Exceptional customer service. Stephen fully explained every detail and difference of each mattress but never pushed too hard for the sale. It felt like a full bespoke service rather than just another sale on the books

Visited Craigleith Retail Store, Edinburgh and was initially served by Ashley. After seeing the mattress I wished to purchase but not until I had given it some thought I left the store with my son. While leaving the store and being at the door Ashley shouted across the store from the desk and made me aware that same mattress would be eligible for a 10% discount so long as I ordered it in store before Tuesday. This was Wednesday and I returned the following day, Thursday, and bought the mattress in full having been served by Tom. Tom shook my hand before and after the sale managing not to be able to read my body language which I felt was creepy. He again and again pointed out what costs I would be liable for if I changed my mind about the purchase or if I changed my mind and wanted Bensons to take my old mattress away and also told me out dated information on how much the council charges for uplifting bulking items. He does not seem the type that likes to be contradicted. The 10% discount was not awarded which I did not notice until I got home and phoning the store the next day Tom said the offer was finished even thought the sign was still displayed but to speak with Ashley who is the manager as the discount is at the managers discretion. I complained about the how uncomfortable and creepy it was having to shake his hand but he most certainly did not take this on board in a misogynist, sexist manner. I phoned Ashley the following day who denied he made the offer of the 10% discount and actually told me I wasn't to feel bad about it in a gas lighting manner and he most certainly did not take on board about the creepy hand shakes given by his colleague. I gave up when he started to repeat himself and again told me not the feel bad. Perhaps more female sales assistants required to even things out.

We bought two great beds from them. The service was very helpful, friendly and competent. The price of the beds was excellent too. All in all a very good experience!

Salesman, Steven, explained properties of each mattress fully, then left us to try out each one several times before we made a decision. He also explained details of what would happen after purchase if the mattress didn’t suit us and was very friendly without being pushy.

Really pleased, I bought 2 beds which are fantastic. After I bought them I realised a week later they’d went down £50 in price, I asked if they would refund the difference and they did quickly and easily. It was also super easy to change delivery dates. Great item & customer service.

All week got text about that date followed by phone call which I confirmed still OK for delivery. Then 2 hours later receive a text to say apologies bed will be delivered later in month. I could have went to somewhere like ikea and took bed home that day. However bensons assured me in stock and delivery was scheduled. Benson don't take money on empty promises. As I have since discovered the bed was not even in warehouse. So my guests had to sleep on floor. Now I need to spend another day shopping for bed elsewhere.

Friendly welcoming staff helped us through the whole process clearly and adequately from start to finish.

Purchased 3 beds now.
No hard sales pitch, comfortable beds.
Eveyone comments on how comfortable a nights sleep they have if they stay over.

Steven was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. He simplified the process and helped us narrow down our decision. We haven't got our new mattress yet so can't comment, but Benson's 40 night trial is good peace of mind.

The salesman, Stephen, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He struck the right balance between giving us time and space on our own and support in making a decision.

Ashley looked after us and gave us time to talk and think over what we were looking for instead of pestering and hanging over us like most stores you go to for furniture etc.

Gary made our experience finding the perfect bed easy!! He explained everything in depth but also in a way that was easy to understand. I got to test out the range of beds also, which helped with making the decision. Could not speak more highly of Gary and the service he provider for myself and mum

The staff member that helped us was great he explained a little to us then left up in peace to browse then when we ready to he came back and helped narrow down mattresses to two choices in less than 10 mins all with our preferences! All was simple and easy to do. He was friendly and knowledgeable!
