The competitions themselves are great ,as are the prizes. But the issue is they never seem to process postal entries, which is part of the gambling commission UK legislation! I buy tickets online with my account & on the big competitions send in several separate postal entries, to increase my odds of winning, & totally as they require, but never get this entry added or site credit for me to add it! Also I see many other people saying the same thing! So this is where Bear competitions fall down, & not do as they say. They offer postal entry online, but don't actually process them when you send them in. And I have done many, & not had one postal entry added. Paid online entries done instantly! The gambling commission UK should look into this, as so many people have the same experience!

Still running an illegal lottery. I broached this subject back in September. They haven't replied to any of my emails. The latest postal entry was sent first class on the 7th January for a competition taking place on the 25th of January. No ticket or credit has been added to my account, no correspondence. Still blocked from their Facebook page for no reason whatsoever. Just look at the overall rating of this company compared to others. I'll revisit my complaint to the GC about Bear Competitions.

Still not sure if these guys are legit.

I won a large amount of money from them on Dec 26 and heard nothing from them except for an auto-email saying I'd won a prize. Given it was the Xmas period and then New Year's, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited till Jan 5 to message again. I emailed them and used the form on their website. I got a Whatsapp from them on Tuesday 6th Jan saying their emails to me had not been delivering (which was odd since I had received other emails from the same address just not about my win).
They asked for my id and bank details which was strange as I had already uploaded them and saved them on their website. I assume the message must be legit and sent the details through. I got HALF the money a day later. I was told they would send me some marketing materials which I needed to pose with in a photo, send the photos in and then I would get the other half of the win. This is a highly unusual practice and I have not experienced this with any other competition site where I have won a prize. I will also say that with other sites I usually immediately get a message via Whatsapp informing me of my win. I have never had to wait 2 weeks for a large win to come through (admittedly my other wins have been smalled but those sites even responded to me over the Xmas/New Year's period). I took the photos and sent them in and got the remaining money sent to me.
All of this prompted me to do some research into the company on Companies House and I see they have been threatened with having their registration removed previously (it didn't say why).
I still have some wallet credit to spend on their site but I am not sure I will be using them again after this experience. I count myself lucky to have gotten my win at all (I have spent quite a lot with them) and thought I was going to end up with a major loss. Will update my review if I see an improvement in due course.

I’m not saying this companies not legit but it lacks a lot of transparency most other Raffle sites give! I’ve been a regular for about a year now so regardless of this review the company have won off me. I give the 1 star as so people are wary this could very well be a scam.

I entered mainly the big ‘win a villa’ type prizes the villas would be worth 1.7mil but the cash prize would be 1mil with the player responsible for all fees and no cash with the win making it virtually impossible for anyone to actually be able to pick the villa this obviously makes it a big win for bear as you’d take a much lesser prize.

As for transparency on winner there latest one doesn’t look like the draw was live on YouTube (don’t use social media) and no one has been posted as such on the website a lot off 1k winners no one else.

Staff numbers average 5 over the last 12 months meaning a very small operation for the amount of punters. My constructive criticism would be employ some more people and professionalise the whole thing maybe not use the third party competition site and focus on marketing the wins etc…. (If legit of course)

Till further notice I will not be entering anymore and others should give it a second thought!

This website is genuine and even small players win prizes. Tonight I purchased ten tickets and won a the pounds

Won the instant prize of 1000 pounds, went straight in can’t complain at all good service and some good competitions with low odd definitely have a go

I never check the draw results or my emails for that matter, was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Bear Competitions telling me I had won £1000 on an instant win. payment came through straight away!

I entered the competition for the Audi Q8 due to be drawn on Friday evening. The draw was postponed until Saturday because of power issues (storm Amy). Fair enough. Saturday has since been and gone and we are approaching Sunday afternoon with no further communication/updates on when this draw will take place. There's been a few people asking about this on social media with no reply. This is unprofessional - the tickets weren't cheap!

Done a few competitions and never won anything until last night ! I won an instant prize and have nothing but praise for the swift dealing by Bear Competitions in payment, and everything else. I have watched a few draws and seen my name on the site and Owen, the guy who does the draw live, is funny and all clear and transparent. Still in shock I have won something and will be loading up on more draws. Thanks once again to Bear Competitions. Great competition company 👍

Nothing was resolved and was blocked on socials.

The company use a random number generator from google search.. this isn’t very professional and I spent a lot of money on tickets for a draw that should have been done by a ball machine, there was also 149,999 possible tickets and only 130,000 ish sold, so they set it to 149,999????? Knowing that it could get re rolled?????????? This isn’t the correct way to run a company, I fully am against this and do not trust these people anymore. Fake, insider wins.

Doesn't Process Postal Entries - I sent in multiple postal entries for a recent competition and followed their terms and conditions to the tee, but there was no evidence that I was actually entered. There was nothing to see in the "Recent tickets" or "Recent orders" section of my account. I tried reaching out to them multiple times via instagram and also via their contact page on their website, but I've not heard anything back for nearly two weeks now. Unfortunately I feel like this is the only way I can try to get their attention about this!

BEAR competition are the BEST in the Business with great prizes ...

Don't give my email address to third parties without my explicit consent, even if it's a review site. You have no right to do this. Observe the GDPR/DPA, it's there for a reason.
