Good experience

Quick delivery even over holidays. Helpful, respectful and fast customer support. My device had fingerprints on it and no screen protector plastic, so I assume it was a return, but it works just fine and shows no damage. Wish this was disclosed prior.

Great service and fast replacement

I ordered a pair of FiiO FH3 earphones (open box) and unfortunately one side was faulty.
AdvancedMP3Players handled the return quickly and professionally.
Linda kept me updated throughout, arranged a brand-new replacement, and even refunded my return postage.
The new unit arrived today and works perfectly.
Really impressed with the customer service — thank you!

Absolutely fantastic company

Absolutely fantastic company, ordered an amplifier on Monday and it turned up on the Tuesday, brilliant communication throughout via email. The company has now been saved and I will 100% be using them again.

I didn't received order because Fedex…

I didn't received order because Fedex did not attempt delivery so now item FiiO FA19 is being refunded. Advanced rang me and issued a refund so will order again from Advanced MP3 using a different delivery service. Thanks to Advanced for calling on phone.

Super efficient company

Super efficient company, received my order of a Jade Audio JA11 DAC the next day, great price. Highly recommended. Love the device, can't believe how much oomph it has for such a tiny thing.

I'm sure I'll be back now that I've got the taste for this hifi stuff.

Trustworthy company

I bought some used fiio in ears from these guys. They were sold as box opened but unfortunately the cable was defective. I was worried about having to send them back and messing around with postage etc. But after one phonecall Linda was so helpful and they just sent me another cable out free of charge, almost immediately. They now work perfectly. Excellent service and will definitely be using this company again. 👍

Great advice on DAP's

About two years ago my venerable 10-year old FiiO player finally gave up on me so I started looking for a replacement. I had no idea how the world had moved on from FLAC players to High-res streaming devices! So much choice! But luckily I found AdvancedMP3Players. They helped me with a great deal up the DAP player ladder with a FiiO M11Plus. After using that on an almost daily basis on my many travels I wanted more - I started eyeing up the higher end of the spectrum and again AdvancedMP3Players came to the rescue. Chris the office manager spoke from his own experience which players would give me the best experience and I ended up getting a beautiful blue iBasso DX320 with an extra AMP for even more enjoyment. Of course it got delivered within a few days as agreed. All in all a great experience with expert knowledge, reasonable prices and REAL people.

quickly refunded after my mistake

I accidentally sent a £90 order to the wrong address on friday evening. I emailed them on the weekend asking to cancel and when they opened on Monday I received a full refund notification in the morning, without any questions back. So I think this company is very trustworthy even though the name seems sketchy lol

Great value items with excellent service

Ordered a discounted DAC/Amp from them that had been marked box opened. Item came in good time and other than the box seal being broken, all box contents were good as new, and item was in perfect working order.
Will definitely be ordering from them again if in need of more HiFi equipment :)

Terrible customer service - Avoid

I ordered a small item from this company, never used them before but looked legit.

I must have inadvertently put the wrong address in the delivery instructions. When I realised a few weeks later that my item had never arrived, I contacted the company to ask why. They forwarded the ‘proof of delivery’ which had my surname on it (but an initial that was not mine nor anyone in my house).

I pointed out that this must be fraudulent, as had the courier actually attempted delivery at the [incorrect] specified address they would have realised it was wrong. Instead, they must have dumped the item and forged a signature.

I recognised that the initial error was mine, but that the courier had not acted correctly. All I asked was for the company to contact the courier to raise a dispute (only the sender can do this). They refused to do so, stating that ‘the courier has done nothing wrong’ - a puzzling response. Over email the ‘customer support’ person became increasingly hostile and rude.

I get that I made a mistake but the refusal by this company to even try to help was really rude and upsetting.

Save yourself some money and hassle, buy whatever you need on Ali Express.

I’m sure they’ll reply here and try to spin and skew the truth, but they’re not a company anyone should trust.

As you state, the error was yours. You entered an incorrect address, and we succesfully delivered the correct item to that address. There is no reason not to believe that the person who signed at the delivery address did so in good faith and still has your item sitting in their house, because as far as we know, you have not attemped to visit the address the item was delivered to, despite it being on the same street as the correct address.

It took you over a month to raise this issue with us, and when you did raise it, you accused us of defrauding you for your £16.98 order in your first message. Despite this I do believe our messages were courteous, not hostile or rude as you claim; we just did not give you the answer you wanted.

We are always happy to assist in the recovery of a missing item, but it is hard for us to do much more than provide the proof of delivery and clarify where it was delivered when the item was delivered a full month before we were made aware of a problem.

You also raised a Paypal dispute. Please note that whilst Paypal did reimburse you for the total, they also did not dock the money from us, as they did not believe us to be at fault.

I am sorry that you found dealing with us so unpleasant. I would like to think that we just got off on the wrong foot, should you be interested in trying buying from us again in the future. We are an established company over 20 years old, and not the illegitimate grifters you have tried to paint us as in your emails and review.

Missing cables and straps

I got to get out of my way to leave this review about this company. I have bought a fiio Q11 and paid £75 with transport, described as damaged box, i received the item earlier than expected but that is were all good things i can say about the service/product end. I opened the package and i noticed the box was not original, which i though it was fine, then i go though the content of the box to realize all they have sent to me was the DAC and an iPhone cable (useless to me as an android user) i've contacted the sales team and a person called Linda responded the next explaining where i can find details about their open box products which is sly as it is and said she is going to speak to the team about the missing items. I sent another email requesting the missing items to be sent as i would rather not send the item back as this will cost me even more money. They never replied to me after this and decided to review their disgusting customer service and ethics. I must mention the DAC could be purchased at a price of £77 with tax and transport from Aliexpress BRAND NEW. Which makes me wonder why this UK base company charges such prices for second hand products with missing parts to customers that were wronged like i was. I also purchased a type c to type c cable wich took the price over what the thing would cost me new. I will leave this here and you make what you want of it. If anything i am "selling" my experience short as i have not mention the hours of my life i lost due to this and other inconveniences like stress etc. I will most surely not buy from them again and i will make sure i will tell people to avoid them. UPDATE: After several days of back an forth conversations with someone called Linda from the sales team I managed to agree with them to a discount of £15. However the product goes completely silent more often than I can ignore while listening to music or before I even start. It does not seem to be the cables which I used but perhaps some sort of glith. So far I ordered around £25 worth of cables and still waiting for some of them to arrive. If this still happens after I've tested it with all of them, I will return the product. Massive disappointment. Extra credit for the customer service. The only reason why I will rate them at two stars.

We apologise for the missing cables in your original order, and for missing one of your attempts to contact us. As mentioned in your review, you have now been partially refunded for the hassle. You are still to test the product with other cables as per your wishes, and the product can of course be returned for a replacement or refund if the item does not work as intended. Our clearance items, which come in many different conditions, almost always include a full manufacturer's warranty as if new.

Unmentioned in your review is that our offer of £15 was the first offer we made after realising there was a message that required a response. You also sent us 4 other messages requesting a return and refund, which we did reply to in a timely manner. Your unread message was sent as a response to our returns information. We pride ourselves on customer service and tried to make this right as soon as we were aware of this issue.

Also unmentioned is Linda's explanation as to why we do not match Aliexpress. As they are internationally based, they often do not include UK VAT on the prices, and the price quoted does not include shipping charges either. On top of that, the ETA for a Q11 from Aliexpress is currently over 2 weeks away. Ordering from an authorised distributor such as ourselves provides you faster shipping times (often with a free delivery option), UK Consumer Rights if your item is faulty under warranty, and customer support where needed.

Once again we do apologise for the difficulties you experienced with us. If you do need to get back in contact with us again we will do our best to respond to you promptly with the support you need.

Absolutely great service & pleasurable experience.

Ahead of making a purchase I contacted the support team to ask a couple of questions. These were answered quickly and in full.

Subsequently I made my purchase got my order number followed by the expected despatch confirmation etc. I was also emailed to advise of a split shipment for which I asked another question and again the reply was prompt and complete.

Throughout, the service has been exemplary, the products excellent in both price and delivery. In a world where we now purchase most goods via the internet this company adds the Human Touch which is most welcomed.
