That’s a good job. Thanks to Victor. He’s helped me with grammar in my academic paper. He’s definitely an expert because he can find a way to not only solve a concern you are struggling with, but also able to provide you with extra information and make sure you understood the idea of “fixing” grammar mistakes.

Great job at a very short notice!
I have used Academia One a few times already, once for my CV and once for personal statement for my PHD application at UCL. These guys are really professional, I like it! They are quite responsive and pointed out many areas of improvement that I would not have had noticed myself. Special thanks to Viktor and Ceci for organising the proofreading at a very short notice! Will use you guys again 😃

Good communication between me and the staff. I used the proofreading service for twice and I will still go for them if I’ve got chance.
Though there is slight delay of returning my work (less than one hour), it doesn’t affect the overall impression.

Great service but there is room for improvement
I would give the experience a 5-star, but we did go through a rather bumpy communications period while Academia One went through some transitional periods. The contact window changed overnight and some of the terms and fees seemed to have changed overnight as well. The service and experience wasn't perfect, but the founder of the Academia One is truly committed to providing the best CX. To make up for the confusions caused, the founder jumped back on my case immediately and smoothed out the rest of our working relationship. I've worked with them on three papers, one of which got a distinction, another got a high 60s, and still waiting to hear back about my dissertation. I would definitely recommend their service, but make sure to read the feedback carefully and be sure to make your expectations clear — if a specific editor does not meet your standard or expectation, make sure to communicate that clearly!
