I signed up to a recurring subscription for marine collagen that went from $129 to $189 the next order, without being notified. I was told that it was written in their newsletter, which I hadn't signed up to.
I also asked to return in based on their satisfaction guarantee and was told I have to pay the shipping.

I understand that a price increase is never easy to deal with, especially when unexpected. The changes you've seen reflect significant, ongoing challenges in our supply chain. Unfortunately, the cost of our raw materials remains considerably higher—around double what it was months ago—due to factors like limited supply, increased global demand, and the current Australian dollar exchange rate. We deeply regret having to pass on some of these unavoidable costs to maintain product quality.
I was able to find your order details and see that your order was delivered on 1 October 2025. For any return requests for products outside our 110% Guarantee, customers can contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods. Nevertheless, we are always happy to assist.

Very good product
Very good product, great taste and variety of flavours. I normally don't tolerate whey very well, but I tried the whey isolate (brigadeiro) from my son uses and didn't have any issues. Just placed an order for myself now.

Really delicious protein. Highly recommend!
I got 2x 1kg bags of WPI, Aussie Choc Malt and Creme Caramel, as well as 2 samples: Strawberry and Caramelised Dutch Cookie (Biscoff, basically). I liked all the flavours.
Pros:
- It's delicious. No, you don't understand, it's really really yummy. I don't know how they've done it but it doesn't taste like protein powder, it tastes like a milkshake. I have 100ml water + 100ml skim milk + 1 scoop. Most proteins are pretty underwhelming and you kinda have to push through, just like the 1000th chicken breast; well this is the opposite and tastes almost (almost!) too much like a dessert. The Caramelised Dutch Cookie even has biscuit bits in it!
- Mixes well, not grainy, bit foamy after shaking but not too bad at all
- Not too sweet (some flavours sweeter than others), doesn't have that overly fake-sweetener taste
- I didn't get much bloat. It's almost inevitable for me with WPIs, and this is one of the best ones for my stomach.
- Fast shipping, got my protein maybe 2 days later (to Vic from NSW)
- You get 100% credit back for sample purchases to use towards your next purchase, great for trying flavours
Cons
- Would be nice to be able to get samples for other products (specifically there's no sample options for the protein water)
- Otherwise, nothing. No complaints at all for choice or service.

Their customer service engagement has been incredible. Once I missed a sale by 12 hours (shift worker here). I was also having trouble submitting the order online so I called to place my order, while there we spoke about how I just missed the sale, and they gave me the sale reduction anyway.

Blew me away.
Been looking out for a new protein powder source for awhile before I stumbled across Amino Z and deadset… their flavours… blew me away. Misleading pricing
Bought 5kg of WPI
2 Options that were an additional $5 per unit
3 Options that were standard price
Website shows $280.24 for 5kg (+$10 for the 2x units at a higher cost) adds up to $290.24
Went to cart and the total was $304.99???
5% S&S discount on $290.24 should bring the total down to $275.72, however the discount was applied on a total of $304.99 which is not disclosed anywhere on the website? I ended up paying $286.03 which honestly confuses me.
I would love to hear feedback regarding this matter.

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing your feedback- I also saw your email come through regarding the same concern. I've checked your order, and we replied there as well. Just to clarify here too:
The base price for our 5kg Amino Z WPI (prior to today's price update) was $294.99. For premium flavours (such as Mango Milk and Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream), there was an additional charge of $5 per unit. Since you selected 2 premium flavours, that brought the subtotal to $304.99 ($294.99 + $10).
Your 5% Subscribe & Save discount was then applied to this $304.99 total, bringing it down to $289.74.
The price of $280.24 that you saw on the website was the 5kg WPI in standard flavours only, with the 5% Subscribe & Save discount already factored in. Once premium flavours are selected, the extra cost is added before the discount is applied — which is why the discount is calculated from the higher amount ($304.99).
I completely understand how this could have been confusing, and I appreciate you raising it.
In case you haven't received our email regarding our pricing update, effective today, we have updated our prices, and as part of this change, we have removed the premium surcharge.
