U bought a car in August 2025 from them. By September the car was flooded by rain as the sunroof was leaking heavily. In March 2026 it failed its MOT. When investigated, it was found to have had sealant applied to the metal suspension. This has been covered with black paint to hide it and the very extensive rust. I was sold a dud.

We brought a Fiat Punto from AMJ cars. We have had some minor issues with the car and they have been so helpful to get things fixed. They have gone above and beyond to help. We will be buying our next car from them.

I bought a Citroen DS3 off this guy's and have had nothing but problems and it has broken down 4 times since May the first two times they took it back and look at it but the problem keeps coming up and it's so unreliable and I wish that I had not seen the car and he did a repair on some rust patches under the wing mirrors and the rust in back so he must not of treated the rust it makes me sad and now I am stuck with a unreliable car for the next two years as it on finance and have no money to replace it buyer be aware and new update on purchasing the car I ask if they could do the cambelt and water pump which they said yes we can do it for £200 cash and I gave them the money and got no receipt and I had a mechanic out doing work on the car he checked the cambelt and said that the belt has not been touched and will need replacing soon as possible as it is showing signs of wear

A good salection of second hand cars all though some prices are above the markit price but they all good quality low milage staff are helpful even made me a coffee waiting for my car to be finalise I would definitely go back to them hopefully in the new year

Needed financing for my dream Audi A4, and Amjcars offered several competitive options. Their finance team was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Very happy with the car and the service.

The staff at Amjcars were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Found the perfect Volkswagen Golf for my needs, and they even helped me get a great warranty package.

The service from Mat at the time of purchase was very good 👍 however I know I’m not on warranty now but having a service done today my mechanic popped the bonnet to right away see something was disconnected and a bolt put on the end ! This should be connected appropriately! When calling them up they didn’t want to know after reassuring me the car had been AA checked etc ! On telling them I was going to seek more advice I had the phone slammed down on me ! Absolutely concerning behaviour ! Totally disgusted with that business!…. And no I would never deal or recommend them ever !!!!

I Must admit I am very disappointed, I was recommended to this Garage by a friend.
I bought a Renault Scenic from them and have had issues with the electrics on the car ever since, Warning lights have been coming on sporadically ever since I have had it, started with the Air Bag then Brakes, CO2 warnings and seat belt being undone, I did take the car back just before the warranty regarding the Brake WarningLight Issue which they fixed but that started to come back on after a week.
There was no manual for the Car, never heard of a professional Car Sales Garage sell a car without a manual, surely it cannot be that hard for them to source.
Also unfortunately I never tested the Cruise Control as soon as I got the car so when I went to use it and it didn't work they refused to mend it as it wasn't part of the 3 Month Warranty.
So I am left with a car that continually has random warning lights come on and no Cruise Control.
After taking it to another Garage, his words were, get rid asap.

Once AMJ Cars saw my review, they got in touch to see if they could sort out the issue I had, so was very happy, but since then I have had very bad experience with one member of staff over the phone, he would not let me get a word in, was so rude, he ended up shouting at my wife and myself down the phone and then would not give me his name, I have now spent the rest of the week chasing them, now just fed up, I am left with a car I cannot use, out of pocket nearly £6k and a feeling all they are interested in selling the cars and hope for the best as the after care service is absolutely non-existence. I have had no choice but to go down other avenues - I will keep my fingers crossed for future buyers that their car does not have any issues.

I bought my car from AMJ Cars in Boscombe on a Wednesday and started driving it on Saturday. The following Tuesday my car stalled, and the battery died. It was late, dark and raining and as a young female I felt unsafe. I was also less than impressed that my parents had to drive out and jump start my car less than a week after purchasing it. I contacted the garage, and they asked me to bring my car in so that they could take a look. After waiting 6 hours they replaced my battery with an old battery. The experience was an unpleasant one, I may fit the female stereotype and not speak car, but I don’t enjoy being patronised. I was told that while they had replaced it there was nothing wrong with the original battery and that the problem was that I didn’t know how to start my car. This grated slightly after being left stranded the previous evening. After this experience, I contacted my parents' garage who I know and trust and asked them for a general checkup of the car. Surprise, surprise I needed a new battery.

I would exercise caution when buying from this seller, especially if you are a first-time buyer or someone who doesn’t know much about cars and is relying on your car seller to be honourable. Also, it is important to note that when dealing with them following the problems with my battery I, as a young female, felt patronised, spoken down to and was left feeling frightened to drive my car because I knew that they cut corners. When I looked at the lowest reviews for this garage, I found that this garage is known for using second-hand, subpar parts.
