The quick turnaround from purchase to delivery

Placed an order on Friday and it wasn't shipped until Tuesday afternoon. I thought it would at least go out on Monday. Not sure it will get to me on time now.

My AMS auger arrived in perfect condition within a few days. The quality of workmanship was exceptional, and the price was very reasonable.

We have purchased tens of thousands of dollars of AMS tooling. Great stuff, always ships quickly but, shipping is so expensive.
Also would like to see the ratchet handle cog as a part.

It is easy to navigate. However, if you don't want to buy the kit you have to enter each one by one. it would be helpful if you had a diagram of the kit with part number on it. We have some of the parts in the kit already.

I've been a customer of AMS for many years. When I purchased the telescoping auger I wasn't real sure if I would like it. Turns out I love it and use it on 90% of my field work. So many sites that it needed new bits. So I ordered a new bucket while the original one is being sent back for refurbishing. This is a great company.

You flood me with email offers. Then I need something and whatever the offer was it has expired... Some of your auger handles are on sale, but out of stock. Let me guess, the sale ends when then come back in stock. You got me frustrated.

11/29 Update: Okay, so I'm feeling much better now! My original 3-star review got some attention and I received a phone call with advance notice of the Black Friday sale. Pretty good sale and I picked up some more stuff. Thank you AMS. My original frustrations were partly due to me not being familiar with the AMS website. There is a lot of stuff there and things can be hard to find unless you know what you're looking for. I have used the AMS hand augers for decades and will continue to do so. I'm pretty happy with how well they work, there durability and build quality.

My Installers, Roy and Anthony were great. Good job cleaning up and with details of craftsmanship.

Order was easy, part was cheaper than through a retailer, but shipping was very expensive. It all evened out.

I really appreciated company reaching out about a delay in shipping (before I even realized anything was the matter). Very pro-active and very excellent customer service.

The best customer service I have had in a very long time. I ordered two pieces of equipment that I expected to use together and they let me know after making the order that they would not function together, then offered to change my order, and did not adjust the total payment.

This was exceptional and I will only be buying from this supplier when possible from now on.

Was able to find the sampling equipment that I wanted as well as see others that I'm putting on my wish list. ;-)
I haven't received the equipment yet, so I can't comment on quality. Will do so after I receive it.

Received our soil profile probes and am inpressed with the quality of them. Looking forward to utilizing to help our grower produce sod with a better root system for better establishment upon transplant. These probes will help to show them things can be done better.

I ordered 2 probes to try out as my previous soil probes from JBK Manufacting are no longer be made. The probes are good quality probes but lack the functionality - efficiency I need when sampling. The 2 available tips wet/dry don’t quite work that well in a variety of soil types which I experience daily. The tips are smaller than my previous JBK which allowed for using my finger to remove cores. These when they jam aren’t as user friendly. The windows on these new probes don’t allow the cores to “roll out” of the probe into my hand as I was accustomed to with my old probe. A slight adjustment with milling grinder would fix this as I did with mine. Lastly, I’m not a huge fan of the removable tips & handles until a better way of securing them is developed.

I've been doing business with AMS, Inc. for many years now, and they have exceptional customer service. Their products for top-notch also.

VERY fast shipping. My second piece of equipment from AMS; always been a very good quality product that withstands years of use.
