Put a £1,000 holding deposit down on a Discovery 5 because it was supposedly being sold with a valid Land Rover warranty. After doing some digging myself, I found out the car hadn’t even been serviced until over 31,000 miles. Spoke to Land Rover directly and they confirmed that voids the warranty.
Tried sorting it with Matt and Sam, but Sam apparently knows better than Land Rover themselves and insisted the warranty was still valid. Absolute joke.
They then refused to return my deposit, so I went through my bank instead and got the money back that way. Says everything you need to know really.
Wish I’d read the reviews before dealing with them, because the stories about their aftersales being useless clearly aren’t exaggerated. I didn’t even make it past the deposit stage before it turned into a headache.
Plenty of better dealers out there — save yourself the stress and avoid this place.

I picked up my car 2 days ago and so far everything seems great! Matthew was extremely kind and pleasant and throughout. during our encounter, he explained the whole process to me as the car was sourced for me! The man who also cleaned my car was lovely and very welcoming. I felt valued and would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. The car does not seem to have faults in terms of driving, although a sensor light does show up intermittently which i will monitor and may contact beck evans if it continues

Part exchange offered was between £12k - £15k. I know trade for my vehicle is at least £15k. Selling private for over £20k with loads of extras. Very disappointed in experience.
First impressions are very important to me as I believe that sets the tone of the future transactions.
Won’t be purchasing a vehicle here.

I bought the car and found out a few months later that it had more horsepower added and options that were not installed by BMW. This locked up my car system when the software was reinstalled. Beckevans did not want to take any responsibility for selling a car like this. Now, i have to pay 250£ to unlock the car system . I do not recommend it.

disappointing and stressful expereince
I don’t normally write reviews like this, but my experience with Beck Evans has caused so much stress for me and my family that I feel I need to share it. I bought a vehicle from them believing it would be reliable for our large family. Instead, it has been one problem after another.
Not long after buying it, I started noticing issues and later discovered signs that the car may have had previous accident damage and welding work that I did not know about when I purchased it. The engine problems developed quickly too, and after having the car checked by two independent garages, they both told me the issues seemed related to the coolant system and possibly the head gasket. Hearing this was devastating.
Because we rely heavily on this vehicle, these problems turned our lives upside down. We had to cancel planned family trips because the car simply wasn’t safe to drive. Trying to explain to the kids why we couldn’t go was honestly heartbreaking.
What has made everything even harder is the lack of communication. I’ve reached out multiple times, hoping for support or even just some acknowledgment, but getting a response has been incredibly difficult. It feels like we’ve been left to deal with everything on our own.
At this point, since I haven’t been able to resolve things directly, I feel I have no choice but to consider starting small-claims proceedings. This whole situation has caused so much stress and disappointment, and I truly hope no other family has to go through what we’ve experienced.

We did a deal by phone and on collection day it was as described the handover was great
After a 250 mile drive home through many roadworks and torrential rain I am now looking at the car and realise it was worth it

All Sales No Care
Initially impressed, but the aftercare was disappointing. Warranty sold as covering DPF faults, yet I was told only £300 applied. Took weeks of chasing to get the repair done free of charge. Still no response about the misrepresentation or refund. Communication was poor—missed calls, no follow-up. Would advise caution.

Avoid at all costs – misleading and appalling aftercare
We travelled 6 hours to collect a vehicle that was advertised and sold to us as an XLWB High Roof. On arrival, it turned out to be a completely different specification. Despite this clear misadvertisement, the dealership refused to offer any compensation for the wasted journey and inconvenience.
To make matters worse, the van broke down on the way home because they hadn’t even connected the battery properly. We are now in dispute with them over these issues, and their responses so far have been dismissive and unprofessional.
Buying a vehicle is a serious investment – you expect honesty, accuracy, and basic checks. Sadly, this dealership delivered none of those. Be very careful before handing over your money.

Audi Q8 - Great Overall Experience
I bought a Q8 from them Sept24. After driving away, the car had multiple problems and as I was a distance buyer, Warwick/Sidcup, I was concerned. However, BE came, collected the car, provided a temp car and got most of my issues sorted. The only issue I did have was with their local Audi dealer (Bexhill) who did the required works. They were shocking.
I can’t recommend BE enough as they do follow through with their commitments to you as a buyer. Their workshop manager (Billy) has very high integrity.
I am also very pleased with the warranty package they offer (Autoguard). I purchased one with a labour rate that can pay dealer labour rates. When I used it for the first time, they even answered the phone to the claims line almost immediately (perhaps I got the timing right!).
I recommend BE to anyone, and would certainly look at their stock before I go elsewhere in future.

UNPROFESSIONAL DRIVING
If you want your car transported by these people i would avoid ! The dangerous driving by their driver in their Land Rover GN24WLL With the trailer attached. Exited M25 j3, Intentional wrong lane usage because their to good to que it appears. Proceeds to Cut off a HGV to go 1st exit for Swanley.

Not fit for purpose mercedes
I bought a car from you guys and the start/stop has never worked and also seatbelt light came on from about day 2. I never thought of it as a big issue but when I think about 2 faults on a 20k car is just not on is it guys?
The date of purchase was not 06/02/25 it was 3 years ago but none the less this review is worth being here so people know the type of cars you sell.
If you want to contact me to resolve these issues let me know, then I can come back here and let people know at least you rectify your faults.

esterday and I'm very pleased. From start to finish Beck Evans we're on point. I'd like to thank Ben and the team for getting the car ready (it looked stunning) and true to their word they carried out the work required before collection and with no corners cut. Top marks, with no hassle - will recommend them without issue.

I had a positive experience overall with Beck Evans, rating them 4 stars. The process was smooth from start to finish, with Matt and Ben providing excellent service during part exchange and purchase. Rob was also friendly and engaging, making everything seamless. Communication via email, text, and phone was great, thanks to Andrew and Ben. Despite a hiccup with the part exchange value at one point, the team managed to resolve issues efficiently. The car I purchased was immaculate upon collection, and I would consider doing business with them again.

Amazing from start to finish
Amazing from start to finish. Honest, genuine people, selling great quality cars at great prices. Matt and Ben were great, smooth process in part exchanging my car and purchasing the new car. On collection day the car was perfectly presented, immaculate inside out. I’ll definitely be coming back. Very happy.
