Great communication
Excellent customer service. Cannot praise Better Equipped enough for their prompt service and great communication. We had a few teething problems our end which resulted in a few issues with placing orders. Alisha and Jayne in particular have been fantastic at helping come to a very happy outcome all round.

Poor service.
Ordered some glass conicals for a play on 26th April and told it was a 5 day despatch. I chased this up on 2nd May to be told that it was going out that day and would be with me on 3rd May. Nothing arrived so rang them again on 7th May after the Bank Holiday to be told it still had not been sent even though a staff member told me on 2nd that it was going to sent out. The only way for me to get this in time is to pay extra to get it first class so the poor service has to be at the expense of the trusting customer. Also stated on the invoice that there was a free chocolate bar in the box which was also absent. Poor service and being fibbed to by staff members means that I will not be using or recommending this company again.

We are very sorry to hear you have not had a good experience with your order or our communications. Looking at your order, we had a stock error which was not known to the call handler at the time of the calls, for this we can only profusely apologise. We have since carried out training so all staff members have better visibility to any stock issues that may occur so they can better advise over the phone. Our usual despatch time is approximately 5 working days but we do have the option to pay for express delivery which, if the order is placed before 12pm, will allow us to ship on a next day delivery.
We are saddened to hear you did not receive your chocolate, if you would like to contact us on sales@betterequipped.co.uk we hope we to get the issues you have faced rectified for you.
Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused, this is not the level of service we aim to offer.

Return Customer - Great Experience!
This is probably the 4th or 5th time we have used Better Equipped since discovering them. We tend to order products from a particular manufacturer and Better Equipped have always been cheaper than the competition (cheaper than going direct to the manufacturer as well). Customer service is always really good - the team will keep you up to date with any bespoke orders which might have a slightly longer lead time. Jess Thornton in the customer service team deserves a special mention – she is always prompt in getting back to you should you have any questions which is another plus. Oh and of course there is the free choccy bar with every order....little wins :-) Wouldn't hesitate recommending Better Equipped - been an ease to deal with. Thanks!

Superb Professional Service.

Amazing Customer Service
Amazing Customer Service. Always keep you on the loop with delivery dates, stock dates and even when we didn't qualify for a freebie we requested, due to being ordered via our Procurement System and not their website, they still sent it to us out of goodwill. I would definitely recommend their products and nothing is ever a problem with them, always helpful and very customer service focused, 10/10!!

What can I say, a colleague recommended this company to me and I shan’t now be going back to the old one that I used to buy from.
The service from Better Equipped was fantastic from start to finish. For the one product (out of a very large order….impressive in itself) that they didn’t have in stock, they kept me informed throughout.
I can see why they are called Better Equipped, because they really are better equipped.
Also, the perfect amount of packaging i.e. enough to protect my goods but absolutely no more than was necessary.

Great experience from start to finish
Having browsed their catalogue I was amazed by the number and variety of items they had in stock.
Ordering was easy, delivery was prompt and the packaging was excellent. The free chocolate and pen enclosed made me smile and added to my good experience with Better Equipped

Very comprehensive range so I was able to find exactly what I needed at a competitive price. I was lucky enough to get a bonus free gift which has actually proved very useful. Ordered on a Monday and products arrived 2 days later.

Speedy and reliable
Better equipped have a large choice of stock, so I managed to find exactly what I was after. The ordering process was quick and easy. My delivery came within 2 days of ordering, even sooner than estimated, and everything was as expected. Will be using again.

Excessive Plastic Packaging
Packaging of 100 plastic measuring cylinders each in a sealed plastic bag (all with a hole in the middle so can't re use!) within a larger plastic bag in a cardboard box.
Why are you not using biodegradable packaging? Totally inexcusable in these times.

We have been using biodegradable airflow and biodegradable bubble wrap for some time, we also use boxes made in the UK from recycled cardboard. In the case of the measuring cylinders being placed in plastic bags, this is how the global manufacturer delivers the measuring cylinders to us as many of their customers insist on each cylinder being individually wrapped for hygiene purposes. In line with our desire to continuously improve we have lobbied the global manufacturer to find a solution to either use biodegradable plastic or in our case to remove the plastic bag altogether. We would like to thank you for choosing to order from Better Equipped in the first place and we hope you were happy with all other elements of our service.
