Birch+Fog provided me some of the most professional, friendliest, competent and nicest customer service I've EVER received on-line.
Period.
I've used these THC products on and off for about 47 years.
The mistake Birch+Fog made that brought me here to write my first Internet product review is one that anyone could make.
Wrong product shipped.
I reached out immediately by email.

The first of my team, we'll call her "Lady S" responded the next day to my email outlining the mistake that had been made on my order our journey to customer to satisfaction began. 👍
Once the error was acknowledged and corrected, we were full speed ahead.
Lady S sent a new order to Lady E.

Lady E was all over it.
I mean the transit👌
She was all over the transit 😊
With the new order created and loaded up on the truck 'it was "on the road again🎶" 🚚

Throughout the process Lady St. personally followed up with me
Making sure that I was a happy customer and pleased with the outcome.

I was.

Ladies S, E & St. rock!
My team was with me the whole the way from BC to Mississauga On-line.
And there You go - order arrived.

Needless to say, I was both surprised, thrilled and somewhat inspired with the way this whole thing played out.
So, I'm hoping this review, written from the heart, helps some of you more sophisticated seniors make an informed decision about from whom you buy.
That sounded very seventies.
Birch+Fog delivered my product within 3 days!! Remember, that's good 'olé Canada Post - no charge

I keep trying to send an email on the email address that you say to use and when I do that it takes me to your products.

You say I owe $ ….please inform me as to what I owe? I paid all the transactions that were taken away on the visa when I was on the phone with Annalise when the problem occurred? Please let me know….I would really appreciate a phone call and I could work it out that way?
I will be home tomorrow after 2:00 my time…3:00 your time. I will be home all day Thursday and Friday. If I happen to miss your call I will return your call when it shows on display.

My name is Jenny

Accounting shows me you are responsible for an unpaid chargeback, they say more than one. This is why your order is cancelled, they reached out and you ghosted us. When you do a chargback, and dont repay, your points are forfeight unless you repay the balance owed, and use of our checkout systems is confined to EMT until the outstanding balance is resolved for obvious reasons. We also get a surcharge from the bank you know, so we didnt just lose the sale, the shipping and the profit, this is called in the industry Friendly Fraud, google it, its harmful to our company.

Im not sure why they marked you 'banned', and not 'chargeback'. Banned users my not access the Support desk, (read below.. thank Keith for that new feature). Users marked as 'chargeback' have an opportunity to correct it if this is indeed a mistake. Im going to go ahead and adjust your role to Chargeback so you can reach the people at the support desk, and work out repayment at your convenience.

This may be a simple issue of our emails are getting into your spam box, and you did not recieve the numerous requests to help us settle that. Chargeback role does allow you to continue shopping from our store but with EMT. Should a user decide to try to make a new account and continue with the chargebacks, we alert the card issuer of fraud, and the electronic crimes division of the RCMP in Surry BC, as that is a federal offence.

I infer by your seemingly honest confusion and irritation, your emails from support are likely in your spam box, and you simply didnt recognize our charges on your cc. I have gone ahead and marked your role as 'chargeback', so you may continue to buy from our store, and connect with support to resolve the outstanding chargeback if you choose to do so.

If anyone else is having a "ghosting" issue, please check your spam folder, we dont ghost people unless they are abusive to our team, or clearly have intentionally defrauded us, which I expect is NOT the case with you Rita.

You may also email us directly at jenny@birchandfog.com to resolve this directly with management & accounting should you be concerned about the teams lack of response. Im going to find out why you were marked banned, I think somone just didnt understand the distincion between the two very different roles and their purpose, as they are recent additions to our system (re: Keith below).

We would never cancel a good faith order, or ghost a many time customer such as yourself. This is just a misunderstanding I'm sure. I can see you have been with us since January 2020, and have about 92 orders with us. This certainly does not fit the profile of a fraudster, some heads are going to role here. We are so sorry for this lack of intelligence with respect to your current circumstances. Some heads are going to roll here!

Birch & Fog - prepare to be GHOSTED!

Birch & Fog has the WORST shipping\Customer Service I have had the displeasure to experience. After messing up 2 orders and literally taking well over a month to deliver on both occasions (after numerous call and emails), my 3rd order (what was I thinking) did not arrive at all. I started the 'where is my order' process after the order not arriving and this time they simply did not respond to emails. I had to escalate the issue through VISA to get my money back. In my dealing with their 'Customer Service' I was lied to about my order status numerous times..when I insisted my issue be escalated in their organization, I was told there is no escalation... unbelievable. In my digging I did find others that have left reviews of a similar experience. If you place an order, you are at risk of late delivery or none at all..and no way to contact other than emails that don't get answered...STAY AWAY, there are better suppliers.

***UPDATE***
Based on your below 'sincere' request to reach out, I did. December 10 through your Customer Support channel, again directly to your email December 11 and again directly to your email December 17! GHOSTED AGAIN!! NO RESPONSE, NOTHING, ZERO!!!

Are you serious?? Have I not already wasted enough time on Birch & Fog? Why would you make such a ridiculous plea to just NOT RESPOND??

Go elsewhere people, be treated with respect, no one deserves this..at least they aren't holding my money this time, forcing me to engage VISA to pursue them.

Beware of Birch and Fog, there are obviously issues all the way up the line.

Consider this issue escalated!! You did not leave any information by which I can identify your journey through our systems, and hold those responsible accountable. Please DM me here so I can resolve this for you. As per the previous 1 star reviews, I can assure you the staff responsible have already been dealt with. The only thing thats left, is to make this right with you.

Our business model is built upon recurring support from people just like you! You are the reason we exist at all. I am very sorry for the issue you experienced, and unfortunatly, recently you are not alone.

Let me explain a couple of things that have been happening. We expaned our warehouse system to a new location to better serve, and have had hiccups with wrong items being sent due to staff training. In addition, you may have noticed, we changed our chat system, and there was a misconfiguration, where widget conversations were not corresponding with email replies, and gave many the "ghosted" impression. (we have since resolved that)

In addition, the constant cp strikes, put undue strain on the remaining couriers, who can and do mess up because of then extra volume, and in turn have at times ghosted us because of messing up orders such as yours. Send me your details, chargeback or not, you have a significant compensation awaiting your reply. These cirumstances not withstanding, you should have been escalated properly and politely to the highest levels upon request, and for that I am truely sorry for your negative experience with us. Anyone who has had any difficulty that customer support did not resolve, or any problems with customer support directly, simply ask for Jenny, and this results in immediate maximum escalation to the Solutions & HR department, well beyond the Customer Service team. Also jenny@birchandfog.com is my inbox if you need to reach out directly.

Absolutely horrible service from a…

Absolutely horrible service from a horrible company. I made an order sept 28th and it has not shipped because they say their software doesn’t recognize my address. Well since they can’t deliver I told them to refund me. They haven’t done that and now haven’t heard anything. So now I’m forced to go to my bank tomorrow, and possibly call the RCMP on this company to get my money back and file a complaint. Be warned very horrible company.

This kind of oversight and appathy is what occurs when the customer service is also tasked with investigating complaints. This is no longer the case in BNF I can assure you. BNF HR will investigate any Customer Journey, immediate escalation for any customer is triggered by asking for Jenny at any time to bypass Customer Support.

Again, our deepest regrets for any inconvenience you have experienced, this should never have happened. You were one of our best customers, I would appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

Top Notch Customer Service

I’ve bought from B+F a couple of times. Their prices are fair and provide exceptional customer service, AND it’s Canadian! 😁

The CSR’s (Annalise) communication was very professional and friendly from when my order shipped, to the minor hiccup w/ shipping info, to ensuring I received it. The messages I received were directly from her, not an automated email.

Happy customer here!

I have been dealing with Birch+Fog for a few years and what stands out most for me is the customer service. Immediate. Caring. Productive (aka gets it done!). The products are perfect for what I am looking for and the convenience of ordering and how quickly I get my orders is the best. Could not be happier.

I've ordered several times, the items are always well packaged, discrete and good quality. I remember I once ordered during a heat wave and the items were packaged with little dry ice packets, so my gummies didn't melt.
