Not a great customer service experience at all. Firstly told I need to arrange my own delivery as the delivery driver for the store was on holiday. Then had to arrange a pay hourly van to collect my items and was advised by the store 2 days prior that my order was ready to collect. Get to the shop and my order was not ready and added an extra hour onto my van hire due to the wait times to prepare my items. When at the store, I was spoken to with utter disrespect from the staff. Granted he did apologise for his behaviour and explained that he had been "left alone" to do everything because his manager had "disappeared" however I had to explain to the staff member that this is not his customers fault and he should not have taken it out on the customer. I would never, ever, recommend the Oldham store. The staff are disgraceful and the experience was horrific.

Visited the store at Elk Mill. The young lady was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. Different options were explained to us and we were able to browse freely once we knew what we were looking for.
Would recommend.

Browsed the showroom, chose my mattress then completed my purchase,,in and out just the type of hassle free shopping I like .
One thing I will add though in retrospect , £50 delivery for a mattress that you’ve just spent hundreds on ,is I believe excessive . That’s why I elected to get it home myself when it arrives , hope it’s not raining…

Delivery was on time. Delivery men Chris and Ryan were very polite. They put shoe covers on to protect our carpets.

Great customer services

Ours customer service agent Shannon was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, helping us to select the best bed frame for us given our quite selective requirements. Also we felt no pressure to purchase and indeed didn’t until our second visit and felt just as welcome that time too.

The removal of the old mattress and delivery of the new one was very smooth and efficient

This is the second time I’ve been in in the space of about a year and I met Shannon the first time and again this time round. She is really lovely and relatable … and very helpful going above and behind to assist my indecisive self!! She has only just returned to her role at bensons so her colleague was also helping as more up to speed … I can’t remember his name but he loves mountain bikes and both of them made me feel like their only customer of the day and went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Nearly persuaded me to get the TV bed too other than the dimensions weren’t right! Can’t wait to receive my new bed thanks again guys!

I was approached on entering, and greeted and asked if I wanted any help. I was wary as I don’t like pushy sales people but I was so wrong. The staff member was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and showed me exactly what I was looking for.
Shannon took time to explain the advantages, warranties etc of the sealy mattress and then guided us in choosing a bed frame and headboard.
What a star. So engaging and helpful.

We was left to walk around the store at our own pace, we didn't have anyone bother us until we asked for help.

I’m very happy with my mattress purchase from Benson for Beds. The online ordering process was simple and convenient – the website offers a wide range of options and it’s great to be able to read real customer reviews before making a decision.
Before ordering, I visited the store to try out different mattresses and find the one that felt right for me. Afterwards, I went back to the website, read through the reviews, and placed my order online with confidence.

The member of staff took time to listen to me about what I needed, showed me options then arranged for me to bring my partner (wheelchair user) in to try them. He spent ages with us, making sure we could access what we needed, swapped mattresses and bases for us to get us the right one. Made us feel really valued.

The person who met us with a smile and enquired what we were looking for she showed us 2 options with no pressure

2nd delivery attempt after they missed the first one, on a day I advised was unsuitable but they still put me on the list for a delivery and they arrived at 10.30pm to install two bookcases in a child’s bedroom with no shelves or fittings. 6 days later and still no contact from them to advise when the shelves will be with us and the cases finally assembled.
