Armishaws Removals & Storage Opiniões 

This was our first move for a number of years so the volume to be moved was extensive.
From initial contact to the final delivery in central France, Armishaws provided exemplary service. Communication was superb and for me the perfect service.
The move was from North Dorset to SW France with a period in store at the depot in Wincanton.
Due to unnecessary complications in the chain, we only had 3 very stressful days to pack before the lorry arrived. Once the Armishaws team took over, the stress lifted.
The team from Armishaws worked like dervishes, swarming all over the house, split in to 2 teams, loading the removal lorry to the roof.
The packing completed the following day to clear the final items.
Just over 2 weeks later, after completion on the new home in France, we were informed that the furniture would arrive the following week.
Communications were perfect, and the lorry arrived on time at 2pm.
I met the lorry at the outskirts of the village and at slow speed guided it through to the village hall car park where the trailer was unhitched, then down the road to unload.
Darin and Ciaren steadily unloaded the vehicle, in 38 degree heat, finally closing the doors of the lorry at 8pm.
One cannot but praise these 2 men, unloading in 6 hours, in the extreme heat, what up to 5 men took one and a half days to load. Luckily we had already installed a fridge and kept them hydrated with chilled water and icecream, as well as a buckets of cold water and cloths to cool down.
Nothing was too much trouble, and they kept smiling and in good humour throughout, despite the heat.

Yes, one or two minor scratches occurred during loading, surprising as how well the loading team had protected the furniture with blankets. But nothing that did not polish out.
I cannot overstate how this 2 man super delivery team performed. A credit to the Company.
If another move was to occur, I would definitely contact Armishaws again.

Great service from start to finish! From first enquiry to completion of the ordering, the office staff communicated well. And the removals went without a hitch. Excellent service from Mike and Kaden who were on time, polite and very speedy with the wrapping/loading!
Definitely recommend!

AN EDITED UPDATE Part 2. in December 2024: after my initial nightmare review of the move from our previous house into Armishaw's Wincanton storage facility, (See the full excruciating experience of Part 1 on Trustpilot 8th Nov 2020,) we later took those possessions out of their storage in Wincanton over Winter 2021/ Spring 2022 directly from their lorry into local storage units.

Many items disappeared but of course we had to sign Terms and Conditions a couple of years later when goods finally started to be moved into our newly renovated house over winter 21/ Spring 22 ... so we have no proof as you would in one direct move ... all I can therefore do is draw attention to our dire experience of both Part 1 and now Part 2.

Posting here after finally unpacking all boxes in 2024, in Devon ... the following were missing: many of my wife's shoes packed in their original boxes, many expensive kitchen pans and a beautiful set of large expensive calving boards and breadboard, costing many £ hundreds ... a long extended set of ladders,(err ... how could you possibly lose such a thing?) ... if we were to do this all over again I would not choose Armishaws

Paul and the team (Luke packing; Taylor unpacking) were like a swarm of locusts, packing a house which we have seen take a team of four twice as long.

Friendly, innovative, helpful.

No damage to walls / door frames - unusual in my experience - and they got items out that had necessitated doors coming off on the way in!

One very small gripe - Paul may need to do a wee bit of training with the lads on packing hats and lampshades. Handily I was getting rid of them anyway.

Outstanding service from beginning to end. Efficient admin. Ben and Sam who did the actual removal were brilliant. Polite, professional and very methodical. They went out of their way to make everything as smooth as possible and made what can be a very stressful event as easy as possible for me. I highly recommend this team and this service.

The Armshaw team have just moved all our belongings from Buckinghamshire to the Wirral. Paul & Martin were fantastic. They took great care of everything and must have walked miles putting everything into a store on the Wirral. I would highly recommend this company.

Ipswich to Hampshire. Paul and Luke arrived promptly, both introduced themselves and before starting the packing/loading they asked us to walk around and show them what needed done. They were extremely efficient, continued to communicate throughout, and were also very friendly. This is our 5th house move and the least stressful one we have had yet, it all went so smoothly. Thank you! ☺️

A friendly crew, Alan and Rohan, on the day of the move, helped de-stress the occasion. Alan managed the loading and unloading, whilst Rohan, a very strong and fit young man, was extremely helpful with everything. Carrying heavier boxes and garden pots was no issue to him. Well done to both.

Moved from London to Taunton. All started off as a good solution, but fell down on communications as to what was happening on the day. When the move happened it was rush, rush, rush both packing and unloading.
Unfortunately we had an Antique table £1000 which was destroyed in the move. Unfortunately their insurance company were unwilling to consider the value apart from their view. I cannot recommend Armishaws, and would not use them again

Paul & Luke were fantastic on the day of packing up and on our completion date.both worked very hard and were happy and willing to place things where we wanted them.
We highly recommend these 2 hard working men.
They are a credit to your company.

Neil visited and was very professional/friendly on providing the competitive quote in a timely manner, felt very secure in asking Armishaws to be our chosen removal company. Provided plenty of boxes to assist our packing.
On the morning of the 21st November the removal team arrived at about 8.30am in awful weather, snow and very cold.
Ben, Raphael and Luke were absolutely brilliant. Professional, helpful although also up for a joke and laugh. Just what you need when the stress levels were a bit high.
The team were very quick to load up, asking questions where necessary but also making their own excellent decisions.
The whole moving experience was made much easier by having such a great team. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Stress-free removal from start to finish. Quotation process dealt with effectively and efficiently by Neil, Ruth in office was friendly and responsive to our queries, and removal team of Ben and Sam provided great service and dealt excellently with everything on the day. Nothing was too much trouble.

Paul and Luke were fantastic from the start. Great communication about their arrival and timings over the two days. The guys were really efficient and considerate throughout our move and went above and beyond to ensure we were sorted. We are a military family with a toddler and a 2 week old baby and they really helped us out during a stressful time.

From the very first contact when a friendly member of the team arrived to survey the job & give us a quote we were impressed. He was thorough & knowledgeable & answered all our questions fully without in any way pushing for the job.
Contact with the office staff via email & telephone as we negotiated the tricky business of ever changing exchange & completion dates was always handled in a friendly & helpful manner. They were totally flexible & unfazed by our constantly changing move dates & always willing to support us & work with us at what was a stressful time. Their price was very fair & ultimately represented very good value for money for the excellent service we received.
The team who arrived on the actual moving day were an outstanding trio of young men. They worked tirelessly through a long & physically challenging day, packing & wrapping every single one of our belongings with care & professionalism. The amazing good grace, cheerful, happy demeanour, banter, sense of humour & sheer stamina shown by the team of Ben, Sam & Raph was awesome & we hope they get the recognition they deserve within the company.
On the day we moved in we were served by an equally impressive duo of Darin & Coleair. They had started the job at 5am, driven the lorry North for 6hours, waited around for completion & were still friendly, courteous & full of energy for the job ahead. In difficult conditions parked outside on a busy road with traffic streaming past they hauled all our belongings up the sloping drive & up two or three floors. Again they showed total professionalism, care & concern for our stuff & for us as customers. They worked tirelessly but still always with a smile & a joke. They were outstanding in their attention to detail & in ensuring the highest standard of customer care. They are both an asset to the company & we cannot recommend the whole team at Armishaws highly enough. From start to finish they made the whole moving experience a painless & even pleasant experience! We would never use anyone else.

Paul and Luke were fantastic. They packed the house up in less than two hours before moving everything 100s of miles and unloading it the same day. Extremely friendly and professional service throughout. I would highly recommend Armishaws for your removal needs.

Mike & Taylor packed our 4 bed house in 4 hours, brilliant. We then had a load of hassle the following day with completion down to my buyers solicitors but eventually got into new house at 4pm, with the help of Martin, the 2 lorries were unpacked, correct location for furniture and boxes in all rooms by 5.30!! Excellent service and so professional, highly recommend 👏.

Excellent service. Darin, Cole and Rory were all very helpful and accomplished the removal and delivery in a very careful and professional manner.

The team of removers, lead by Darrin were helpful, polite and considerate of both us and our neighbours. They were also efficient and very hardworking. Themed involved were:
Darin, Coleair, Connor, Andy, Gary, Alex and Karen.
The move started on 11 November and finished on 13 November 2024.

Just to update on my review of 8th October. I have still had no satisfaction from Armishaws. Their idea of "reaching a settlement" is to refuse to offer any more than has already been offered. I am told that the evidence I provided of the value of damaged and lost items was unacceptable and it was suggested by their legal department that I use evidence from Facebook Marketplace which in my opinion is no more reliable that the evidence I provided. Furthermore they refuse to consider any form of compensation for the bad service we received despite having admitted that there were faults and having admitted that two members of staff were sacked in consequence. I say again, steer clear of them.
If they had made any attempt to behave more reasonably in the situation I would not feel forced to warn others of their attitude and business practice in this case. They say I have been aggressive, is it any wonder when they have been so obtuse.
I doubt they will like this review any more than my last one.
