I was a bit disappointed with the time it took to dispatch my order - I think it was almost a week (after date of order given below) and it was only dispatched after I had phoned to see what was happening.
The person I spoke to was very helpful but couldn't see why there had been a delay. Once dispatched it arrived quickly (sent 1st class - I wondered if was this because of the delay in processing my order??
Everything in the order arrived in good condition.

Firstly, the on-line catalogue. Navigation is clear so identifying your product is easy.
Purchasing is just as easy. I have an account which assists in that easiness.
The item came securely wrapped and was what I ordered. Although this is of no consequence, it took, perhaps, a day or two longer than previous similar items this time.

Enjoy the magazine.
Always something I want to read despite there being a good many which are not where I am in my faith journey, (I am a quaker)

The delivery of my last book was much longer than usual.

I waited 5 months for the book emails were ignored phone calls to customer services cut off without being answered. As I needed the book I ordered elsewhere and it was delivered 2 days later.
I am unlikely to order from you again

My wife and I have been using a Church Pocket Book and Diary for a few years and Aslan sold them at the best price.
It is a pity that there where only 2 colours to choose from, also I am not keen to the large SPCK label on the back of the Diary.
However it does what it says on the tin, the lectionary being particularly useful.

I agree with the last few comments on this site, I think the company has closed. Over the years Aslan Christian Books has given me excellent service but yesterday when I telephoned I kept getting the engaged tone and when I sent an email I got no reply.

I think this company has gone. I have dealt with them over many years but I placed an order on 12th May which has not been received. I have had no indication it is delayed and they are now impossible to contact. emails via website or direct are ignored as are messages via Facebook. If you try ringing the phone is either engaged (probably because others are doing the same) or there is an out of order single tone.

I have previously had excellent service from Aslan Books. However, I am still waiting for a pre ordered book I purchased a while ago.

I have contacted Aslan twice via their contact form and no one has replied to update me. I find this extremely poor customer service. Also it is impossible to speak to them in the phone as their line is permanently engaged.

I do hope someone gets back to me soon as I feel like I have ‘hit a brick wall.’

Everything was fine till my order arrived. It was fairly rapid, and packaged well.
When I opened it up, the contents...a bible was fine, except when I opened up the book.
The print was so small, I couldnt read it,even with new reading glasses on!
Ive been trying to contact customer services at Aslan with no success at all.
Ive sent emails, and tried to ring. No one gets back to me! No phone number to use.
I dont know what difficulties others are having with Aslan, but I feel a bit annoyed about it.

On the 1st of May I ordered a Bible, it was for a birthday. Nothing said, on the website, that the book wasn't in stock. On the 12th of May I sent them a message, asking why I hadn't received my Bible yet. I was told, a few days later, that the publication date for this Bible had been put back to the 10th of June. I asked for it to be delivered after the 15th as I was away for a few days. I never received the Bible. For three weeks I have been trying to contact them, by leaving messages, sending emails, trying to call them (their line is permanently engaged) every day. I am just asking a refund, as the Bible was for a birthday and it is long passed now... I am absolutely furious that this company, which claim to be Christian, has so little respect for their customers. They are unprofessional and unreliable.

This is for a present, will be hopefully be liked. Well packaged.
