Love Montane

Love the Montane gloves although they've not had a full winter test yet. They fold up into the minutest of stuff sacs and can be packed for use on any walk, run or bike ride. Would shop again from Above and Beyond as their pricing is competitive and their despatch times are quick. A*****

The most terrible online shopping experience

This is the most terrible online shopping experience. I ordered 2 Nordisk tents with floor on 25 Mar and completed the international shipment fee based on your request via paypal on 11 Apr. They only response me when they need me to do payment. After completing all process, I didn't get any response of shipment update and any response from email or Facebook for over 14+ days. . The official phone isn't reachable from other country. I will raise my situation for my bank and lawyer.

Thanks for getting in touch. I know Jennalise has been corresponding with you concerning your order because there was a delay in receipt of the tents making up our Spring stock from Nordisk with goods expected to arrive on 19th April. Because we specify online that we have to quote for shipping of large and heavy items overseas (the products you've ordered as you know are very large and very heavy) we had to send a quote to you to get these goods to you in Taiwan which you kindly paid. However, we cannot split shipment due to the cost of sending. Fortunately everything has arrived and goods are currently being prepared for shipping with Federal Express and will be with you imminently.

Could you drop us a line please with the number you are trying to call us on because our website lists +44 1670 716376 and we receive overseas calls to that number regularly so I'd like to investigate this further.

If you'd like to discuss further please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Dreadful and incompetent customer service.

As expected there is now a diplomatic reply to this review to make it seem like they really care about there customers.
I have contacted them as they asked but (as I expected) never got any real reply.
It is all PR to make them look good but unfortunately all they really care about is there reputation and not there customers!

Honestly one of the worst experiences I have had shopping online.
The level of communication is so poor when it comes to any real action.
That said they are masterminds at coming up excuses and reasons why they are right and the customer is wrong.
It took me 6 emails over 20 days for them to finally admit (although naturally, they blamed someone else) that they didn't have the item and give me a refund.

It is all too clear they are only interested in looking after themselves.
Customer 'service' is not something you can expect from these people.

Hi Bezalel, I'm very sorry you have had a bad experience shopping with us. Could you please contact us via customerservices@aboveandbeyond.co.uk with your name and order number as we cannot find anything under name 'Bezalel' and your review is classed as 'organic' by Trustpilot meaning it has no order number associated with it therefore I am unable to look into this further until I get some more information.

Please reply with further details as it is very important to us that we look into any review such as this to see what has gone wrong and try to remedy matters and ensure no other customer has a similar experience.

Good price, product and delivery

Paid for faster delivery and product came as described in a timely fashion. Exactly what an online shopping experience should be. Would use again.

Excellent service

Excellent service - had to contact them to chase my order due to my mistake in inputting my email address - they emailed the confirmation of the order and tracking details to me promptly. I would definitely recommend them.
