Lads, it's 38 degrees, that's excessive.

Great few days riding. Came over from Ireland with my son. Very impressed with the setup, friendly knowledgeable staff and well maintained trails. We'll be back!

What a place, the amount of routes and variety is first class. Only reason for a 4 star is sections 40-47 of beast of Burdon (BoB) i think could do with some work to make it a little less hard work after the climb. I was with a friend who was on a manual bike and we both found it really hard and not comfy at the last part of the climb.
Apart from that facilities and everything else spot on.

Should be able to get a refund up untill atleast opening time on the day realy. Or make a future booking Incase your car breaks down or something comes up. Just a box with unavailable isn't good enough especially when the product you have bought relies on the fact you're actually there in person to physically do it.

Never again My experience booking the uplift at BikePark Wales was hugely disappointing from start to finish. The website was frustrating and difficult to use, which immediately made the process more stressful than it needed to be.

Unfortunately, the experience on the day didn’t improve. The overall service felt disorganised and unwelcoming, and at times I felt uncomfortable and judged based on my appearance, which made the whole visit even more disappointing. Whether intentional or not, it left me feeling out of place and unwelcome.

For something that should have been straightforward and enjoyable, it ended up being stressful and underwhelming. I expected a much smoother, more professional, and inclusive experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon nor would I recommend it to friends or colleagues

Incredible couple of days. But crazy hot weather - recommend installing drinking water taps at the uplift que!!!

I'm a regular rider there but getting too expensive as I'm a pensioner now.having to pay extra on a cup of tea for a paper cup !! had a great day yesterday.staff (lady driver) very jolly.go around 4 times a year,afan other wise.more attention to the blue trails a must as alot of young kids and old gits like me use them.

Really good and well worth a visit. Something for everyone, and a special thank you to our driver on the first run up, who offered great advice and made our visit even better.

Nice vibe with no swaggering by the super advanced riders doing things most of us can only dream of! :-) GMBN were there as well chatting with guys and everyone was having a really good time. Looking forward to going again.

It would have been 5 stars, but they've adopted a revised method of securing the bikes which damages your forks. Inverted fork users should be particularly aware. Discussed in detail below.

The positive overall comment is BPW have a truly world class trail network and crucially they are being constantly maintained and added to.

Unlike many European bikeparks who seem unable to keep up with user wear, (braking bumps etc), that does not seem to be the case with various blue, red and black trails I rode over two days.
I haven't been since 2019 and I was impressed to see all the same trails are in probably better condition than they were 7 years ago. They have also added numerous other quality trails.

The only negative point is, BPW have adopted a revised damaging and akward method of securing the bikes to the trailers through the use of a rubber tube (and secondary strap) the tube is problematic as it is wrapped over both fork legs via through the wheel (over a spoke if not observant) then under a trailer member and back to the same side of the handlebar as the secondary strap. The tube requires significant tension and due to the muddy conditions when pulled across both fork lowers it scratched the paint and stickers on our forks. So much so, I'll need new stickers and possibly to respray the fork legs!
I had to wrap insulating tape around the fork legs for the second day.

I have seen many trailer designs and methods of securing bikes, while it definitely secures the bikes this is not the best. PBW should pre-warn riders to wrap their fork legs.
The cheapest full suspension fork is hundreds of pounds with high end forks costing over £2000.
Also, any upside down fork (such as the new Fox Podium or Manitou Dorado, DUC 32 etc) may see this gritty rubber tube pulled over their very expensive stantions potentially scratching or tearing off the plastic stantion guards. This should be rethought.

great day at BikePark Wales. Well organised, great staff and brilliant trails. Uplift very well organised.

Wow what a great day. My first experience of proper downhill trails and bikepark Wales didn't disappoint. The staff were great as were the other riders. Everyone so helpful and friendly. It looked busy when we arrived to check in but didn't seem it all when using the trails. The uplift runs so smooth and efficiently, I was so impressed. Those blue trails were perfect for me and I even managed a couple of red. Definitely will be returning. Amazing day.

Another great day at Bike Park Wales. Blaring sun. Banging trails. Good times to be had.

12/10 would totally again.

First time here, a lot of different trails for different types of riders. Definitely worth the money, will be making a return soon for some more fun.

All staff were really friendly and helpful, the website was very informative and represented the place well as it's big with lots going on. We booked on as a family of 5 to the Ticket To Ride and hired bikes with a guide/instructor, Colin, who was very nice. The youngest rider, aged 10, found it quite a challenge but still enjoyed it overall. The teens loved it. The atmosphere was good, we'd go again and really valued having a guide as it's quite overwhelming for first timers.

Absolutely loved the parent and child uplift morning (10am-1pm). The pricing (£35) was exactly what I’d like to see becoming a permanent fixture rather than a one-off in order to encourage youngsters to ride and improve.

Had a great day all facilities were all there that was needed . The only negative and defo my fault had a nasty off on top of the trail I think it was call 47 something badly landed on my head wrench my neck thought I had broken it at first. Not one person came over to assist. Had to get my self over to uplift so they could get me to first aid , once I was in the hands of the staff they could not do enough for me , we all need to look out for each other and stop if someone is down . I will come back when better

Good experience but could have been better!
Uplift staff just standing around chatting with each other instead of assisting with getting the bikes on the trailer.
Kitchen staff getting Assy with when you collect your coffees and ask for takeout cups and saying you have to pay extra for takeout but when ordering and paying they didn’t give you the choice.
