Very helpful assistant in the store, ordered on line and gained an additional £50 discount and was able to purchase via the Avios APP and collect 8 air miles for every £1 spent.

Purchased a new mattress from Bensons for Beds. A really good experience from trying and buying in the shop. Really good advice given from the manager. Delivery was prompt (about a week). Delivery guys were helpful, well mannered and efficient. Can’t fault the service we’ve received. Thank you.

I spent over £2,000 on two beds and…
I spent over £2,000 on two beds and waited three weeks for delivery. I paid extra for delivery and assembly, expecting a professional service.
A few days before the scheduled delivery, I still hadn't received my delivery time, so I contacted the store. That's when I was told there had been a problem and they couldn't deliver on the agreed date. The only alternative they offered was another date weeks later, which was completely unacceptable as I had already planned around the original delivery.
When I decided to cancel because they had failed to honour the agreed delivery, I was told I could be charged a 20% cancellation fee because it was more than seven days after placing the order. Expecting a customer to pay a cancellation fee when the company is the one that failed to deliver as promised is unbelievable.
The whole experience was stressful, frustrating and handled very poorly. Customer service showed little flexibility or understanding, despite the problem being entirely on their side.
I cancelled the order, went to IKEA instead, bought two beds and mattresses the same day, took them home, assembled them myself, and saved myself a lot more waiting and hassle.
I would not recommend Benson for Beds Basingstoke. Poor communication, poor customer service, and a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

We are truly sorry to hear about the incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience you had with your recent order. We can see your original delivery date was set to go ahead but the time slot on this day was not convenient for you, we do apologise we were unable to change this time slot when you requested and instead offered alternative days for you to accept delivery. I understand the 20% cancellations charge was a disappointment to you, however the delivery was not delayed due to an issue with ourselves therefore the charge was applied. We will however take your feedback on board.
