so now I can have fun again.

Refund issue with A&F gift cards
I used multiple gift cards, along with a remaining balance from previous returns, to pay for a new order. That order was canceled due to a backordered item. The refund process has been terrible. I sent a screenshot showing that I used multiple A&F gift cards, and that was not enough proof to have them resolve the issue.
They asked for the order number where the refund was processed to help provide a resolution. However, they were unable to trace the e-gift card details because the refunded amount did not match the original gift card balances.
I said forget it; I'm not wasting my time or brain cells digging into this
My warning to you all is to keep every single receipt and gift card you paid for your order. Their system is a pain in the ass.

Great experience with ordering online exclusively.
Fast shipping. Transparent return process, and great customer service.
Last return, had an issue where the return wasn't being registered on their end (package arrived, had confirmation from the delivery service that it arrived to their warehouse, but their website was showing me it didn't arrive).
Contacted customer service on Friday evening, by e-mail. By next monday, the entire issue was solved, and the money was on its way back to my account.
Can definitely recommend.
Horrendous customer service
Absolutely horrendous customer service, I did an order on the app paid by Apple Pay and it auto filled the addresses as my old address I immediately called their customer service up they advised me they could not do anything at all not cancel the order or divert the package I paid £286 for the items and I have never received them.

Ik weet niet waarom er zoveel slechte reviews zijn, misschien door vroeger? Volgens mij is dit een topwinkel en oprecht de beste klantenservice van België. Ik heb 2x een grote bestelling geretourneerd voor de maat en bestellingen gecombineerd teruggestuurd en echt waar ELKE persoon met wie ik op whatsapp heb gecommuniceerd is professioneel, vriendelijk, beknopt, doelgericht en snel! Ik heb de indruk dat hun achterliggende systemen goed werken; de retours werden op tijd verwerkt en terugbetaald + omruiling verliep supervlot. Daarnaast zitten de broeken absoluut als gegoten nadat ik de juiste maat vond, terwijl ik altijd problemen heb qua maten. Ze zijn supermooi en de andere kledij ook. Ik koop absoluut nergens anders nog mijn broeken dan hier. Ze hebben er een trouwe klant bij gewonnen. Goed bezig!

Customer service is awful
The customer service is absolutely shocking. Takes days for issues to be resolved.
When someone finally emailed me, I emailed back only for the message to be undelivered because their mailbox is full! How can a company as large as this not have a handle on ensuring their space in their inbox to receive customer emails?
Abercrombie tries to steal your money
In December I purchased a sweater, the sweater was too big so I sent it back to the store as an exchange. I could see the exchange arrived back to the store however my new sweater was never shipped out. When I reached out to Abercrombie they would not help me until I reached 10 business days. I reached out at day 10, when they told me I was outside the window for them to help me and they could not send out the sweater, even though I had proof it had been delivered back to them weeks earlier and had reached out twice inbetween. Reluctantly they refunded my order and gave me a 20% discount. I had purchased the sweater Black Friday so was disappointed I was unable to obtain that sale. I waited a month to repurchase the sweater as it had been out of stock. The new sweater was still not fitting right so I decided to return the sweater. Once again, I could see it was delivered back to them but no refund. I waited ten business days and reached out. I was assured they received the sweater and could expect confirmation of my refund by the end of the next day. This did not happen. I reached out again and was stated now that I’m out of the ten day window my refund can be denied. I sent them screenshots of my message with the other customer service person and she claimed he is misinformed. She wanted me to reach back out 5 days later. I refused and demanded my refund as that would put me at 14 business days, when they clearly state 10. They proceeded to send me a screenshot that they had received my merchandise but still refused to refund my money. After a long back and fourth conversation they refunded and offered me 20% off my next purchase for my trouble. I l politely declined. I am shocked now looking in to Abercrombie this is normal behaviour for this company. I am stunned consumers are still buying from them. I will never ever buy from here again.

Poor customer service
I would give this company 0. I returned two pairs of jeans and not had a refund. I then had another delivery of the same jeans, apparently it was an IT glitch and warehouse problems. To get a full refund I have to return these again at my cost!!! What a faff. Customer service is of no help, e-mail only with no resolution. No telephone contact and no one to speak to. Awful company.

3 Teile zurückgeschickt, 1 zurückerstattet bekommen, weil angeblich nicht angekommen. Abercrombie hat keine Beweise geliefert sondern lediglich Pauschalaussagen getroffen. 100€ Verlust und wirkt für mich nach Betrug, aufgrund lediglich automatisierter E-Mails des Kundenservice. Aufpassen und Retouren abfilmen, damit ihr Beweise habt, falls Abercrombie dies öfter macht.

I ordered 2 gift cards for Christmas on Dec. 13th. One showed up, the other did not. Okay fine. Talk to the company. No problem, right? PROBLEM. A problem reported on the 23rd of December took until the 2nd week of January to resolve. I had 5 or more chats (I lost count) and was lied to on multiple occasions about when the problem would be fixed. Eventually the situation was resolved after hours of chatting and phone calls. The simple solution that eventually solved the problem could have been implemented during the 1st chat or the 2nd or... Never again!
J’ai passé commande pour 2 manteaux…
J’ai passé commande pour 2 manteaux pour un total de 420€, payés le 25.10.2025. J’ai renvoyé 1 des manteaux dont la taille ne convenait pas le 3.11.2025. Le 10.11.2025, j’ai reçu confirmation que le manteau a bien été réceptionné par Abercrombie et que le remboursement serait traité dans 1 délai de 3 à 5 jours ouvrables. Le même jour, je recevais un e-mail m’invitant à cliquer sur un lien qui ne fonctionne PAS. Je leur ai écrit le 15.11.2025 pour les en informer. Rappel le 27.11.2025. Systématiquement, je reçois 1 rappel « type » qui ne trouve aucune solution. (L’intelligence artificielle ou des humains sans réflexion?) J’ai enfin eu quelqu’un d’humain qui m’a dit transfère le problème au service comptabilité après avoir confirmé que tout était en ordre. Malgré l’affirmation qu’on me reviendrait, j’ai dû envoyé des rappels toutes les semaines. J’ai adressé mon RIB (attestation de la banque avec mon numéro de compte) et envoyé une mise en demeure le 27.11.2025. Malgré d’autres rappels encore intervenus début janvier 2026, Aucun remboursement à ce jour.
