Charlie Bigham's Opiniões 

Lots to like about the Charlie Bigham range but ultimately the question is, does it provide value for money.
My experience says NO.
Presentation good, Flavour good
Both let down by meat content. 'Perfect for 2' it says on the packaging. I disagree. In my opinion there was just about enough meat content for one person, definitely not two.
Sorry, but I will not be buying again.

Ok, but not outstanding. The ratio of fish to mash and cheese sauce wasn't great. The mash seemed almost slimey, too much cheese sauce? - and I couldn't identify any spinach. It was all too soft, and inspite of giving it 40 mns at 200°C, it wasn't piping hot, as I would have expected.

Charlie Bigham’s are the best and their dishes like leek , spinach &bacon gratin are the best , I m waiting for new recipes to launch

Always my favourite Except the odd changes, smaller portions and there Too much Carrot in the lasagne, ruins the taste, CARROT! I add a little when making my own but hardly any

I purchased a Charlie Bigham Chicken Noodle Teriyaki (new range) from a Waitrose Store on 14th May. It was a very unpalatable experience and I personally would never buy from this manufacturer again. It is impossible to establish the precise provenance of a food bug but there may be a connection with a very intense period of discomfort I endured within 15 hours!

Singapore King Prawn Laksa bought for an extortionate 4.86 in tesco instead of the even more extortionate full price of 6.95. What a total rip off. A bowl of yellow noodle soup with six prawns floating in it. Difficult to eat without getting covered in it and now I've got a pan to wash up, a proper dinner to cook and a top to launder. Tasted passable. Avoid.

I counted five maybe six prawns,the rest was bulked out with noodles and other cheap ingredients,over spicy and too hot,but maybe that's just me, premium meal?not even close

We've been buying Charlie Bighams meals every now and then for years and have always been very happy with them until recently. Today we had the Chicken Tikka Masala and noticed a significant decline in the quality of the chicken. Given the price is going up (now almost £10) I think its unlikely we would choose this again.

Charlie Bighams range is really good quality and as a family we have tried almost all of the range and have never been disappointed. Our latest purchase was the Chicken Pad Thai noodles which was fantastic and ready in only 6 minutes.
Next for us to try is the Szechuan Chilli Beef Noodles.
Go Charlie Bighams !

Just paid £9.95 for a moussaka and have to say it was nothing more than a big mush, nothing about it was restaurant quality as advertised by tesco, very disappointed as their other dishes are great

Just had a Charlie Bingham's fish pie as my parents and in-laws said how good they were.

When it arrived by Tesco delivery on Saturday I was surprised how small it was given the premium price and the dish was three quarter full at one end and a quarter at the other.

I assumed it must have a lot of fish to justify the price. Very disappointed. 95% just potato, almost no fish (about 3 two cm cubes) and very little taste. Expected more given the tiny size and expensive price 😞 Just a complete rip-off charging for the brand and forgetting the quality.

Won't be having another. My husband had a meat pie from a well known cheap pie company which was twice the size, half the price and 5 times the meat.

I was disappointed with this meal, especially considering the premium reputation of the Charlie Bigham range. The chilli lacked the deep smoky flavour I was expecting and tasted much milder and sweeter than a proper chilli should. The addition of sweetcorn and carrot felt out of place and made it taste more generic than authentic. The texture and quality were fine, but the flavour was flat and lacked richness, spice and depth. For the price, I expected something much closer to a slow-cooked homemade chilli. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t buy this one again.

Tried two of the new Pan-Fry range, the Teriyaki Chicken Yakisoba and the Singapore King Prawn Laksa. Both have an excellent taste. My only complaint is that the King Prawn dish is rather stingy with the prawns - mine had 5, I would expect twice that for a premium meal costing nearly £7.

We have had Charlie's products for some time and have come to like and trust the results.
Recently tried a new dish which was the Sweet and Sour Pork with jasmine rice and found this to be excellent and would recommend.

We have tried most of the range and all have been delicious! Good value, better than a takeaway and good portion sizes.

While in the UK I bought chicken TIKKA MASALA
It was absolutely excellent
As tasty as a good Indian restaurant.
The rice that came with it was of top quality !
So was the chicken
I will try other preparations!!

You may be interested to know that the App YUKA rates the meals as good (bit calorific) but acknowledges the quality and absence of UPF

We love them ... and will even eat chicken especially when it's on offer or reduced!

The red thai chicken curry which we ate most recently is amazing, every mouthful a taste sensation, spicy and fragrant.

Portion size is fine for us .

A CB meal is a treat (eating out but at home) and we often have a dessert ... maybe that helps with quantity.

I have just tried your new "five minute in the pan" Singapore king prawn laksa, which I'm happy to congratulate you on - it being a delicious, and may I say economical meal , which I feel will be a great success to accompany your new range.

I tried Charlie's Thai curry from tescos, wow its the simply the best Thai ever,I will certainly be trying other dishes,also I emailed Charlie and I got a wonderful reply,I will continue to buy this amazing food🤗🤗

The Breton Chicken is incredibly salty. The mash really doesn’t need a pile of awful breadcrumbs all over it. This was so much nicer as a kit you cooked yourself. I would never buy it again. Hardly any leeks and the sauce is very strong. It’s expensive and not good value. Very disappointing.
