I really regret using this company

I really regret using this company. Nov 28, 2025, I purchased a Samsung microwave listed as in stock. December 1st, Appliance Central emailed to say it was not in stock & they would order it now. Dec 7th, I followed up, having heard nothing. No reply, but it arrived a few days later. Some features on the door did not work out of the box. We did a few things to troubleshoot, as one of the faults was intermittent, but it got steadily worse & more frequent, requiring a full powering down of the microwave to get the door to work. December 18th, I contacted Samsung online, who ran some tests & confirmed it was faulty. They said I could take it to their service centre or get a replacement from the retailer. I chose the latter. I contacted Appliance Central the next day & they insisted I send screenshots of my online chat with Samsung. Did so, but there was no reply for over 24 hours. Called again & they said that because I was in Melbourne, they’d need to organise a courier to pick it up. No problem, I said. Then the guy started complaining that it was a hassle as they were in Sydney. Not my problem. He said a courier would contact us the next day. They didn’t. Dec 22, I got an email from them saying they were contacting Samsung to work it out. Heard nothing until January 8, when Appliance Central emailed saying Samsung had told them I now had to bring it in to them to assess… which they’d specifically said I didn’t have to do. 52-minute round trip for me to get Samsung to confirm it is faulty for a second time, then another 52-minute round trip to pick it up a few days later. All so that Appliance Central could avoid paying a courier to pick up their faulty product as promised. Delays of well over a month! I emailed Appliance Central asking what they would do to compensate me for so many delays & the inconvenience & expense of having to drive over 100 minutes to get it repaired. What a surprise - no response! What a joke of a business. Avoid them!!

2 weeks to have my tv delivered through…

2 weeks to have my tv delivered through APPLIANCES CENTRAL.TERRIBLE SERVICE. If i knew this i would have gone with appliances online. Ive used them several times. They deliver in 1-2 business days always. Do yourself a favour. Go with appliances online.

Ignoring return requests

AC have been ignoring return requests for 4 months, and I'm sure this can go on indefinitely.

I have purchased Westinghouse Deluxe Glass Kettle 1.7L WHKE08GL from AC. I have a baby, so I was searching for a plastic free kettle. Due to almost non-existent description for this product on AC website, I had been researching this model elsewhere. Reviews on other websites for this model said there is no plastic in contact with water, however when I received the package, it turned out that the whole lid, internal bottom surface(!?) and filter on the nozzle are plastic. All the photos of this model that are available online, including AC website, don't feature these details. I submitted a return request on June 7, and still haven't received any response, even a confirmation email. After a few weeks I noticed that AC listing for this model stated it would be a backlog order, i.e. they had almost no stock left, but ended up ignoring my request anyway.

Extremely Disappointed – Worst Delivery Experience

I had a terrible experience with the delivery of my new fridge, which was purchased with installation and packaging removal through Appliances Central. Unfortunately, they outsourced the delivery to DJT Logistics, and the service was appalling.

The delivery staff were rude and completely unhelpful. They claimed the fridge couldn’t fit through my doorway because of the door, but I managed to remove the door myself in under five minutes. While I was doing that, they rushed back to the truck and left the fridge outside in the rain. I was left to move the fridge into the house by myself—a hazardous situation, especially since I had just mentioned that I was taking care of my newborn.

The service I paid for—delivery, unpacking, and installation—was not provided at all. It’s unacceptable that DJT Logistics failed so completely, and even more concerning is that they showed no regard for basic professionalism or safety. I strongly urge Appliances Central to reconsider their partnership with DJT Logistics so no other customer has to go through what I did.

Disgusting Company

I have emailed you guys 3 times and not even a single response received from you guys. I ordered JBL partybox 310 for $580 in the evening and next morning the price was dropped to $480 I asked to either price match or cancel my order as it was less than 24 hours before I made an order but no reply received. I sent another follow up email still no response and sent one again after that still nothing. Terrible service and will not be coming back.

Ordered and paid for 55inch TCL smart…

Ordered and paid for 55inch TCL smart tv and it arrived 3 days later on time.It was delivered by Aremax and the driver had no problem bringing it to the 3rd level of my unit block having first ph me from the car park.Simple to set it up and really happy with it.Will shop with them again after been given the run around for 4 weeks from Kogan / Dick Smith.It was also half the price than Kogan /Dick Smith where charging.

ordered the tcl 50" C635

Very quick ordered the tcl 50" C635 tv on Wednesday night received it same week Friday in Melbourne, box was not damaged setting up the TV was easy. I'm super happy with everything. Thanks for a great service.

Quick to Dispatch

I purchased a Samsung Sound Bar from Appliance Central on 11/01/23. It was dispatched within 12 hours and arrived to me in Perth on 16/01/23. It was an excellent price and the delivery fee was very reasonable. The only other vendor that I found online with a similar price, would not deliver to Perth.
Will definitely shop there again.

WORST experience and will not recommend

WORST experience and will not recommend to anyone considering! Terrible delivery team as per other reviews.

Bought a Fisher & Paykel washing machine at a good price for our new home (though the same as Bing Lee - not sure what I was thinking going with these guys!). Delivery was horrible and managed to scratch our doors, leaving a few scratches on our newly laid out floorboards. You could tell it was coming, they were really rough, did not bother to check if the machine would fit between the doors nicely and just wanted to move on to their next job.

Raised this and was told to send an email with photos, no reply after a couple of days. Called for the second time and only after a week, was then bounced to the delivery company (Tiger Express - check their reviews) and did not want to do anything with it. Biggest red flag 🚩 as they should have their own insurance to cover these sorts of accidents. 10 days now since we raised this and have not heard back from either party.

Stay away and stick to your usual (i.e Appliances Online, The Good Guys, Bing Lee)

Appliance Central , Customer service price match

I had bad experience with Appliance Central customer service. I bought the soundbar from there on 05th of April 2022 for $1045 same day the price was dropped to $975 same day I emailed to them for price match and I called them next day the staff said that will lookafter from other department sure you will get reply today but I haven't got. After that I called them 3 to 4 times I got same answer till now I am chasing so far no proper answer yes or no they will match the price and refund .
I feel so bad and I wouldn't buy anything in future also I wouldn't refer to anyone.
