Very informative staff very helpful and got us the deal we wanted within our budget

I purchased an iGel pillow from Benson for Beds. The sales assistant who sold it to me was very friendly and provided a very detailed introduction. However, after using the pillow for only a few days, I noticed that it quickly became flat.

A few days later, I brought the pillow back to the store, simply to ask whether this was normal (I was not asking for a refund or exchange). Unfortunately, the sales assistant on duty that day was not very friendly. Even before I took the pillow out, they insisted that there was no problem with it. No matter what I said, they repeatedly claimed that it was “normal.”

I compared my pillow with the display pillow in the store in terms of firmness, and they still said it was normal. They even stated that the softness and firmness were normal without properly examining my pillow.

Does this mean that once a product is sold, customers are no longer welcome to ask questions or raise concerns?

What made it great : they delivered our new mattress and took the old one away.. Their on line tracker for the delivery van is great, the delivery team were fantastic.

What was not so great, the way I have been pestered ever since to leave a bloody review on here !

Thank you for your excellent service! I visited the Reading branch store (rose kiln lane). The staff I spoke to was helpful and assisted me in selecting a mattress that was suitable for my needs.

We were advised well in shop but also not pestered which made it a good experience. Delivery was perfect and the drivers very friendly and informative all round great experience thank you

We phoned from Witney today asking the lady sales person if they had a rhea tv bed we could see in store , she assured us they had one , even after checking twice that this one was in the showroom she said yes
We drove 2 hours today to see this particular bed frame , when we went in she tried to tell us that a different bed was a rhea and when we said no because we want the beige and this is only in grey she admitted they didn’t have one , but she said the store in forbury definitely had one , we went there and no bed either ….surprise surprise

Good range and well explained by the salesperson

We arrived early at the Reading store not sure exactly what we wanted other than adjustable beds. The store manager, Mr Muhammad was welcoming, informstive and easy to talk to about our needs. We placed an order and now await our new beds.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. Steered us to the bed that best met our needs and not just the most expensive.

The whole experience with Bensons for Beds has been effortless and we have purchased a new mattress that is exactly what we wanted.
The store staff were very professional and helpful.
We have been kept up to date on our order and emailed with delivery date and times. There is even a tracker to show you how far away the delivery vehicle is! The delivery men were friendly and professional and were in and out very quickly. They took away our old mattress, and took their shoes off at the front door. We would recommend Bensons for Beds, Reading.

We had two double ottoman bed and the price was slashed by 25% so got a quality product at reasonable price. Sales executive supported us very well to show around. But the price for assembly was too high around 95/ bed and disassembling was 50 so bit expansive compared to to the market.
