Alvarez guitar horrible customer experience
The Alvarez guitar itself is nice. I just bought the AG60CE back in January. The problem is, the company itself, in St. Louis does not stand behind their products, and does not give a crap about their customers. They built me a defective product, where the L.R. Baggs electronics were completely shot... Even the tuner didn't work. They said they would fix it for me, but I had to pay the $160.01 to ship it to them. Imagine that? They made me pay an additional 40% of the price of the guitar to fix their own mistake.
If anyone really wants an Alvarez guitar, I highly recommend buying a used one.
This strange policy makes me believe that this is an ongoing problem with the company. I mean, if I were the only one that had a problem with their guitars, wouldn't they be more than willing to pay for their defective product?
