I visited the Aldo LaSalle, ON
N9H 2N2 Outlet today with my partner and our two toddlers (ages 3.5 and 1.5). As any parent knows, shopping with young children is a challenge, and we were doing our absolute best to manage them while taking turns browsing. While I appreciated a staff member alerting me when my eldest stepped toward the exit, the experience was completely ruined at the checkout.
​The cashier spoke to us with a demeaning tone and zero empathy, stating they weren’t there to “look after our kids.” It was incredibly insulting, especially since we were clearly struggling and doing our best to keep them contained. Instead of understanding, the staff chose to argue. We felt so unwelcome and disrespected that I walked away from a $300 purchase and left it at the counter. We won’t be returning to a store that treats families with such unkindness.

Very disappointed with my recent…

Very disappointed with my recent purchase from ALDO. The shoes looked great at first, but after only a short time of normal use, they became damaged and started falling apart.

For the price I paid, this level of quality is simply unacceptable. I expected much better from a well-known brand like ALDO.

This experience has definitely affected my trust in the brand. I hope ALDO takes this seriously and improves both product quality and customer service.☹️☹️

Also customer service representative…

Aldo customer service representative are the most rude, unprofessional and do not help with any issues. I received the wrong shoes & the representative said so what people make mistakes. I called again got a different representative and she was rude and nasty also.

Had a terrible experience with…

Had a terrible experience with aldoshoes.com.ph
They never gave me back my refund after returning the bag that I ordered. It was never used, and I only opened the package to see the bag. It was too big for me, and I returned it the next day. It's been a month already and I only get the run around from their customer service.

The return policy is absurd

The return policy doesn’t make any sense. I wore a shoes once that I bought recently to check the fit, and even though it was the right size, the fit was not right. And the shoes actually made my feet swollen and had blisters just with 20 min of use, when did my research and found out that is because of the steep pitch of the shoes even with just 2.5” height of the heels. That is basically poor design of the heels.
The shows is no longer use for me. When I mentioned this to the agent, she mentioned it is ineligible because I worn it once. When I questioned, as to how am I supposed to check the fit without wearing it, she didn’t have a response for it.
The heels cost $122, which is poorly designed and uncomfortable.
Disappointing customer service and return policy.
Will never go back to ALDO for any purchases. I would rather prefer brands that value customer service and satisfaction.

Cheap material Purse .

Purchase a purse the end of September, delivery & package was ok, but about a week ago notice the 4 bottom corners of the purse they fading ,I dont used my purse on daily basis, today Nov 3 I spoke with customer service his name is Isai to mentioned my problem ,after all the explanation for my surprise he said since,they dont provide for insurance ,never thought of insurance when purchase a purse (weir) I will probably get parcial refund wich it will be $16 dollars from $74 dollars purse , is not even about the money is the purpose of the cheap material they used ,I could had gone to any store & buy any purse cheaper & long lasting wich I done in the past I had cheap & somewhat more expensive purses & trust me they last much much longer , Aldo is not what I though it will be, never will buy anything again .

Using fake leather

I’ve been a regular Aldo customer, but I’m really disappointed with my last purchase. I bought a pair of shoes about a year ago and wore them only for 4–5 months. Despite very light use, the outer leather layer (which seems synthetic) started peeling off. The shoes have been sitting unused for months, yet they still deteriorated.

I don’t have the receipt anymore since it’s an older order, but it’s frustrating to see this kind of quality from Aldo. I expected better durability from a brand known for style and craftsmanship.

Sales associate ANNA at square one mall…

Had a bad experience at the ALDO store in Square One Mall, Mississauga. I went back to ask about a pair of earrings I bought three days ago — the package said 3 earrings but only had 2. The staff member, Anna, was rude and unhelpful, accusing me of losing one instead of checking the issue. I even showed her that their own display had the same problem, but she still didn’t assist. Very disappointing service.

Receive used product in online order

Went in store to purchase a pair of boots at the Aldo location inside Carrefour Laval, since I had been given a coupon to use. At first they could not even find the boots to try on even after telling me they had them and the associate brought me the wrong boot to try on twice (the same wrong boot btw). So I asked to try in a different colour so I could order them online. Then I asked if the associate could order them for me for pick up, but due to technical difficulties she could not. Okay fine whatever. So I place an order for pick up for the Satori brown boots for pick up at the exact same location I had just left so I don’t know why she couldn’t place the order. Anyways I pick up the boots and get home and open the box to realize that the left boot has been worn since the Heel/bottom is scuffed and the boot itself was not stuffed with paper the way the right one was. It is also scuffed at the front top which is visible when comparing the two boots side by side. I take a picture for proof and wait until Monday to call customer support after trying a million different ways to contact them via email (impossible btw). Even after sending them proof of the used left boot in comparison to the right one AND the representative agreeing with me there was basically nothing they could do. I was offered three options: 1. I could attempt to go back to the store but I was not guaranteed they would even take them back!, 2. I could send them back and place a new order with no guarantee it would not happen again.. 3. I could get a partial refund of 25% and nothing more even though one boot has a visible light patch and is used so basically half the product is used/damaged. I chose the third option because 1 and 2 offered me no guarantees even after asking if customer support could contact the store to guarantee an exchange. If I had bought them in store and inspected the purchase then it would be fine since I can obviously understand people try them on BUT I ordered these online I expect them to be brand new!! Don’t even bother trying to find an email to reach them for North America (Canada) there isn’t one. Their chat bot is useless as well and although the representative was kind, the options he gave me offered no guarantees over their merchandise even after I tried offering other solutions like an exchange (he said the store might not take them back??? Why not??). Like I was willing to drive back to the store to just simply swap the left boot out. So be advised unless you see the product in person you can basically get anything via online order. It’s obvious I just got the demo left boot they keep out or something. And I’m certain it wasn’t the stores demo because these had shipped from elsewhere so they should have been brand new!

Edit: 3 days later and the meagre 25% refund they gave me got charged as a payment on my card as confirmed with the bank!! This is exactly why I had to ask the guy to give me PROOF of the return by email!! This is beyond ridiculous that I now have to attempt to get into contact with them AGAIN because they charged me for my refund. Never shopping at Aldo or their other brands again. Honestly…

Disappointed with ALDO’s Online Order Handling

I placed an order on ALDO’s official website on May 2, purchasing three pairs of boots, including the Toney boots in black and brown, for an upcoming family wedding later this month. The order was confirmed, and I was charged the same day.
Suddenly, on May 5, ALDO abruptly canceled two out of the three items, citing they were suddenly out of stock — despite confirming availability and payment three days earlier. This last-minute cancellation has caused unnecessary stress, especially as I let go of other boot options based on ALDO’s confirmation and was relying on their timely delivery.
I was reached out, only to be offered a generic 15% discount — the same one available to any first-time user — which doesn’t address the inconvenience or the trust broken by this experience. I didn’t just lose boots — I lost time, peace of mind, and viable alternatives for an important event.
I hope ALDO re-evaluates how it manages online inventory and considers the real impact of such cancellations on customers who shop with trust and purpose.

I purchased a $50 gift card, accidentally dropped it by the cashier. The code was verified and I was told I could get a replacement which I never received and between the store and the Customer Service line, no one will respond.

I never received my order

I never received my order and cannot reach anyone to help. All their support is AI. They use fedex, which is equally difficult to deal with. Looks like I will need to file a complaint with my bank or Bbb to get my money back.

Defective with no returns

I bought a slipper under their brand “Call it Spring” and it was defective as the sole started peeling just right after the unboxing.
They refused refund or return and also refused to give me a call or a phone number to contact.
They operate under the name Aldo, Call It Spring, and 6th street

Used shoes

Ordered shoes online. Sent me a used pair. It’s on final sale, so can’t return or exchange them. Contacted customer service with pictures, they said they will refund me and will sent a confirmation email right away. Still didn’t receive email or refund. It happened to me once before when they sent a used pair. Never buy from them online.
