I ordered a dress for £49.99 mid march, when ot arrived it was not suitable due to the poor quality. I contact them and return it to China at the end of March which cost me £20. Three months later it was returned to me stating Unclaimed. I again contacted customer service by email and did not hear anything. I am now £70 out of pocket. What a scam, would never order from them again. BEWARE !!

I have lost count of how many times I have tried to arrange a viewing for a property with this agent. No one ever picks up or calls you back when you leave a message! Terrible customer service.

I bought a property from Ashtons St Albans. I was the easiest and quickest buyer they can have, but upon moving in, their seller left it in a disgusting state. I asked for their help about loads of rubbish left in the filthy house. Sales Coordinator Louise Walker and Claudia Reynolds from their office didn't treat me fairly and had no courtesy to return my calls or answer my emails. They failed to contact the seller directly to leave the house in an acceptable condition or try to resolve the situation. I am a disappointed and unhappy buyer.

On several occasions now I’ve called or emailed to request a viewing on the same day it’s listed, to then be told they aren’t taking anymore viewings. Seems utter craziness. We haven’t even been asked our situation and I’m sure the sellers would rather cash buyers with no chain to be allowed to view their property.
I was told I’d get a call when something else Comes up but each time it does I never receive any notification.

York branch need to sort themselves out. Not good at all.

Did not do their due diligence properly on our prospective buyers such that they pulled out at the last minute even though we found out later that most other estate agents in our area knew of these people and their reputation for doing this. As we were already tied in to buying another property we were forced sellers and had to accept a substantially lower offer for a quick sale. Cost us a small fortune due to Ashtons poor work. Avoid!

The fact that you cannot view a property without having a mortgage in principle! If every estate agent was like that the whole entire market would not operate as nobody would be able to view any properties without a sale which they couldn’t get without someone viewing their property! Utter madness and very ill thought by Ashtons. No other estate agent is being that difficult.

Buying a used car, even prestige cars, can be a minefield regarding who to buy from, I can't recommend Ashtons highly enough. Great communication from the initial contact, very helpful during the covid lockdown in reserving the car for me until travel bans were lifted.

Even though we had an issue with the transaction initially, they were very understanding and helpful in getting it resolved. I came away with a truly exceptional car I intend on keeping for a long time.
