Racially profiled in the Padstow shop
I entered the shop with my husband to browse the menswear selection when a member of staff rushed to me from the counter supposedly to point me to the womenswear section but his whole demeanor was tense and watchful. When he saw that I was with my (white) husband he quickly backtracked and let us be. This was odd because no other customer was being treated this way, and I was forced to conclude that I was being racially profiled. Not a good look.

Big shout out for the Bude store
The Bude store is a great place to shop. The staff are friendly without being at all pushy. I wasn't sure if the hoodie I was interested in today would fit, they didn't have the next size up in store but suggested I try it on and if I wanted the bigger size they would order it for home delivery. Happy days the one in store turned out to be the perfect fit, but I really appreciated their helpfulness.
The hoodie is lovely, made from super soft organic cotton.
They were just as helpful when I previously returned an item because I changed my mind, they offered a simple and quick refund.
The Bude Team are a credit to the company

Chloe the life saver!!!
I phoned about my order to the animal at junction 32, where i spoke to chloe who more more than happy to help. Chole rang customer services for me who then told her the order had not gone through and that I would need to reorder it, but I didn't have the money and my child was due to go away in a week so couldn't wait for the refund, and I needed these items. Chole with all her powers managed to sort it all out for me, and get me it ordered for next day delivery, to say she is a superstar is an understatement thabk you so much you don't know how much stress you have saved me.

Used to love animal clothing

Terrible customer service! Updated to VERY GOOD!
Terrible customer service, photo evidence supplied by my wife of TWO pairs of slides simply becoming “unstuck” on the band component of each pair (men’s and women’s) - YES, 12 month guarantee had just expired, but have hardly been worn (the tread is entirely “as new” on both pairs!) - I would understand if we had trekked miles in them, but they have been used sporadically since ownership! Used to think Animal stood for QUALITY, sadly just cheaply made overpriced slides apparently stuck together with a very weak adhesive!
UPDATE : 9th august 2023 - reply from Animal suggesting they wanted to help….. I received the SAME EXACT copy and paste reply - “Unfortunately, both faulty items are now outside the 12 months warranty period, hence we are unable to offer a refund or replacement”.
I give up now, if I could give zero stars I would….. terrible quality slides not built to last more than very light / occasional wear (indoors perhaps?!) - please don’t buy!
FURTHER UPDATE 13th AUGUST:
Clare Judd, senior customer advisor, has been exceptional and processed a full refund with apologies for the initial advisor responses. Thank you Clare, my wife has received a confirmation email and now awaiting payment into her bank account.
