I purchased these hair extensions from the company Better Lenghts and they stated on their website that it is 100% Returnable as long as its not opened or used. SO i did NOT open it or use them. They said they will refund my money once i ship the hair back to them in CHINA! I live in the USA. Its $200 to ship it to China!!! The hair only cost $200. So you want me to ship it back for $200 and then you will refund me $200?? Now i am still in debt by $200! How is that legal???

Its total bait and switch with this company. Products are not worth what they are charging. Purchased clips in last year which I honestly don't believe are even human hair. Clips in matted immediatley after following their washing and conditioning instructions. I can't even use the item. It feels like cheap synthetic doll hair. $176 bucks wasted on this junk. Went back and forth for days about the item and then said I can return them. Customer then has to pay to return item to China. I am not paying anymore money to send this crap back. Tossed it in the trash where it belongs. Don't give these people your money. Its total junk.

They failed to deliver my package and showed no real concern about whether I ever received it. When I requested a refund, instead of taking responsibility, they asked me to pay more money to cover a package that was never delivered, just to send a replacement.

I ordered extensions from BetterLength Hair on April 8, 2021, and had them installed on April 16 by a licensed cosmetologist with prior experience. By April 22 — just six days later — I noticed two dreaded, matted sections. I spent two hours in the shower trying to detangle with no success. When my sister checked, she found three more dreaded pieces (five total). After another two hours of detangling, she finally managed to get them out and braided my hair into a French braid to keep it secure.

The next morning (April 23), when I went to take the braid down, I couldn’t. My hair was so matted and tangled that it took 10 different people working from 12 PM on the 23rd until 7:30 AM the morning of my wedding (April 24) to try and get the extensions out. I did not sleep the night before my wedding because of this nightmare. Nothing worked. I ultimately had to walk down the aisle with the hair matted and disguised as if it was styled.

After the ceremony, before the reception, I had no choice but to cut all of my hair off because it was bonded so tightly and would not come out — even with the help of a licensed cosmetologist trained in this method. My wedding was a two-day event, and I had to attend the second day embarrassed, without my hair, and unable to take the pictures I dreamed of.

I reached out to BetterLength immediately. Their response? They refused to take responsibility for what was clearly a faulty, falsely advertised product (sold as 100% human hair — it was not). They deflected blame onto me and my stylist, refused to connect me with a manager, and offered no accountability or support. After over two weeks of back and forth, I still received nothing but dismissive replies.

This experience was exhausting, traumatic, and devastating — especially tied to such an important day. I had used BetterLength clip-ins before and been satisfied, but this experience ruined my trust in them entirely. Their customer service is appalling, their product was falsely advertised, and the emotional toll it took on me is something I would not wish on anyone.

Do NOT buy from BetterLength Hair.

Title: Disappointed – The Quality Has Changed

I’ve been a loyal customer of BetterLength for years — some of their extensions even lasted me up to 4 years, which I truly appreciated. The bundles used to be thick, double-wefted, and very full — one was enough for a full head.

Unfortunately, I can no longer say the same. The last set I purchased was significantly lighter and thinner. One bundle is no longer sufficient, and the quality doesn’t match the price anymore. I sincerely regret this purchase.

BetterLength used to be a brand I trusted, but it seems they’ve compromised on quality. With the rise of raw hair options on the market today, I would strongly recommend investing elsewhere

I wish I could put no stars honestly I’ve bought from them a few times over the years. They do NOT have the same quality hair it’s very poor and not what is advertised the hair falls out in clumps, the texture is horrible they can’t even be worn. Take your money literally ANYWHERE else. This company sucks I will never EVER buy from them again.

The hair is bad. I usually don’t write reviews but I have to share this. I bought 3b hair from them and I took it down barely 2 weeks later because it became so spongy and matted, no matter how much time or products I used on it.

I purchased 20in kinky coily hair and received hair that the bulk measured 18in....there are 2 strands that measure 20in and better length feels this is sufficient. Buyer beware of what you are purchasing vs what you are receiving. Otherwise the texture was perfect for my hair....hence the 3 stars.

Really as the others people commenting on here ! The hair only lasted about a month !!! After wearing it it was completely matted , impossible to use ( curly clip ins) they are making money off a fraud , those are not real hair and they definitely overprice it making extra profit.
You should go on Ali express or something like this to have the same quality but paying far less. This brand and brands like curlsqueen etc are really a scam and do not provide quality at all !!! Plus they do not offer refund if you show them how bad the hair turn , and they directly put the blame on you for not taking care of it properly. WELL MISS MAM IF IM PAYING HUNDREDS OF $ FOR THIS HAIR YOU BETTER THINK I TAKING CARE OF IT LIKE HELL. Anyway they are frauds

I purchased 16in kinky straight clip-ins and the ends of the hair were extremely thin. The bottom 4 inches were barely there. I contacted the company and was told they could send a replacement for a small fee. I would not give this company another dime of my money. The hair is horrible!

They scamming the elderly my mother order blond hair and it came our brown it looks brownish gray...And the company does not car. They won't refund her money or send her new hair the are horrible DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE FRAUDS

Avoid purchasing hair from this company as the products cause the 3a/3b curly hair to become more like 4c hair, resulting in dry and tangled hair. The company is only interested in making a profit and will say anything to get your money.

Scam!!! Not the hair in the photo and then they dor and ti give you your money back. They must have paid the girls and a video a lot of money to act like that hair was good. It's cheap $30 doll hair.

I've ordered from them in the past back in 2014 and Xmas last year 2023. I've aged since then so I purchased seamless customised salt & pepper clipins. These clipins have a slight brown tinge to my natural charcoal silver grey hair. I placed my 3* review on their website with a photo attached showing the colour difference and betterlength has removed it. Only leaving the 5* rating reviews on their website, for the same products, this disgusts me as it shows their clearly deceiving customers/buyers out there to purchase their products. That is so wrong, it's bad enough that their products are expensive but to purposefully hide the truth from members of the public is dishonest and wrong on so many levels. 1* here for their clear dishonesty.

Please save your money. Amazon has better kinky/afo curly clip ins than this place and you will pay half the price!!

I bought my light Yaki clips around 8 years ago and didn’t use them until about 2 years ago. The texture match and colour for my relaxed hair has been perfect and they’ve only started to get matted. I’m shocked to see the bad reviews here and I wonder if they’ve since changed hair supplier? If they can assure me they haven’t then I’ll reorder for sure

I bought the clip ins and they lasted about two wars before they got matted. I have tried the boil technique and moisturising them but doesn’t work so I would 100% not recommend this brand. They are the worst brand of hair even worse than AliExpress which is a lot cheaper. Do not buy. I bought the relaxed hair texture.

This hair is HORRIBLE!!!! It tangles and destroys your own hair!!!! The curly tape ins are HORRIBLE!!!! It got knotted up and damaged sooooo much of my hair. I’ve lost 1/3 of my own hair because of the knots. Your tape ins destroy hair!!!!

This hair TANGLES LIKE CRAZY! It’s so embarrassing to style it and go out and the hair draws up and tangles in a birds nest! It took my so long to untangle the clip ins from my REAL HAIR! Don’t purchase!

A year later returning customer for the same clip ins. I get a disgusting e-mail from a Christina asking if I was a scam due to an issue with my last order I was completely and utterly unaware of. I was so shocked by the unprofessional communication I ended up requesting a cancellation and refund of my order. Now let’s see if they follow through on their end. Unbelievable. Unfortunate because they were in fact decent extensions.
