Safaris in Pilanesberg and Kruger
I wanted to experience a safari in a simple way and I appreciated turning to ABS for that. They were really reactive and helpful in organising everything for me. Chris was kind and professional towards me, which made me feel confident. I had the chance to do two 4 days safaris in two different areas : Pilanesberg and Kruger. Each place had its own uniqueness and my time was lovely in both of them. The organisation was very good, the security too, the staff were amazing and the experience incredible. I am leaving South Africe with an extraordinary memory of my time there.

6 Day Garden Route Tour
I have never travelled to South Africa before so i was totally reliant on Bronwyn for her unparalleled knowledge about South Africa. She recommended several trips and soon realised that i wanted something with lots of extra optional activities available. Communication was aways prompt, easy and reliable. A good value for money tour with flexible start dates and duration. I loved it that i was able to book into bunk style, shared accommodation, which was of a very high standard. I find this option helps as a solo traveller and it was a great way to meet new, like minded people. A trip of a lifetime with memories to last for ever. Thank you.

An excellent itinerary. Superb hotels and camps. Staff were wonderful. Multiple game drives and river cruises to maximise animal sightings. Lots seen. Highly recommend.

There are also a number of reserves in close proximity to Cape Town which also means you were able to see the magnificent wildlife of Africa too.

We had a fabulous trip to Madagascar. Our hotel accommodations were great. We did upgrade and it was definitely worth it which included all of our meals. Bronwyn took care of us and set us up with a great guide named Roza. I highly recommend booking with African Budget Safaris.

Bronwyn was extremely patient and also very helpful with me. It took me some time to decide which Tour I wanted to go on. I was put at ease the whole way through. The responses were very timely and useful throughout the booking process. Chameleon staff and guide were fabulous.

South African safari and drive holiday
Just back from a 3 week safari and tour around South Africa. Throughout we dealt with Claire Monson and she was brilliant.
The holiday was tailored around our requests, including safaris, zulu battlefields and garden route. Claire organised our itinerary very well and was available to be contacted on a couple of occasions to assist. This meant so much to us.
We had a fantastic holiday and would certainly recommend using African Budget Safaris to family and friends. We may well be back too!

Excellent Service and Safari
My daughter and I just came back from a tour booked through African Budget Safaris. Harriet helped me to decide on our Nomad tour of Namibia-Botswana-Victoria Falls. I sent her endless emails with questions which she always answered in detail, prior to booking, once booked, and now taking the time to get feedback after the trip. We had an amazing tour! First time safari goers - had fantastic experience!
We were first time safari goers and booked a 4-day safari relatively spontaneously just a few weeks before we had planned to go which meant a lot of things had to be planned in parallel and quite quickly. Even though Daniel was just before his own holiday, he always reacted very quickly to any questions we had, gave us very detailed information on itinerary, what to pack etc., and the partner Safari company and accommodation in Tanzania/ Serengeti was fantastic as well! I would definitely recommend booking with African Budget Safaris. You will be in experienced hands with people who not only understand safaris from own experience but also safari bookers‘ needs, wants, questions, hopes and fears. Harriet made our safari experience easy and enjoyable. She answered all our questions patiently— and we had many! She helped us find a trip in the right price range that was out of this world. We LOVED staying at Elephant Plains and highly recommend working with Harriet to get you there. The luxury rooms are worth the extra price!

It all worked perfectly, and the itinerary was spot on and the hotels were fantastic and the Tour company "discover Zanzibar were fantastic".

ABS helped me find a great trip.
I booked through ABS 10 years ago. When I decided I wanted to visit Africa again, naturally I emailed Claire, with a loose outline of what I wanted to do and when. Claire sent me a list of options, and I chose a 21 day Cape Town to Vic Falls small group lodge tour, via Namibia and Botswana. All of the group agreed it was a brilliant trip. So huge credit to Sunway Safaris there.
Note that ABS act as agents for the many tour companies. But their experience means that they know where to look to find what you want.

The Cape to Vic Falls Route has to be hands down one of THE most popular routes in Africa covering such huge highlights from the fair Cape through Namibia’s dramatic landscapes and immense solitude into the lush wilderness of Botswana’s Delta and then Chobe National Park before the splash of Vic Falls in Zimbabwe and all the thrill that goes with it. African Budget Safaris, and specifically Bronwyn, made booking our safari so simple.
We had a thousand questions before booking, and Bronwyn always responded within 24 hours with extremely helpful answers. Even when we had a question at the airport, Bronwyn was available and helped us through the process. I recommend this company to anyone that is looking to book a safari.
The safari itself was such an incredible experience. Though the itinerary had changed slightly from when we had booked, the trip was unforgettable and we saw and did so many amazing things. Our guide and chef were fantastic. The animals were (obviously) the best part, but the people we met were a close second.

We've had a great experience with African Budget Safaris. We originally planned our trip in May 2020 but it had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. We were able to pickup where we left off and Chris and other staff were incredibly helpful in getting us scheduled. We had an amazing time on the safari, everything went according to plan and we saw some amazing things. Highly recommend working with them to choose a safari.
