We told Marie what sort of bed we wanted and how it will be used quite infrequently. She showed us the options and didn't try to upsell us to a more expensive bed.
Having initially just gone to have a look at what was on offer we were impressed enough to place an order, especially as there was flexibility with the delivery date.
Happy to recommend both Marie and the Stockton store.

Bensons on Portrack Lane IGEL 4000I
Marie from Bensons on Portrack Lane in Stockton was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our bed. So far, I'm very happy and sleeping well. I was surprised it took 28 days from order to delivery though.
The delivery itself was very efficient, and Mr's Andy Mac and Andy P called to confirm delivery the day before, and on the day of delivery called to give us an estimated time of arrival. They were very efficient and respectful of us and our home. Even recommending taking a couple of pictures off of the stairway wall to prevent damage which we had not thought about.
My recommendation for service improvement is that if you usually provide a couple of pillows with the mattresses you sell, it's poor form to stop the practice during your sales. After all, a poor pillow can affect how well you sleep on your new mattress.
Also, find a way to deliver earlier. A mattress is a major, expensive purchase. It shouldn't take nearly a month to deliver.

We truly appreciate you sharing your experience with us. It's wonderful to hear that our team member provided knowledgeable assistance and that you are enjoying your new bed. We are also pleased that our delivery team offered such efficient and thoughtful service.
We acknowledge your feedback regarding the delivery timeframe and the absence of complimentary pillows during sales. We understand how important these aspects are to a complete and satisfying purchase, especially for a significant item like a mattress. We are always looking for ways to improve our services and delivery efficiency, and your comments are invaluable as we review our current practices. Thank you for bringing these points to our attention.

Friendly & knowledgable staff.
Used a machine to dial in the type of support mattress needed ie. soft mediun firm etc.
Delivery quick and efficient, mattress delivered to bedroom and old one removed although this does cost extra.

Good service throughout
We visited the Stockton on Tees store where Marie helped us choose a new bed head. She listened carefully to us about what kind of thing we wanted, and took us to see examples that could appeal to us, as well as discussing the various fabric options available.
She has a friendly approachable manner and guided us through the order process.
After making our order we were kept up to date over the progress of the order and a firm delivery date was given. As expected, we had a phone call from the delivery team, both called Andy, and it was delivered on time by a friendly member of your team.
