Alert-Cancelled by crisis, penalized without cause
Despite my trip being cancelled due to a geopolitical crisis in the region, AFC withheld 16.62% of the total amount without any reasonable or justifiable explanation. There was no valid basis for imposing such a penalty under these circumstances, making the deduction both unfair and unacceptable.
I strongly dispute this action and expect a full refund of the amount that has been unjustifiably retained. This experience has been disappointing and raises serious concerns about transparency and customer fairness.

We note your concerns regarding your recent booking and would like to clarify the situation.
Your tour to Egypt, scheduled for 19th March, could not proceed due to exceptional external factors at the time, including ongoing regional developments and uncertainty around flight operations. Kindly note that it was not an initiated cancellation from our End , but a situation where operating the tour was not feasible due to multiple Factors.
From day one, our teams remained fully operational and proactively reached out to all clients, working continuously to manage a rapidly evolving situation. Despite having already made full payments to our suppliers, and with ongoing uncertainty regarding recoveries, we ensured that clients were provided with timely and fair options.
A refund option was shared with only minimal charges retained towards expenses incurred of the booking. We proceeded with the refund only after receiving your confirmation via email. The applicable refund has since been processed and credited to your account.
We understand that the situation may not have been ideal, and while we aimed to provide the best possible resolution under the circumstances, we recognize that it may not fully meet everyone’s expectations.

Your tour to Vietnam, scheduled for 18th March, could not proceed due to exceptional external factors at the time, including ongoing regional developments and uncertainty around flight operations.
Multiple options were provided to you, including the opportunity to continue your travel on a FIT basis, which was also discussed with by our senior manager over a call. Since you chose to proceed with the refund option, we requested some time to process your request, and all related communication has been sent via consumerrelations@afcholidays.com. Our team remained available to assist you at all times, including during your visit to our office. Magical Experience of Finland

I booked the Explore Paris & Swiss Tour with AFC Holidays with the help of an amazing consultant - Ms. Althea. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating from the very beginning. All my worries and questions were addressed promptly, from visa processing all the way until the end of my trip. She is very friendly and approachable, and anytime I had a concern, she responded quickly and guided me with patience. I will definitely contact her again for my future travels and will highly recommend her to all my friends planning a Europe tour. With Althea, you’re truly covered.
I would also like to express my appreciation for our tour manager, Mr. Nadeem. He made sure no one was ever left behind at any point in our journey. My recent Slovenia & Croatia visit
My recent visit (29-03.12.2025) with AFC Holidays for Slovenia & Croatia, the tour was well organized especially the selection (I believe it’s by operation team) of hotels though they were outskirts of main city, but not very far if we use the taxis. The tour guides are very knowledgeable & friendly. The two days of optional tour’s sight seeings ie the Lake Bled with cathedrals and Plitvice Lake were amazing. The other major tourist attractions like the Cave and Game of Thrones filmed spot in Slovenia would also be included.
Mr.Shajin Alex the tour consultant is excellent in coordination and extended his support professionally until completion of this tour. He patiently addresses & explains every queries in details as needed in timely manner, appreciated his work.
Just to highlight the itinerary, the tour itinerary was so luxurious & relaxed, out of 5 days tour, onward & return flights took almost 2 days, due to winter season sunset was around 4pm, more than half day took for transiting from Slovenia to Croatia almost 2 1/2, hence I suggest that the flights can be early in the morning for onward and night for return to make use of atleast 4-4 1/2 days for such schengan countries tours as we all aware that how long & hard process to obtain the Schengen visas.
I had multiple tours with AFC holidays overall it is ok.
