Excellent service. Tyres ordered on the Tuesday, arrived on the Wednesday and then they managed to squeeze me in on the Thursday for fitting. Friendly staff and will use again as good value.

They have not reset the service warning on the dash. I was not advised when they took receipt of my vehicle. As I went to leave saw warning told you will have to go to dealer. The returned they tried said didn’t have info to do. Then said call following Wednesday told there would be no charge. When phoned which done agreed should be done. The when called today said if booked online should have read terms. I have read cannot see anyway why not told before carried out work it’s an old Land Rover. So no not happy paying £130 now have to find dealer to fix. I appreciate this depot soon to change hands but team very negative. Can you help me? 07815910622 Mel

On Tuesday 6th April I phoned ATS at their Westhoughton branch intending to purchase a tyre for a spare steel wheel that I had acquired for my Fiat Ducato Camper Van. Not being 100 percent sure the steel wheel was the correct fit for my van I asked if they would take an existing wheel off the van and test if the steel spare wheel was the correct fit before fitting a tyre to it. I was advised "we are too busy to mess about with this, you are better off doing it yourself". Previously this branch was happy to fit 4 Michelin Cross Climate tyres to my car, but on this occasion not prepared to help even though what I asked them to do would require lass work than a normal tyre change as there was no tyre to remove. I for one will never use ATS again as they appear to have no concept of customer service.

Very pleased had issue with air con needed recharging. They managed to do it straight away. This branch has always been very helpful will be missed when it closes

The work they did was good, but they tried to overcharge me by approx. £50. I challenged the final cost as it was more than I had been quoted. I asked what else had been done and he said 'the brakes were really dirty' (as opposed to just 'dirty'). When I came to collect and challenged the final cost, the staff member then said something along the lines of 'well I could do it for [the original price]' and could not provide an explanation for why I had been charged an extra £50. Really disappointed as I've had great experience with them before and the staff, but will now be avoiding in future and going with a more trusted garage.

The work they do is good, but be wary of what you're being charged, make sure you can get a quote before work is done and ask exactly what has been done when you go to collect.
